cheesy smiley grin congratulations estagirl, it's a BFP, just believe and start rejoicing, bromocriptine does not have anything to do with giving a fake bfp. Try not to stress yourself and continue with the drug for now till your doctor asks you to stop, its quite safe in early trimester.

Hello house!
I have been a silent reader before my procedure
i learnt alot from this thread.
Been married 7yrs and no issue.
Had series of test done and was told my only option is IVF.
Am posting this to encourage someone out there,
don't give up God is too Faithful to fail
Had my 1st procedure last month at Georges and got my BFP on friday,my 37th birthday!
Prepare my body 3months before the procedure
took lots of fruits and veggies, had to cut off sugar and reduce carborhydrates
took folic acid, pregnacare conception and trevo religiously.
Above all i handed the whole procedure over to God, and today for the 1st time am celebrating
my birthday pregnant. I couldnt have asked for a better birthday gift from God.
Oh am so encouraged, thanks for sharing God bless you. Wishing you hale and hearty bumping. You shall carry to term and bring forth beautiful babies.

omicron:
My dear it is a matter of opinion, really.

For me, I would advise you live your life 'normally': Targeted intercourse, every other day, around and through the days of the expected ovulation.

It is always better to follow your own doctor's recommendation though, as long it isn't obviously wrong.

All the best
@Omicron
Ok thanks, I appreciate.

Compulsory intercourse
HealthRe: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by sanrima(f): 6:16pm On May 11, 2015
Good evening doctor,
Pls I have been ttc for some years now, got pregnant 3 times but had miscarriages, doctors still can't ascertain the cause of mcgs.
Was diagnosed of hyperprolactinaemia and have been on bromocriptine drugs. My gynecologist decided to induce ovulation using menopor and hcg shots.
Pls I just want to know if I should have continuous bedding as suggested on some treads here or I should only bed on d days recommended by my doctor.
Sorry for the long post.
Thank you.

@ faithfulwife,
Congratulations. Wishing you a stress free 9 months.
@ UT22
Sorry am replying late. Yes, I did my one and only flushing there, got pregnant that same month. Although had mc at 26 wks. My elder sis and a friend did theirs there and got positive results.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by sanrima(f): 11:16pm On Apr 29, 2015
@UT22, you can use continental specialist fertility clinic, opposite Bobby filling station at mgbouba. It's immediately after the GTB bank. The doctor is quite good and his fee for flushing is unbelievable ( 3k ). Though you may have to beg and persuade the nurses to book you in because he always has a full schedule.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by sanrima(f): 12:38pm On Apr 08, 2015
@ monalisa 1, hmm please be very careful oh. Go for scan to confirm, if truly you are pregnant it will show. Some of these women are scams. In port Harcourt their base is in oyigbo, they will make you believe you are pregnant and give you herbs to make your stomach bloated like that of a pregnant woman. They then end up giving another person's child to you at an exorbitant price. Do all the necessary check ups and if need be you can also try another person in womb check n massaging business. Just to be sure.
Wishing you that the results would be a positive one with a healthy baby.
HealthRe: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by sanrima(f): 11:40pm On Feb 13, 2015
One day a local evangelist bragged
during a crusade that his God was more
able than all the other gods in the town
and the powers of the universe that the
villagers worshiped put together. Just
then, rainstorm sounds started sounding
overhead, threatening the progress of the
crusade. The evangelist lifted up his
voice and declared with confidence that
if the rains fell, then he wasn't a man of
God; he would stop preaching!
Before he could finish his bluff, the rains
began to hit the crusade grounds so
vehemently, apparently in disregard to
his declarations. The whole town left the
crusade grounds to their houses, shaking
their heads in disappointment and
dismay.
The evangelist, so distraught and angry,
packed his belongings and left the town
the next day. On his way through the
next town, he checked into a local
drinking spot and drank himself to
stupor. As he laid on the ground cursing
God, an old seedy looking man tapped
him gently on the shoulder.
"Man of God", the old man began. But
the evangelist quickly cut in, "don't
mention the name of God to me. He is
fake. He is unreliable. I am no longer a
believer in this God. A God who chooses
to disgrace his servants. Leave me
alone!"
But the old man would not let him be. He
continued,"I am the fetish priest in the
village you just preached at. During your
one week stay in that village, you
destroyed all the charms i had made on
the people for 45 years. Your prayers
and your words always came with some
fearful fire and power. I tried so many
times to eliminate you but i couldn't. My
last chance came yesterday. I had
loaded my gun with gun powder lying
wait on the mountaintop where i had a
very clear view of you. My plan was to
shoot you from a distance since i
couldn't get close enough to you due to
the fire around you. But just when i lifted
the gun, the rains came from nowhere,
wetting my gunpowder and covering you
in a cloud so that i couldn't even see
you. All i saw was a bright man holding a
sword in front of you. I was so terrified. I
concluded that your God was indeed all
powerful and Almighty. That is why i've
been looking for you since then. I want
to follow this your God!"
The ex-evangelist bowed his head in
shame!
Dear friends, sometimes, it is just wise
for us to believe that our Father knows
the way He is taking us. We should just
trust His leading. Let our boast be in the
Lord, not in ourselves. If we decree a
thing and it doesn't happen, let us not
see it as disappointment or dishonor
from the Father. Let us just believe that
the Father wants his perfect will to be
done in all things.
@ UT22, it is well with you sister. God shall console n comfort you. D devil has lost the battle. Be ready for surprises because our God is awesome.
@ iykmau, congratulations mama ejima, God almighty shall keep, protect n provide for their upkeep.

@trouble,
Awesome God123 has said it all, also note that d semen May be watery as u say but d spermatozoa will be very virile in motility n counts. All the same its only semen analysis that can tell. Try to abstain from b*dding for three days n then carry out d test, sperm count n motility n culture.
U can also start taking supplements like fairhaven products that can rapidly boost sperm count n motility.

I always ignored the messages cos dh didn't go along with the idea, but after his friend opened up to him that he n his wife are expecting triplet from ivf, my guy begin reason as soon as he saw d beautiful bundles after birth. been married for five years n ttc for three years, had 3 mscgs, now considering ivf but cash is d problem. I was actually saving for it when Save a life hospital sent me their advert for this year.

hmm! this issue of banning okada in ph is a sensitive one because as a scientist i'v come to know that every action taken must have a reaction, and the product may be a positive or negative one. if asked for my opinion i think the best thing to do is to restrict the okadas to streets that are not too open and those with bad roads instead of banning them completely. besides there will be a negative increase in hold ups and armed robbery in the state, the masses will also suffer more because u may stand for as long as 2hours b4 getting a cab to your destination that is if you finally escape the terrible hold up.
