We would learn from this mistake. How can a stark illiterate run the affairs of a country? He has displayed nepotism and favouritism over the past one year. No economic blue print whatsoever. I think it is high time we have institution put in place. For anyone vying for the post of a senator, governor and president. They must pass through a school to certify them of being able to lead. Look at Buhari's poor academic performance. What do u expect him to offer?

Direct line to Aso Villa

. I'm sure they'll answer your question

No room for excuse. They promised and they should match up their words. Nigerians didn't force them to campaign with that policy

But before you call Abuja,

call NDA boys and ask them how many pipelines they've blown so far

then

call Kemi Adeosun to ask her how much Nigeria has in reserves

then

call OPEC, ask them why barrel of crude sells for $48.2 per barrel

then

call GEJ ask him my he didn't save for rainy day

Then call Aso villa

That's a judgement not justice. Why without an option of fine when we all saw that the damage has been valued even though we know that the value of the crops was grossly exaggerated. Appeal court or supreme Court will quash it with option of fine.
Why would there be option for fine. You people think this is yunusa's case. Justice well served. Do you realize these crops are what the farmers live on. Have conscience haba mana.

Now that there is cease fire in the Niger delta region, we still haven't gotten it right. Unbundle power completely and let each state provide power for her citizens. System collapse every day.

Politics › Re: Death Of Tompolo’s Father Threatens Ceasefire In Niger Delta by sanandreas(m): 8:06am On Sep 16, 2016
RZArecta:
98-99% of those so called militant groups you say are "springing up" only exist on the internet. A fabrication of bloggers mostly and few of them agitating for third phase amnesty package. The NDA doesn't exist per se, it was set up for a specific purpose to wrestle power from Tompolo & other Ijaw strong men in Delta state then implicate them in criminal activities which breach the amnesty agreement signed which could lead to their arrest and incarceration.
Do we really need crisis when we are in recession? Peace is cheaper than war. Tompolo would never be arrested. Buhari is chasing shadows. Tompolo have given back to his community in terms of social responsibility than any other ex-militant leader. Buhari should sit down and seek wise decision. He has polarized Nigerians along tribal and religious lines by his actions and inactions. I always pray for peace for Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Death Of Tompolo’s Father Threatens Ceasefire In Niger Delta by sanandreas(m): 7:43am On Sep 16, 2016
Definitely there won't be peace from what I am seeing. So many faction springing up on daily bases. For the death of that old man, they will surely avenge. America have the most equipped force in the world but they are always open for dialogue. Buhari started this crises in disguise all in the name of fighting corruption. We have loosed more than we have gained. There are people you let be and that is Tompolo. He is loved by his people dearly no matter the crime. The university should be reinstated. Nigeria is playing with fire and mind you it might turn to regional war. The world is watching us.
Politics › Re: Improve The Living Condition In The Niger Delta - U.S. Envoy Urges FG by sanandreas(m): 6:23am On Sep 08, 2016
Dialogue remains the best option. I think our leaders especially our president and governor's should be having seminars on leadership. Every governor should also be made to enrol in Lagos buisnes school. Most of these people only know how to campaign but can't lead.

Politics › Setting Up School For Governor's. by sanandreas(op): 10:07pm On Sep 07, 2016
Running a State is a big job. It can mean responsibility for thousands of staff and services for millions of people. what qualifications prepare you for taking those big decisions? Major corporations spend millions each year on making sure their top staff have access to the best business schools and executive coaching but for politicians in charge of multi-billion budgets in major states, it's a case of seeing who wins the election and then fingers-crossed that they know what they're doing.
There's a reliance on gifted amateurs rather than professionals trained in decision-making.Campaigning is one thing, governing is something else. What is your take?

Stop quoting what you don't know, common sense should tell you to copy and paste that section for all to read what you have been smoking.
Land use act bestowed land "OWNERSHIP" on the FG but anybody and anything have access to lease agreements, what do you think C of O is used for?
The mineral act bestowed Ownership on the FG but has provisions for licenses, it is there in section 1 part 1, BTW I quoted from the 1997 edition, I don't know about your 1993. The problem you have is that you are too lazy to understand that having resources does not put money in your pocket but making the necessary investments.

From the story we just read, these scavengers have a discovery, they can not even afford to make the least investment therein which is to get a company that will estimate the quantity of Gold there to know if it is of commercial value, no one will do that, they are stup!dly waiting for the government.

Another investment should be to take the samples excavated so far, to a lab to determine its quality and value before talking about investment, everybody is waiting for the government without doing anything.

Once the government steps in and does exactly what they refused to do, id!ots will raze it down claiming "it is our land", "it is our land". that is the stup!dity of the black man.
If an investor does exactly what i have said and applies for a mining license, nobody will stop him from making his money, even if you are denied a license for political reasons, you can as well go and challenge it in court, who knows after 9yrs you may be the next Alakija,

The black man lacks everything a sane human being should have!!
Land use act 1978 is different from mineral act 1993.
Politics › Nigeria Might Be Sanctioned by sanandreas(op): 12:17pm On Sep 02, 2016
Militarization of the Niger-delta might get Nigeria sanction just like Iran did have for so many years. The government is fuming war against the Niger deltans because of blood oil. Are there no other resource? Niger deltan have fed this country for over fifty year but nothing to show. Nigeria is not the only country where oil is being exploited. We have not even fully harnessed this resource. This would tear this country apart. Nigeria should explore the gold they found in north. Before oil we living peacefully. We depend solely on fishing but now our environment have been polluted. Just let the oil be. Nigeria have this attitude of use and dump. Do you still hear of Enugu coal mines or tin mining in Jos?
