God, we have a long way to go in Nigeria if you think one should be able to stomach disrespect to stay in a relationship.




Disrespect is a red flag, especially if the disrespectful partner is unwilling to change.




There is nothing healthy or mature about stomaching disrespect.




I mean, where I teach, we are not even allowed to talk down on children. Respect is a core part of a healthy relationship. Disrespect, on the hand, is a sign of an unhealthy relationship.

The idea that one should allow/accept disrespect as a condition for a successful marriage silenced me. I waited for someone to write something like what you've just said and now I can breathe. Respect is the main thing in any relationship. If your partner doesn't respect you, you should respect yourself enough to move away.

Ceec has to be the biggest flip flopper in the history of big brother. One day she gossips about this person, the next day she will be gossiping with the same person about another.
