CrimeRe: Kidnappers Attack 18-seater Bus On Benin–iyere Oluku Road | Passengers Abducted by samuelson06(m): 3:07pm On Sep 10, 2025
Here we go again. No day that passes without news of kidnapping in Nigeria. Of course, APC blood-sucking miscreants will turn a blind eye to this and begin attacking Peter Obi.
SportsRe: Who Will You Blame If The Super Eagles Fail To Qualify For 2026 World Cup by samuelson06(m): 11:43pm On Sep 09, 2025
Those boys are too average and lazy. They are just too bad. No coach can do magic with them.

This is a very sad image for Nigeria. He's likely Akwa-Ibom (for NCAN militants) but you can see the American government doesn't deal with tribe. They deal with nationality.
So you know he's likely Akwa Ibom because you are most likely from there or Cross River and you feel you should name his origin. Shame on you.
PoliticsRe: Natasha Akpoti To Resume At The Senate After London Trip – Lawyer by samuelson06(m): 12:39pm On Sep 08, 2025
ElevationD:
Sorry, you are the comedian here please.
I wonder how you have reasoned that way. Maybe you intend to physically obstruct her resume at the gate.

You enjoy representation by your Senator and expect others not to enjoy representation by their Senators until 2027. As a youth, you think that way. So sad that APC has such people as you and yet you want a “better Nigerian”.
Nobody is enjoying any form of representation from any senator. This is Natasha's personal struggle. By the way, if the senate don't assent her resumption, then I don't see her resuming. Her lawyer can say whatever, it won't change anything.

I don't think surrender is the appropriate verb for that sentence.
We were thought to give willingly, out of love
That's true. Out of love that works, not love that you don't believe in.
Christianity EtcRe: From Wooden Benches To Mega Auditoriums: How Lagos Churches Changed With Time by samuelson06(m): 6:05pm On Sep 07, 2025
miketayo:
By "Building themselves " are you referring to increment in numbers or getting closer to God?
If you are actually following from the comment I responded, I was referring to the physical church, which is as a result of the change they first receive from their involvement with the church. So, church works. Directly or indirectly, there's something that makes the people surrender their money towards building the church.
Christianity EtcRe: From Wooden Benches To Mega Auditoriums: How Lagos Churches Changed With Time by samuelson06(m): 6:00pm On Sep 07, 2025
WeirdAlien:
"Church works"?? Not Jesus Christ works?
Obviously, and this is the point I was making originally, it's a lot more about the church than about Christ.
It's more of how much you're in church and how much of church is in you - Nigerian Christianity.
Focusing on the material - mega buildings, expensive equipment and vehicles than place "heavy financial yoke" on members.
That is not the yoke of Christ.
You are the one confusing yourself. What's the church without Christ? If I say church works, it simply means Jesus Christ works. No one will contribute a substantial amount to the building of any church without having a strong faith in Jesus. Have you seen anyone coming to the public to regret about their contribution towards church building project? That's because they believe in the blessings that their involvement in the church will or have brought to their life. What else do you want to say?
FoodRe: Why Is Northern Food Mostly Disliked??? by samuelson06(m): 2:29pm On Sep 07, 2025
Obavoh:
I have entered the Calabar’s woman canteen to eat a few times. The food is good but I love the Hausa food also.

Eba & Soup= ₦1,200. ( I have forgotten the name of the soup, please remind me cheesy)

Stew Rice with meat & fish= ₦1800

Pounded yam & Egwusi = ₦2000

I noticed that to eat southern Food you need to add a lot of Protein like Meat fish or Chicken to enjoy it but it is not the same in the North
Even you that's complaining, if you come to Calabar and eat from real Calabar restaurant, you'd hate foods from the North. Forget the so-called Calabar people cooking there. They don't come close to what you'd get if you were in Calabar.

Surprised to see a Nigerian say this. Nigeria played a good game yesterday.
Good game my foot. That's how they've been playing good games and today we're struggling with qualifying for the world cup tournament. What exactly does good game mean to you? The super eagles practically struggles with every game. Let them rest and let the best from Africa go. We'll still enjoy the world cup without them.

The people are the church not the pew or the building. They can as well gather under a tree.
So if the people are the church, what's wrong with them building themselves?
Christianity EtcRe: From Wooden Benches To Mega Auditoriums: How Lagos Churches Changed With Time by samuelson06(m): 11:03am On Sep 07, 2025
WeirdAlien:
The transformation, while not bad, is not a reflection of the people's spiritual growth.
In fact, it seems to have achieved the opposite.
You don't know what you are saying. The transformation simply means church works—at least, the people bringing their resources for the building of the church believe it works. So, let's leave it there.
LiteratureRe: Are These Foreigners Scammers by samuelson06(m): 2:06pm On Sep 06, 2025
Makavelli001:
I published a new book on Amazon. Then I decided to post it on a Facebook group for exposure. The suddenly I started getting friend request from the foreigners mostly female how say they are professional marketer and that they can help me boost the visibility of my book on a price.

So my question is, have anyone encountered them before?
Are they scammers or real?

File photo used for illustration
They are scammers. Normally, a Nigerian Facebook account is hardly visible to real White people accounts. So those so-called foreigners are actually your Nigerian brothers.

No bSc or MSc yet. I just thought I can use my WAEC to start PhD in these countries
Maybe you'll have to wait until Oduduwa is born. You'll be able to use Nepa bill to become anything there. Right now, I'm not sure you can do that in any country.

I’m quite of old age. Going to be 39 in few months. Most people I relied on to help me stand on my feet have either refused to help me, and even at time when they do, they give so little.

My plan is to back to school. Looking at my age, I feel I’m more deserving of a PhD since I know of a guy we went to secondary school together who’s now a lecturer at UNIBEN, and he told me a PhD and some papers or articles he researcher (I don’t know what that really mean) got him the job. I love physics and I had D7 in that which is a pass

Is it possible to do this PhD in a country like Germany 🇩🇪 or Denmark 🇩🇰 or even USA 🇺🇸? Or if at all Nigeria so I can get a lecturer job too? I really have passion for teaching high level student like the ones found in UNIBEN.
What area is your MSc? You never mentioned BSc or MSc in your post but went straight to PhD. I hope it's not what I'm thinking. If it is, you're just joking. Where are you going to get funding for these places you want to go sef?
PoliticsRe: The Devil Has Taken Over Nigeria - Obong Victor Attah by samuelson06(m): 12:05pm On Sep 05, 2025
seunmsg:
This one was governor for 8 eight years with little or nothing to show for it. Akpabio that came after him completely transformed Akwa Ibom state. Now, he’s also confidently talking rubbish after failing woefully as a governor.
You're saying what you don't know. Normally, I don't reply sycophants, but let me just do it this one time. The Akwa Ibom you have today comes from the development plan of Attah for the state that he started working on and handed to subsequent governors. The difference between Akwa Ibom and other states in Nigeria is that there is continuity of development strides in Akwa Ibom and little can be said about other states in that regard. Attah did a lot before Akpabio came on board. Both two governors did great for the state. Stop trying to condemn the man because of what he said which is true to the letter.

they do not mean she is from rivers. it means where she is resident and addressed.

it is that simple
I totally understand now. But apart from that, Rivers people also take names from Cross River. For example, you'd think Calabari in Rivers has something to do with Calabar in Cross River.

So if I'm owing you 4k and I give you 100k you'll still expect me to pay you the 4k am owing you ba. Very well I will collect back my 100k and give you your 4k.
Why not specifically say take the 4k I'm owing you from the 100k and keep 96k for yourself? You guys don't understand what debt means. You must spell it out and pay it. That's the only time that thought would leave the other person's mind. You collected the debt and you must acknowledge and pay it off.

Your story gets so many k legs, your woman left your house to go and greet her ex, claiming she wanted to see her kids.

I doubt if you know, baby boy is hotcake business in Nigeria.

Your child has possibly sold to couples who needs him.

Meanwhile, learn how to do proper relationship with women, you said know, you have plan of having kids with woman, yet you didn't know any of her siblings. Even if she is blocking you, you should have forced her or manipulate to know her people.
Check his profile and you'll understand why his story has k leg. What you're reading here is pure fiction. He tells different stories all the time.

Better. He should be trial and send to life imprisonment for all the chaos he has caused in nigeria. I don't even understand all these fake freedom fighters. Shey if u wan fight for your people, are you supposed to do that from thousands of miles away?
Six years from now would be the beginning of a new government in Nigeria. Most likely, the president then won't care. BH is here with us. Let the FG worry about that and not someone that's already convicted.

You won't see those tribal warriors changing street/area names they're actually supposed to change. It's the ones discovered by people from other places that they'd rush to change.
