Sonnobax15: Most of us were good at a Particular subject back then.......But that didn't make us look as if we were dullards.....I was so good in physics back in secondary school that when I got into polytechnic,my first semester physics courses,I didn't even study hard but got A's in all of them.......But when it comes to mathematics,if I pass self,I dey imagine how come about . ,cuz I wasn't good at it all...
Op,you should sit your daughter down and reason with her.....At least she's still very young and very much likely to catch up......But in case she isn't interested in maths, don't force her...... Just let her choose what's on her mind and go after it ..
I'm still wondering why you were so good in Physics but bad in Mathematics when the two subjects are almost the same.
Gerrard59: I very much agree with you, especially regarding the bold. There are legit ways to make good money, but the bold are disturbing to me. I no get physical strength to fight anybody.
Exactly. I love Nigeria. I was born here. But if anything happens, you are alone. These people can torment you to death and nothing will happen. Those of us supporting others to stay, work, and do business here is only because Nigeria has not happened to them.
DrDoc: As a sound business.person, i knew 10M would not do much. Infact i encourage people to go abroad. I simply asked him to grow his funds through productive enterprise and embark on his trip with his profitable interests
The environment isn't encouraging. If you roam in your business place too much, kidnappers may pick you up. You can even trust those you employ right now. I'm one person that has never been in support of people leaving the country, but right now, I'm left with no option than to encourage those that want to leave to do exactly that. Look, Nigeria has never happened to you. If it does you'll hate this country. There are no laws, no justice, no security, no basic amenities. We are just here surviving.
DrDoc: I am not asking you to PM me o. Or reply my PM. But i take God beg you, pray for God to open your eyes and direct you. It is recently i knew there is bastard hidden money in Nigeria. This is all i can say
Guy, rest. Today, EFCC raiding my compound. I if you were there, they would have arrested you. The rest explanation would be in their office. Allow those that have money to leave, leave. Our government isn't putting things in place to help the people. They only care about themselves. Their armed men are messing the citizens anyhow they want. Allow others to leave if you can't.
turmacs: Look at them, after rigging election, they will go and thank God for a successful rigging. Chai, where is thunder when you need it.
Anyways, Nairalanders i just uploaded my first YouTube video, it's an educational one and i tried my best to make it as quality as possible. 4k resolution type shi Please help me check it out and tell me what you think
The write-ups about the people are too tiny. Why not make it one person on the whole screen instead of four? A dark background, white border would've been nice too. All the same, you've tried. Keep it up. I hope there's a lot of views in that niche. Don't plan to change it later o.
APC is creating confusion in other political parties so they can rig themselves in. No one is asking why other parties are riddled with crises while the APC seems organized to rig elections everywhere.
Salmoneus: Wow, these whites and Asians are busy playing God while Africans still killing themselves over religion. Imagine editing the genetic code of an entire species of insects to suit your needs, something no pastor on this planet can do.
Science is indeed the future.
What you mockers of God don't understand is that every endeavor of man is a calling from God. The motive behind the different callings is to create a balanced world where we can all choose an endeavor and succeed in it, and ultimately making a meaning out of life.
Being a doctor, pastor, business person, lawyer, and so on are all callings from God. At the end of the day, all these endeavors meet at the point of their need because one endeavor can't satisfy itself in the scheme of things. Pastors go to doctor and doctors also go to pastors. Business people go to lawyers and lawyers also go to business people, pastors, or medical practitioners. This is the design of life so we can all find importance in all endeavors.
So, stop this fooolish behavior of trying to mock one endeavor over the other. We all have our roles in the larger scheme of things. If you decide to act fooolish today, that's still okay because people in other endeavors would still need you. As such, in the larger scheme of things, you are still important. If pastors were not important, won't see people flocking into churches. Even medical practitioners go to church; business people and those in other endeavors also go to church. So, what can you make of this?
You think people that go to church all over the world are all foools? That should be a food for thought for you. Learn to be critical in your reasoning, please.
kevwemike: Guy wat is wrong with U? Why are U talking like a child, U don't like the girl but Ur dick like her pussy to the extent U got her pregnant, and U are here saying that she force u into the marriage, u dey here urself? The truth is that wat the family counted for U is the right thing to do as in-law , just try and do the needful is Ur in-law.
You started well then ended up poorly. So, you should shift the responsibility of burying your dad to me because I married your sister right? You are sick.
Asking him to support would've been a different story but giving him a list or mandating him to do certain things doesn't make sense. Every child should be ready to bury their parent.
IrepChrist: It is only those that loves God and want to sincerely see his ministry move forward that will see nothing wrong with tithing.. You are not required to pay tithe under the doctrine of grace, yes it was a law. But Christ encouraged that we continue to pay tithe but we must be obedient to God's will and expectations for our lives.
I WILL CONTINUE TO PAY MY TITHE BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE CHRIST GOSPEL PROPELED BY MY GIVINGS.
Tithes are like taxes. If you are in a place that they are spent well, it's okay to pay, else I don't see the point.
Omoawoke: In Africa we begin to celebrate and give testimony in church. Root cause of situation is not checked and analyzed to determine what really happened. Then the vulnerability and risk of such happening remains unchecked. Then you wonder why houses collapse or gas cylinder blows up and kill people or why the roads remain unsafe
If this happened in an advanced country like Us, the incident will be reported to the appropriate authority and they carry out their investigation and put due diligence in place to prevent any further occurrence
Who do us this kind thing?? Black man!!!
STFU. This person is only thanking God for an incident that appeared that the Divine intervened. Don't wash that off with your story of how a dog attacked a wolf. Thank God for His intervention in that situation first.
Bahamas95: I haven't done it before and I don't pray to indulge in it, don't like it from day1.
While growing up I saw how pool or whatever they called it then destroyed the life of a family friend. The man was a welder and all the boys he trained are big boys now but he's still in that shop welding tripod stand and other petty stuffs till today.
Maybe he was hoping he would win millions someday which never happened.
Good choice you made for yourself. Don't ever try it.
Nistfrank: Betting is not just bad but evil, I used to do well in business but because of betting I went into debts, am praying for God to help me back to my fit.....only God can save, if u found urselve into masturbation and betting please run to God cos with this two u can't make it.
gtassure: Na the Church started it, that is why people are uncomfortable that the MO are talking about sex! Church has no business with people's sexual lives!
As long as sex can ruin people's life, the church has a business to talk about it. Christian divorce worries the church. Sexual dissatisfaction worries the church. Many Christian families today are in trouble managing large family size because the church don't usually talk about contraceptives. I support the church to talk about sex. There's nothing wrong with that. Sexual topics shouldn't be a no-go area when mistakes in that area can affect people's worship of God.
clearcrystal: Just like the way Jesus was teaching about gbola in the temple abi. I'm never against talking about sex but not on a Sunday service, it should either be a Sunday school topic or counselling session/inspirational talk.
How many people go to counseling sessions? And if you say you during some other services, is it not the same church alter that the minister would stand to talk about it? You guys condemn unnecessarily abeg.
In this same Nigeria your juniors are using the internet connectivity and digital access provided by the government via its investment in telecoms, to start businesses that are thriving.
Some people are making thousands of dollars a month after learning forex for free on YouTube.
Lagos is the tech startup capital of Africa today.
Go and see what your JUNIORS are doing in Yaba, the tech hub. Some have established startups that have attracted millions of dollars in investor funding from Silicon Valley and elsewhere.
You have sharp young Nigerians just using their phones to go around recording interesting scenes from Nigeria and posting on their YouTube channels, and have gained hundreds of thousands of subscribers, and are banking THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS A MONTH.
So A LOT is available for you youths to do and earn a good living. Your problem is laziness, ignorance, finger pointing, govt-blaming, and a refusal to THINK.
Use your own digital connectivity to be abusing Tinubu and Nigeria online and remain worthless and useless.
jaxxy: Kemi is a Nigerian who will not support or identify with the useless, clueless, incompetent, oppressive and criminal government that have stolen and continue to loot our collective patrimony to flex and buy houses in UK and US.
Kemi badenoch is not a tribalistic Christian or ronu.
You can say that again sir.
I can never trade my progress in a foreign land simply because I want to make my fatherland happy when my fatherland has nothing to offer me or those living there. Nobody identifies with a failing thing.
Tellmeastory: Kemi Badenoch, an ajebota born with a silver spoon in her mouth and lived on the island, whose dad is a doctor and mum a university professor, and who is a cousin of Former Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, went to UK and was telling them she lived in poverty in a rough neigbourhood, walked several miles to get water, and lizards where coming out of the taps.
In another interview with her white masters, she said she was hearing gun shots from armed robbers every night from her house, as they harassed her neighbours and she was always hiding under the bed ''wondering if her house would be next''.
Evil, lying witch.
Just to gain power in a foreign land, you denigrate and besmirch your fatherland.
May your ancestors handle you.
STFU. After calling her all sort of names, ask yourself what progress we are making in Nigeria that anyone should be happy to identify themselves as a Nigerian. There's no right thinking person that would want to identify themselves with Nigeria to the detriment of their own progress when Nigeria has nothing to offer them or anyone living in or outside Nigeria. Let's call a spade, a spade. Our country is doomed.
Heffalump: She was even born in Nigeria. Now she's sounding woke and psychedelic, making ridicule of us. This woman is not representing at all. That's why I like the Indians. always connecting back home.
That's women for you. They easily forget where they're coming from regardless of all the good things that may have happened there.
My concern isn't how you deal with your emotional needs but your children. Both of you are failing them and that's not good. They may grow up becoming what you don't like. No one in this world can take care of your children more than you. Those children are only growing. There's no parental care for them. You and your estranged wife messed up. Pray so hard that society doesn't take them away from you.
On whether you should accept your wife back is up to you. It's a very delicate matter and it depends on how best you can approach the situation.
Now, imagine you own a pet dog that used to sleep with you inside the house because you kept it very clean. One day, you decided to travel and left it in the care of your neighbor. When you came back from your journey after sometime, you realized your pet dog have been sleeping outside, looking very dirty with lice all over its body. Would you simply begin making it sleep with you inside the house again? Of course, it'll bring dirt and lice into the house and mess the whole place up. So, the answer is no. You'll probably want to clean it up before allowing it sleep inside the house with you again.
The illustration here isn't about a pet dog but your wife. She left for so long and she's now back with dirt all over her. If you accept her that way into your house, you'll be taking a big risk because of so much dirt that's on her right now. However, if you know how to clean her up before taking her in, go ahead. If you don't know, ask around. Mind you, this isn't about physical dirt you can wash off with soap.
Meanwhile, you children earnestly pray they can have all of you together as one family in love. I suggest you bring her back but NOT the way you think. May God guide you right.
