guide how? all the guidance you need are part of the course, but first do you know how to draw?

there are lots of useful resources on the internet, there are YouTube videos that will teach you the basics, but if you want in-depth knowledge I'll advice you take a paid animation course on udemy.

if you want to learn offline, I think there are a couple of movie production schools in Lagos that teach animations.

you don't program animations, you animate them, from drawing, to giving your drawings life (with textures) etc.

just look up 'how to make 2d cartoons' on google to grab the basics, there are many software's that you can use to make 2d and 3d animations, but you need to know the basics first.

No 2d, if Tom and Jerry was made with 3d they'll have more life like textures and features (that is they'll look like the real cat and mouse you see everyday), you'll mostly find 3d animations in video games like fifa, gta etc. (although they are 3d animations with 2d textures) and movies like Avatar, Lion King 2019 (which contained 3d textures, that's why the animals in the cartoon looked real) etc.

cartoons like naruto are done using an animation technique which is like a flip book that is you draw images of motion then go over them like 10 images in one second(10frames per second) it takes a big project to make 2d cartoons. But 3d cartoons simply require 3d animation programs e.g blender you model the characters and environment then you just animate them in the program 3d is easier than 2d but blender supports 2d now

I beg to differ, to me 2d animations are way easier than 3d, because the same time you'll spend drawing a 2d frame is the same you'll spend on 3d, only difference is color textures,

and 3d are also harder cause you'll have to make their movements more realistic, whereas with 2d you can give the characters any type of movements and people won't mind because it's a cartoon,

with 3d it has to be perfect cause you're looking for something more life-like that's why very few companies make 3d cartoons and the best cartoons are still in 2d because you could go crazy with the animations.

He also added google ads at the bottom of the FrontPage, i think the upgrade should have focused on changing the U.I completely ; it's old school and also add more emoji's & more forum board ; there are lot of interesting contents on Nairaland that are packed in the wrong place, like in the travel section there should be sub forums for travel diaries, visa processing info e.t.c and on the romance section add a MGTOW sub forum, the gaming section should be grouped into diff genres,

it will make Nairaland more interactive and fun everything here is just the same old boring Shvt, why doesn't Nairaland have an head office, that employs developer's to keep upgrading and working on the site daily ( i mean seun is making money from the site) why doesn't he take it serious and grow this site into something that could compete with the likes of reddit.

More of the ocean has been explored than space. The accepted fact about space is that it may never be fully explored. The factors militating against this are numerous but the most grievous of them is that Space is not bound by boundary-it is continually expanding. Also the implication of this on "Time" is disturbing.

A very contextual point I think a few people are missing here is the motive of space research. The ocean as it stands today, does not hold the same value to governments and private investors.

Science these days is propelled by capitalism- profit. The mind boggling sums governments are dedicating to space research will, perhaps, never be dedicated to ocean research. The ocean has been patterned, while most parts have not been explored, they have been taxonomied greatly, this is unlike space, where no one can tell what you will run into.

Capitalism is not bad in exploration, cause what good is a venture if not for profit, and moreover all major exploration were led with view of discovering great riches....

but your claim on the ocean not being profitable is rather bogus, as we know not what lies beneath we cannot lay claim as to whether it's profitable or not, also do you know how many lost treasures have been discovered under water, together with companies that keep sailing the depths in search of precious earth metal....

so it is not a matter of profitability but, the ocean is too large for just a few people to explore, it will take collective efforts for man to discover what lies beneath, and the sooner the better cause I see a future where water would steal our lands and it will be for our own good if we had established cities under water...

as for speed of light travel, nothing is impossible, as neccesity is the mother of invention, the day we'll need it we would create it, the human race is that great!
