Skydivine: Diamond junction where the accident happened is a dangerous place. They need to look into how to reconstruct that junction with safety design in mind. That road was designed years back when traffic was very light on that road. It is inadequate for todays use and dangerous as well.
It seems like it was a T-bone accident, meaning one of them was supposed to have stopped for the other at the junction. Only if there was a Stop sign signal. The place only needs a standard roundabout. But these guys usually ride like they own the road and not with safety in mind. |

I advice you to go to southern Kaduna to go and make this stupid and insensitive statement.
How can the two government owned university be only on one side of the state and idiots like you dont see anything wrong with it. Your reasoning is flawed. So, to settle the Southern Kaduna people, they must also have a university, right? As if the ones we have all over the country are effective. You are a big dumbo. |

rotadeco27: At least the certificate position one for an opportunity, not all graduates will be jobless and not all jobless are graduates. When u do not have a certificate, you are not qualified to work in some places except you are impersonating. Many of them end up being a menial labourers, maids ,drivers or business men or women as their capacity could carry. Not every one has the heart to be dealing in drugs and other illicit deeds. If illiteracy is a disease, then education is its cure. Don't quote me wrong. Education is good, but at the end, education makes sense when it can help you make sense of your life. Nigeria education, especially tertiary education looks more like a scam to me. Government use it to generate revenue but won't provide job for the graduates of those universities. Everyday, they issue licenses, build, and open new universities, but won't make effort to build factories to absorb the graduates. Do you know how many frustrated graduates are out there? They put it 7-10 years, spending money in school and at the end of the day, no job. Creating more universities doesn't make sense to me. It isn't an achievement. The ones we have are okay. They should channel that effort to providing jobs for the ever-growing graduate population. That's better than building more glorified secondary schools in the name of universities. |

free2ryhme: Yes, some of the so-called bandits in the north are actually offshoots of Boko Haram and Islamic state in Nigeria. While they might not directly identify as such, they share similar ideologies and tactics, often causing chaos and violence in the region.
But the government never label them terrorists. We have bandits and we also have terrorists. These ones are bandits and they have never been against the state. If they were terrorists, the FG would label them accordingly and also apply different tactics of resistance against them. So, why hoist flag there? |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Flag Hoisted At The Cove Haven Of Bandits In Zamfara (Photo) by samuelson06(m): 5:09pm On Feb 09, 2025 |
free2ryhme: This is a big win for the Nigerian Army! Hoisting the flag at a former bandit hideout in Zamfara is a strong message that security forces are taking back control. These criminals have terrorized communities for too long, but seeing the troops dominate their so-called safe haven is a sign of progress. Hopefully, this momentum continues, and the region finally gets the peace it deserves. Were the bandits against the Nigerian state? No! What then is it about hoisting flag there? Why not drive Boko Haram and hoist flag in all the areas they were occupying? This doesn't make sense to me. |

Love800: What do you mean by the bolded pls? Ideal situation means how it should be. Context means the way it is. So, ideal solution won't work for you. Example is studying petrochemical engineering to work in the oil sector but in reality you can't get a job there with your petrochemical degree in Nigeria. Ideally, there's nothing wrong with studying any of the courses, but in the context of Nigeria, everything is wrong with them. |

When considering career prospects both in Nigeria and internationally, the choice between **Business Administration**, **Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management (IRHRM)**, **Marketing**, and **Public Administration** depends on the current job market trends, global demand, and your personal interests. Here's an analysis of each course:
1. **Business Administration** **Career Prospects**: Business Administration is a versatile degree that opens doors to a wide range of industries, including finance, consulting, entrepreneurship, and management. It is highly valued in Nigeria and globally because it provides a broad understanding of business operations. **International Demand**: Business Administration graduates are sought after globally, especially in roles like management consulting, project management, and operations management. **Nigeria-Specific Demand**: In Nigeria, the growing private sector and entrepreneurial ecosystem create opportunities for business administrators in SMEs, multinational corporations, and startups. **Why It Stands Out**: Its versatility and applicability across industries make it a safe and rewarding choice for both local and international careers.
2. **Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management (IRHRM)** **Career Prospects**: IRHRM focuses on managing workplace relationships, employee welfare, and organizational development. Careers include HR management, labor relations, and organizational consulting. **International Demand**: HR professionals are in demand globally, especially in multinational corporations that require expertise in managing diverse workforces. *Nigeria-Specific Demand**: In Nigeria, HRM is increasingly recognized as a critical function in both public and private sectors, particularly as companies grow and require structured employee management. **Why It Stands Out**: If you are passionate about people management and organizational behavior, this field offers steady career growth. However, it is more niche compared to Business Administration.
3. **Marketing** - **Career Prospects**: Marketing focuses on understanding consumer behavior, branding, and communication. Careers include digital marketing, brand management, market research, and advertising. - **International Demand**: With the rise of digital marketing and e-commerce, marketing professionals are in high demand globally, especially those with expertise in data analytics and digital strategies. - **Nigeria-Specific Demand**: In Nigeria, the growing consumer market and digital transformation have created opportunities for marketers in industries like telecoms, FMCG, and tech startups. - **Why It Stands Out**: Marketing is dynamic and creative, with strong growth potential in the digital age. However, it requires staying updated with trends and technologies.
--- 4. **Public Administration** - **Career Prospects**: Public Administration focuses on governance, policy-making, and public service management. Careers include roles in government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations. - **International Demand**: Public Administration graduates can work in international organizations like the UN, World Bank, or NGOs, but these roles are often competitive and require additional qualifications. - **Nigeria-Specific Demand**: In Nigeria, Public Administration is relevant for careers in government and public service, but opportunities may be limited by bureaucracy and political factors. - **Why It Stands Out**: This field is ideal if you are passionate about public service and policy-making, but it may offer fewer opportunities compared to Business Administration or Marketing.
--- * Recommendation** **Business Administration** is the best choice for better career prospects both in Nigeria and internationally. Here’s why: 1. **Versatility**: It provides a broad skill set applicable to various industries, making it easier to adapt to changing job markets. 2. **Global Demand**: Business Administration graduates are sought after worldwide, offering opportunities to work in multinational corporations or even start your own business. 3. **Entrepreneurial Edge**: In Nigeria, where entrepreneurship is thriving, a Business Administration degree equips you with the skills to manage and grow a business. 4. **Higher Earning Potential**: Roles in management, consulting, and finance often come with competitive salaries both locally and internationally.
While **Marketing** and **IRHRM** are also strong choices, they are more specialized. **Public Administration** is more limited in scope unless you are specifically interested in public service or policy-making.
Ultimately, your choice should align with your interests and long-term career goals. If you prefer a broad, flexible degree with global relevance, **Business Administration** is the clear winner. Stop disturbing us with AI-generated sh!t if you can't answer based on context. AI answer is usually in an ideal situation. |

I don't see any need for more universities offering useless courses, graduating students without any hope of those students getting employment. Universities in Nigeria are more or less exploitation centers. They are useless to me because you spend so much there without getting a job years after graduation. |

Looking4Trouble: Shame to useless Rotimi Amaechi who took transport university to Buhari’s village I understand that everything about politicians is about politicking. Amaechi did that to write his name in the good books of the North. Sadly, it didn't work out well for him. However, whether he sited the so-called university in the North or South, it makes no difference when considering the fact that the school will only graduate people to flock the Nigerian labor market that can't offer them a job. |
