3 how soon can i get a job as a graduate of English Language and a Masters in Counselling (education). my husband is an IT auditor with bot CISA and ICAN qualifications.

Yea. I intend to defer so I can apply for PR cos I am very qualified for that. I found out after applying for a vocational student visa. I didn't go for medicals cos it could be an indication of the decision of the immigration . If my application is assessed and I am asked to go for medicals , my agent says it means I will be given.
well, I am waiting to hear from them as I have sent an email requesting if I should defer. I hope to hear from them this week.
You still have time . They told me assessment level 3 takes 2months so you are fine.

Bros you are not alone . I am a non svp applicant as well . I applied on 11th June . My TAFE course starts on 20 July. Induction in on 14th. Sent a mail to the case officer and they replied that they received my application on 15TH June and that it was still under assessment and that assessment level 3 takes 2months . However, I replied and asked them if I should defer the resumption considering the closeness of the resumption. I a still waiting for a response from them..

I have not even been asked to go for medicals. Have you?

You only need one letter of good standing and u can get that same day you apply at the Island office. You should be able to get the transcripts within a week, all things being equal, at the Oyingbo office.

I got my Police clearance same day for N5k at Police headquarters, Alagbon, Ikoyi. You will need to get a police clearance for every migrating dependent that is 16 years or older.

about my experience . I have 7 YEARS and 1 month experience with my current employer. I also have about 13 months with another employer. The issue is this 15 months including my NYSC period.
Now I was not posted there. I was posted to maiduguri but had an arrangement with my ZI. So I forfeited my allowance and stayed back in Lagos working.
I have an employment letter and can get a reference letter from my employer.
Can I now claim above 8years for my assessment point ?

I was employed as a senior accounts ckerk .

You are good to go. You don't need more than 6 months payslips for your present employment. Try to provide as many docs as possible while not being bogus at the same time.

Same price as the professional exam transcript. I paid N7,500 each for the ATS and PE transcripts, but I think it's N10,000 each now.

Below are the requirements stated on ICAN website (http://icanig.org/ican/article.php?id=27):
• Written application indicating destination of transcripts. Applicants phone numbers must be included.
• Payment of processing fee of N10,000 (make a pay direct at any commercial bank in Nigeria
• Photocopy of AAT/ICAN Certificate (for members only).
• Photocopy of exemption certificate (if applicable).
• Photocopies of passed results.
• One recent passport photograph.
• Duplicate copy of receipt of payment/teller.
• Applicant is to pay all indebtedness (i.e membership/student Annual Subscription/Development levy) before transcript is processed.

Please note that my first degree was not in accounting. If you have BSc accounting and the courses exempted for you by ICAN were covered in your undergraduate studies and you can provide your undergraduate syllabus, then you may not need to stress yourself with ATS.

My advice: Get any evidence u can to back up your application.

1. Yes, please. I also did ATS. I submitted both my ATS transcript and professional exams transcript to ICAA. Before my assessment was concluded, I was asked the basis for the exemptions, which I replied it's the ATS. I also submitted ATS syllabus.

2. ICAA requires members of professional institutes to provide a letter of good standing from their institute. I'm not sure the other assessing bodies require this. It takes nothing to get this from ICAN so long as there is no outstanding annual subcription payment.

Oyingbo office. Within a week. You can print your results from ICAN's website. If you can't get the results, I believe they will still treat. You'll get the letter of good standing from the Island office. Also try to get the syllabus that was effective when you wrote the exams.

Lastly what if I cannot find my individual exam result slips, can they treat without them?

You apply for the transcript at ICAN's office. Check this link for the procedure: http://icanig.org/ican/article.php?id=27 . I received my transcript and sent to the assessing authority myself. Not all schools have to send transcript. You will have to look for a way to get yours from your school.

Please check the websites of the assessing authorities (CPA, ICAA and IPA) for current requirements and documentation.

I will get the ielts 7 in all bands this July. If I can do it from Australia can I start as soon as I get there or must I study for a given time first?
Also assume the ielts is ready, can u estimate how long it might take ?

You can do ur PR processing from Australia...I keep repeating this to u. Ur PR visa processing time will depend on the time it takes u to get those 7 bands across the board.

they have plenty courses. And are backed by the Australian government.

I need your advise. Tried calling but I guess it's almost midnight there.
my agent said PR will take a very long time and that it is not possible to get PR from Nigeria. He gave several reasons.

I intend to withdraw my application from immigration and begin the PR process. As it stands now all I need for 10 points is ielts grade 7 in all courses.

Can u advise me . I want to know how long the PR takes approximately. Also if withdrawing my application current application will affect my PR process.

I applied for student visa (TAFE) Course on June 11 and I am yet to get a communication from them so I can proceed for medicals.

I really want to follow your advise of PR but I need these clarifications.

Yes, ICAN gives transcript. The transcript shows all the exams you passed and when you passed them. I did mention that I submitted my degree (BSc) certificate and transcript as well.

Hi , please I am not clear. You submitted I CAN certificate and transcript to ICAA for assessment. Please which transcript 're you referring to ? Is it the university transcript? Or does ICAN give transcript too? Also you did not mention your bsc .
Does it mean as a chartered accountant you can be assessed based on ican certificate only? Pls clarify.

Skills assessment is assessment of your qualifications. I had my assessment with ICAA; took about 5 weeks. Documents I submitted were ICAN certificate & transcript, Letter of Good Standing from ICAN, degree certificate & transcript and CV. I sent these documents via email.

If you want to claim points for work experience, you will have to apply for your experience to be assessed. This is skilled employment assessment. You can apply for the two assessments at the same.

Wow . TAFE accepted ielts General 7.0 (not 7 in all bands) PR requires 7in all courses.
if Tate is successful, do u mean I can apply for PR while in Australia doing my TAFE. Also will I have to write IElts academic again even when I am in Australia?

I am new here, I applied for student visa on 11June . I feel it is late cos my TAFE course resumes on 20 JULY.
I also have not done medicals yet.
Please I need advise if I should request extension from the school and how much extension can they give me.

Are u referring to sparodic jumping of your speedometer ? If yes then I am almost 100% that the issue is your speedometer sensor.
I had a similar experience with my Acura legend . Online Acura mechanic gave me the solution . I went to ladipo , bought the sensor , gave my mechanic to fix. They were waiting to laugh at me cos all their guess work had failed so far . To our surprise, it fixed the issue and the movement stabilized.
