olawalepopoola:
I have the opportunity to travel to at least 25 states out of the whole 36 states of Nigeria. I am an Ibadan man and a Geologist by profession. No other professionals travel as we do. That aside, during my different field works to the north central and Niger Delta, I find out that Yoruba territories cut across political borders. Just recently we traverse Kogi state, to my surprise, there is a village called Oyo close to Obajana. Obajana itself is an Okun town (which are Yorubas). On your way to Objana you will find a statue of a farmer (possibly the founder of that town) in Yoruba regalia. They speak a dialect of Yoruba, if you listen them carefully, you will understand what they mean. Kabba is also a Yoruba town.
To the NigerDelta, I was opportuned to visit Ozanagogo, a village not far from Nkuzu in Delta state. The title of their King is Oba, with his dressing resembling that of Owo and Benin Kingdoms, which of Yoruba descendants. As we got to the village, the King all his Chieves to come and welcome their kinsmen (note kinsmen). He ordered his wives to prepare our super and give us rooms to sleep till the following day. That he told us they are Yoruba descendant and told us how they journeyed to their present location.

Ozanogogo is not a Yoruba land. They speak language similar to Benin. Oza is not too far from Agbor. We actually drilled at their market square. After several attempts by other firms.
To the west of western Nigeria, Yoruba extends to Dahomey through Togo.

These herdsmen feel special. Remember Nigerians can boycott your cattles. There are other animals that we can use to cook. Why always herdsmen commiting attrocities? There are no stringent rules in this nation. Few days ago cattle was roaming in apo axis Abuja.

The CBN and her policies is quite outrageous. The CBN floated the naira without life jacket and now the naira is in full obedience to gravity. We don't need this at this time. We have so many challenges daunting us as a nation. Tax payers money should be used judiciously
Foreign Affairs › Re: Govt Of France Finally Gets Smart; Shuts Down 20 Mosques by sanandreas(m): 2:59pm On Aug 04, 2016
abduljabbar4:
All these will not stop Islam's growth. You and the op will die of hatred. I see stupid comments all over. One thing I know is that Islam is the fastest rising religion in the world and it shall continue to conquer whether you like it or not
Conquer by jihad? What if every religion dive into Islamic ideology of hacking people to death. Surely you would be afraid to walk in broad daylight. Islam have never lived up to their name "peace ".
Foreign Affairs › Re: Govt Of France Finally Gets Smart; Shuts Down 20 Mosques by sanandreas(m): 2:56pm On Aug 04, 2016
Religion should promote peace and love but Islam is otherwise. Muslim parents have failed woefully except for some very few.

Christianity Etc › Re: French Muslims Refuse To Bury Teenager Who Killed Priest by sanandreas(m): 7:07am On Aug 01, 2016
Farmerforlife:
The sum total of Islamic teachings are not all summarized in Quran 9:5, 29-30 as you want us to believe. Nor do I believe that you have not been previously told the context on many previous occasions. If you did not comprehend it then, you will not do so now.

Your submission is also way off the topic of the op. The discussion concerns conducting the funeral rites for the dead criminal Muslim. Whatever his misdeeds were, he was a Muslim (I am sure you vehemently agree with this), and therefore entitled to a Muslim burial. Furthermore, he has been punished for his crime and that is that. Islamic stipulations are clear and are not reliant on the personal preferences of non Muslims or the emotional knee-jerk reactions of ignorant Muslim apologists.

The French Muslims' reaction was wrong from an Islamic point of view.
Why supporting evil? If it were to be some communities is my state, he would be thrown into the forest because he is an animal.

Pathetic. I hate seeing children suffer. Please northerners discourage underage marriage. Begging is just an hobby. I met a meat seller who has four wives. Now tell me how will he be able to take care of the four wives and the children. Self inflicted woes

We have lost our sense of rewarding excellence. Keshi brought smiles to our faces after when we won the nations cup. Citizens of America are proud to say I am an American but what about Nigeria? If it was to be those who looted, you would start hearing accolades. It is disheartening.
