The station was owned by Toyin Munis but was later sold and rebranded as Superscreen around 2001.

The truth of the matter is that, Many Nigerians don't know how to speak and write in English.
On paper Nigeria is an English speaking country, but in reality Nigeria is not an English speaking country.
Many Nigerians even the very educated onces can't pronounce English words properly, let's leave pronunciation at side, their written English is very bad.
