Sure you can, its health related, if me that's a commercial student that's now into IT can work in care, why not You.
For odd jobs in Ireland whether in warehouse, kitchen, care, security, they've made it easier, I wish someone gave me this information when I was coming here.

I would have saved myself time I wasted in Sending out application forms in all manners of sectors. I received loads of rejection emails especially when they saw I was a full time student and will be unable to work with them Full time. Pls dont make the mistake.
It got to a point that I was getting 10 refusal email per day until I saw the light which I will show you all.

From all the rejections, I still get some even now. Maybe one in a week, some of these folks might keep the CV till they need workers, the lockdown meant no jobs.
From the rejections, I got about 5 calls, I guess they didn't know I couldn't work full time, immediately I told them I was a full time student, the tone changed and we politely agreed to disagree.
In all I got to know that There are Jobs in Ireland.

Spotlight,
If you want a Job, Odd jobs, don't squeeze your face cos of the name, that's the same job you'll do if you're in Canada, US or UK. UK is tougher because my friends there can't work.
The country has made it easier for international students but if you dont know these things, your family will join hand with pastor in Nigeria to settle your matter with God.
Just as The country's universities has paid-agents for free consultation for admission, course and visa assistance, they have Recruitment Agencies here that will look at your schedule and provide you with jobz. Imagine that.
Just imagine you're in Nigeria and youre able to work for just two days in a week, with the money, you're able to pay your house rent, buy food, and dress fashionably, if you save up properly, you can afford a car (a friend bought a compact car, the make is more than 10 years, but its neat, car was €700, insurance €1200 a year, tax was €300). All of these with the income you made in Two days/week.

Dont let anyone deceive you its better to be based Only in Nigeria, the Racism we're crying about here is worse in Nigeria, we call it tribalism. When people like us come here and the country has pampered us, we've seen the other side of life, and are sensitive to any discomfort whatsoever.
Yeah sensitive, I wont be able to handle 30mins in Lagos hold up now.

The good thing here is that The Gardai dont carry guns, I was shocked to hear that actually. The only carry batons, handcuffs, it was two years ago that they were allowed to carry tasers. Citizens here dont move around with guns, so theres no need for that.
Maybe in the UK, the cops might be allowed to carry knives, just joking.
The cops in the USA have their guns since their citizens carry gun. You do not take a knife to a Gun fight.

We have Recruitment Agencies scattered about, just go on Google and you'll find them. Security agencies and care is the easiest jobs here. Most security jobs demands you sit in front of a CCTV, just that the barriers is that you need to pay €300 for the training but the good thing is that their wage per hour is comparatively higher.
For health, care companies have their and some render free training while for others, you pay.
For warehouse and kitchen porters job, you need to get manual handling and Food safety certification. Each cost about €40. The same place you do it will provide you with jobs .if you're tired of them, you can take your certificate to another agency, get registered and start working without paying a dime because you already have what it takes.
€700 for car are you serious?

it's better to be a taxi driver o..at least it's still a personal job..you can choose the time you'd like to work..

Just an advice

ya doing well chiggslover

Well if you were away from your family and friends, wont you find it booooooorrrrrrrriiiiiiiiinnnnnnngggggggggg, I've made friends here and it's getting interesting.
Plus I can free visit anyone without fear of kidnapping and ritual killings.
I never got to visit the Pubs, lockdown started two months after I came. There are lots of sight seeings and fun places I haven't been to. Even the tourist attraction I haven't explored it yet. I was waiting till I got a job before I start to do all these, I just didnt feel comfortable burning my dads cash and later calling home for more cash, I dont see myself as a man in that light. Not that they wont give me, but that's not life.

Theres a route to class that i take occasionally, I do pass the Temple bar. And trust me, I've been tempted to go for just a sip......

Thank you. This Covid virus has opened the Truth about the real situation about alot of fake people and countries, it has exposed American as a failed nation, Kylie Kardashian as a fake Billionaire, Trump as a Racist who doesn't know how to lead, hes more a dictator. I used to think Trump knew what he was doing, until now, Obama would have handled it way way better. He hasn't even called the family of Floyd as I type, he was asked the question by a reporter. He said no. And finally, it has exposed Nigerian government, they are existing but they are not really there. They only play the game to stay in power and focus on trivial. In the lockdown, government couldn't even provide 10k monthly. Even if they did, the money will vanish and we will be busy settling the matter with the CBN. I'm here receiving €350 weekly from a foreign government . Naturally where should my patriotism go to. Lol

For once I was very happy about the government when they banned Canadian airline and others, I was shocked. I guess it was because it wasnt in favor of the Nigerian airline.
i thought the €350 wasn't real...until you settle the matter..what a sane country

To add to what the writer said, you dont deserve people respect, you earn it. How have we gained respect from the way we treat our own.

Think about it,
People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
Do you still judge people for their lifestyle and the way they live, even though its non of your business?

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
Look at the Prostitute in the street, some you have them as neighbors, tenants, church members.....
I had one as a neighbor in my service year, I treated her like a sister. I never judged her, even though she liked me more than I did, I still gave her respect and turned her down in the way that we're still friends.
You dont know their side stories. Some of them have looked left, right and backward, if they dont do it, theyll starve to death. Some were abused as kids by their father, brother, uncles..... some have looked for hustles and the men denied them that, Hoping to sleep with them when they're frustrated. Where theres no demands there cant be a supply.
The Irish law protects prostitutes, if you and an excort is caught, the Irish government will cover her with a blanket and let her walk away, and theyll drag your ass to jail.

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
The most important thing is to feed people. FOOD.
Group of boys out of joblessness decided to abandon cultism and rather hustle online and swindle people, scamming isnt good cos I dont feel good when I was scammed. I have lots of such examples around, these young boys comes from poor homes, from what they make, they pay the rent of the house where their family live, subscribe for date, if they can do these, food is nothing.
I know examples of young boys like this who take care of their widowed mothers and help to train the young ones.
Yet we sit and judge them
Yet instead of the government to curb the problem by providing jobs, rather they go after these boys. Those white folks they swindled, they are very perverted. I belong to some dating sites, you need to see the demand of these folks and link, I've heard at least three offer me money for sex, cos of the stereotype on Blacks package. Lots of them go after very small boys, and they have very ridiculous kinks. Whenever youre being swindled, greed plays a big role.

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
On churches, the goal isn't to judge them but we really dont need lots of churches. I've spotted lots of churches in places that is unimaginable. From shops that people would have used to make a living to flats. I even saw one inside those huge iron transformers.
Churches aren't what we need, we need businesses, I spotted one Victorian style building that's perfect as an office for my future plan. I will be enraged and agitated if that building has been converted to a church. Although right next to it, is a church of fire.
The church judge the youth, some denominations have mastered the art of judging, they only smile to church members, every other folks are sinners.
If you are broke and need their help, theyll say thst sin made you poor. Especially if you are on jewelries.

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
You see some folks who keep hairstyles you dont like, what is your business?
How is the hair going to limit their potential.
Will your quality of life improve when they need and make the adjustments?

People around you are hungry and have No Shelter.
The same goes for the same sex folks, as long as you are discreet and not corrupting the future generations. We need heterosexual couples to ensure the survival of the Human race. Keep the bedroom things private, we dont want to know what you're doing there. I have a problem with giving people the ideas on Social media about what you do in the other room by your mannerism and lifestyle. Let us focus on the most important things.

When Obama sign same sex marriage, Nigeria rushed to ban it, just put yourself in the shoe of someone who is hoping for a better tomorrow where I dont go to bed hungry. The same sex law in Nigeria and the one on corruption that targets Yahoo boys are the most enforced laws in Nigeria.
Give a call to the police that yahoo boys are having an Orgy with all manner of laptops of different shapes and sizes, or gays are hosting parties. Theyll zap there with guns and camera.
Try to call them if you and your family is about to die of hunger, and see their response.
You need to see Rwanda

We need to put first things first
According to Maslow hierarchy of need, the first is Food, then shelter then the other needs which are more emotional and long term comes along.
Most of you reading this, you have eaten today at least, you have a smartphone with daya,
we have about 30% of Nigerians that will go to bed hungry this night and my heart groans silently.

I am Hungry, cold, with no clean water to drink, I sleep under the bridge, how does your action and policy alleviate my condition.
WORD.... man you're a Councillor

so touching... especially the last paragraph.. how come did you came up with all these... kudos Boss.... you deserve some respect and accolade

Was taking a walk today and I remembered I have not shown you guys this funny part of the developed world.
People rent basements here.
In the last picture, they even use it as an office sef. Its very interesting to watch.
I wil be on the road one day to locate an office only for the map to tell me its here. And I'll walk around like a dog chasing it's own tail. Only to find out its below Ground the ground level.
I remembered when I still had my sight on Canada, when I checked their rent websites, i noticed th
at such kinds of houses are cheaper to rent because in the whole building, you'll be the first to freeze to death before others and Also your space become a Hotel whenever the denizens of the underground come to the atmosphere for their seasonal holidays. They will come up, chill and dine with you. You know them, Grumpy Mr earthworm, Glamorous Mrs Silverfish,
Gallivanting boy centipede and the Gothic lady Millipedes.
I hear government provided regulations for a livable underground hotel. First of which there must be a window, at least, when you're not a prisoner sentenced to a dark room of horror. When you think of it, a window makes the place feels great when you're inside. This is why we need government regulations that's executed.

Let's not forget that these houses were built over a hundred years
ago. 80% of the houses here are that old. Infact Dublin has the world oldest hospital that's still operational
even today today.
Humans will always be humans, why do you think we have all the heavy duty cameras, devices in the guards car that scans your plate number and provides information, documentations, camera and wifi in the bhs and Luas and others.
All of this is to ensure that brain works properly whenever youre here. When you know that once you break the law, MenInBlack will Jaywalk to door, then you put your hand in your pocket and shake him, he will smash his boot and salute you. If you try to try to bribe the cops, they might forget your many sins and bring you in for bribery and corruption. They might call it attempt to bribe an officer of the law.

Just imagine Nigeria wants to invest in such houses, imagine the sizes of windows theyll be putting , from some the size of 32 inch tv to size of a book, some might only punch a hole............Just to pass wire.
There will be an extensive legislative law by the legislative arm in Nigeria, in fact, when you finish reading the law on the sizes of windows, if you're guilty, you might pee on yourself. Some of our actions of today will be ready for harvest when we're older and in generations to come.
. just imagine you live in Canada with that kind of house then it filled up with snow.. you're D. E. A. D
.

Abroad isn't easy, Folks pay tax at least maybe 20% is being deducted from their salary, House rent is High... mehhh RUBBISH.... Nigerians don't care...why is it a must one must be Rich be Rich to live large in Nigeria.. many claims to be living large but scared of arm robbers, kidnapper etc... some recommended Abuja as a place meant for the Rich folks forgetting The remaining.. We deserve a Sane government, but we didn't get this what do you expect, not everyone value Living large with a lot of money without being safe... if the government refuse to give us the SANITY we deserve then, why shouldn't we leave... why is it so hard to understand... Majority of Nigerians abroad refuse to return, they might be POOR but still able to pay their bills, buy stuffs from Mac's Donalds, and other big stores, get better internet,24/7 light, yet they are poor we know... why is it so hard to accept.. majority are Willing to leave Nigeria... yet the RICH or folks who've stay in a SANE country for about 20years keeps saying shit to Nigerians trying to persuade them not to leave this so called NIGERIA, yet they made their MONEY abroad... I think it's the best to leave this country but mind you try to acquire a better skill, so life wouldn't be tough for you..

We're NIGERIANS in Nigeria we regret being given birth to in Nigeria... if we can survive as a Broke Ass in Nigeria then why can we not Survive abroad... if you have the Chance to leave please do not hesitate.. even if you're Rich In Nigeria always remember your village people who wouldn't want you alive, if you help too much they hate you for being too helpful cuz they classified it as PRIDE and the other way around is classified as WICKEDNESS..always remember the Arm robbers, kidnappers and other weirdos... Some claims to be rich but being restricted to freedom of movement...if you're RICH you can't enjoy your life 100% in Nigeria..They visit Herbalist time to time to be protected.. Nothing beats SANITY... it's has to be a general thing not only for the RICH..

Awwnnn, thank you.
I wont lie, I am quite shy in person in public. I can handle the effizy here, its online but I'll run away in real life. A lot of people see it as Pride. Till I smile at them and interact one on one with them, then they see things differently.

Yesterday I had a bad day, it started in the morning after I got some news. I was mentally down. But it's under control. I didnt bother to come here at all. I had to take care of myself first.
What shall it profit me to be transferring aggression to people I don't even know. Is it not better I sort the inner man first?

This country is Boooooorrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggggg, even someone like me is saying it. It is. I know the attention I would have gotten if I was in the USA. The USA is very lively and vibrant, the folks here are very shy.
Enya lives one hour from ny house in a Castle. Shes the extreme condition of the average Irish. Shes too shy, They call her a recluse. Even the locals thinks she takes it too much, she lives with just her cats Alone, apart from utility staff, she lives with a couple as neighbors who manage her affairs.
Shes the richest musician from just sales of her music alone, she never holds concerts or tours, she barely attends all these music awards like Grammy and all.
Alot of the Irish live like her, but they are not popular, why we even know her is cos her music dey ring for our ears.
I can say for a fact Paparazzi is not happy with her. If all celebs are like her, Paparazzi go hungry.

The lockdown caused by the COVIK ONE NINE, you can see how smooth everything is going in Ireland. The USA folks wey no sabi stay indoors don carry Placard. The Irishman obeyed it. They dont like attention at all. When the National Lockdown was announced, these guys love to jog and walk their dogs and some would go on the ground and lie there with their dogs chasing butterflies.
The country didnt even allow jogging at first so people needed to keep fit. The Guardian of peace, Garda Síochán in Irish, Gaurds in English, this is what the call their police. Garda for short. They were given legislative power to stop anyone and ask them to obey the lockdown.
Can you imagine, For the Garda to see you on the road and approach you, their form of national assembly had to sit and draft a bill. Let's compare it to the Sars harassment, theyll stop you, seize your phone, even arrest you no matter where you're going on top No evidence but here say. Do you know how many times I had to find something for police just by eating in the restaurant? I no carry dreads for naija if not, they would have reduced the money I was bringing to Ireland.

The locals got pissed when they were stopped by the Guards and started spitting. Yes, they open their mouth and spat on the The Guards. Try that in Nigeria, That morning you left the house is the last time your family will see you. The guards was just told to ask you to return home, no arrest, nothing. The highest thing the guards did was to get their details so the Judge will smash their head with his Gavel in court, the gavel is the wooden thing like hammer. Lol.

The lockdown in a place like this is effective. Only reason a place like Lagos obeyed their own is because of the Brutality of the military. If not, for where.
Some people in Nigeria as I type think that the virus is caused by 5G, some think it's a government propaganda so people will stay indoors, some believe that they are covered with the blood of jesus and can waka anywhere, some
prefer to use a nose mask made with the torn pieces of the bible. Some think that Covik one nine does not exist.

Like I said at the beginning of the thread I want to bring people together to be informed.
I don't think the country is boring man... maybe it is due to the pandemic... perhaps you can also try to roll with the skaters
