who do we believe now oooooo Dotng: Arrest Order: Dasuki replies Buhari, says panel never invited me for interrogation
* Insists on open, public trial of his stewardship, not secret trial
Embattled former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (retd.) has described reports that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered his arrest, over alleged siphoning of billions of dollars earmarked for arms purchases, as not only surprising but embarrassing.
According to the ex-NSA, the 13-man panel set up by Buhari to audit the procurement of arms and equipment in the Armed Forces and Defence sector from 2007 to date, never invited him (Dasuki) formally or informally to appear before it, wondering how it (the panel) came up with the interim report without hearing from him. Responding to the order by Buhari to arrest him, the ex-NSA told PRNigeria that “I have never been invited formally or informally to appear before the panel. I am therefore not only surprised but embarrassed by seeming indictment by the panel purportedly operating from Office of the National Security Adviser that never contacted me.
“For the record, I am proud to serve my nation with the best of intention and ensuring the recovery of more than 22 local government councils from Boko Haram terrorists.
“Because of the pride on how we tackled terrorism and defeated Boko Haram terrorists through our gallant troops and partners in the twilight of the previous administration, that is the reason I have insisted on open and public trial of my stewardship rather than secret trial in the court as being canvassed by my prosecutors.”
“I wish Nigerians will go back and reflect on what we did with even little or no supports from some countries, we performed miracles before the emergence of this administration. Even though the committee was to investigate procurement from 2007 to 2015, yet only my name is always being mentioned even when some of the issues were before I came into the government.”

i think that serves them right now Freegift75: www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/193397-minister-orders-dpr-to-distribute-hoarded-fuel-free-to-nigerians.html
The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, on Tuesday directed the Department of Petroleum Resources to seal off fuel stations found to be hoarding petroleum products and dispense the petroleum free to the public.
The Minister gave the directive after a working visit to some retail outlets in Abuja.
“I have instructed DPR that if they discover any fuel station involved in hoarding, they should sell the products for free to customers around there,” he said. “It is not just sealing the station that is the answer. It is penalizing them when they do these things. I hope the message goes out loud and clear.”
Meanwhile, the Minister has scheduled a session on Wednesday with key operators in the downstream sector of the petroleum industry, namely the Major Marketers Association of Nigeria, Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association, as well as Jetty and Tank Farm Owners Associations.
The meeting is expected to mobilise the oil marketers across the country to cooperate with government to ensure speedy clearance of the fuel queues.
“I am getting all the majors to get involved and they must take charge of the situation. They must take responsibility for all their filling stations. I have instructed the DPR and the Petroleum Equalization Fund and all the other agencies to work towards the Fast track movement of petrol bearing trucks and vessels,” he explained.
Currently, he said there was enough supply of petroleum products by the Nigerian National petroleum Corporation, as about 38 million litres of products haa been moved to various filling stations across the country help resolve the crisis.
On the approved payment of N413 billion subsidy claims to marketers, the minister confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari had since transmitted a letter to the National Assembly for the approval of subsidy claims.
The Central Bank of Nigeria, he assured, would soon make the funds available to the marketers once appropriated by the National Assembly.
The Minister also said there was no plan by the government to reduce the price of petrol soon, adding that marketers should desist from hoarding fuel and make products available to the motorists. To ensure that products become available to consumers, the NNPC said figures from the daily dispatch of petrol to depots across the country showed that by Tuesday about 38.3 million litres of petrol was dispatched by the Pipeline and Products Marketing Company, PPMC across the country |

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. na so PMB TALK ? omirb: Allowances Of New Ministers Revealed
Nigeria’s new ministers sworn in by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, November 11, will be paid N487m as yearly remuneration. President Mohammadu Buhari and new ministers. The Punch reports that the current remuneration packages approved by the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), is guided by the Remuneration Act of 2007. In June 2015, the RMAFC set in motion the process for the downward review of the existing salaries and allowances of political, public and judicial office holders. The review became imperative following dwindling government revenues caused by falling prices in the international oil market. New packages prepared by the committee have been recently ratified at a retreat held for commissioners of the agency. However, the new packages are still have to be presented to the Federal Executive Council, which has the responsibility to present it to the National Assembly as a bill for enactment as an Act of Parliament. Speaking with journalists on Saturday, November 14, Elias Mbam, the chairman of RMAFC, noted that the new packages would soon be made public, adding that the work was “going through a process of editing.” Meanwhile, presidency sources revealed that the new ministers will be paid in accordance with the existing statute because the reviewed package was not yet ready. According to the current package, Babatunde Fashola, the minister of power, works and housing, Rotimi Amaechi, the minister of transport, Lai Mohammed, the minister of information and culture, and other senior ministers will get N4,052,800 as housing allowance. Each of the ministers is also entitled to N6, 079,200 as furniture allowance, which is paid once in four years. If any of the ministers desires, he or she is also entitled to N8,105,600 as motor vehicle allowance. However, the motor vehicle allowance is a loan repayable by the end of the tenure of the minister. The annual basic salary of a substantive minister is N2,026,400 (N168,866:66 per month). At the end of each month, each minister will receive a motor vehicle fuelling and maintenance allowance of N1, 519,800 (annual value). Each of the senior ministers is entitled to a payment of N1,519,800 for domestic staff, N911,880 annually – for entertainment, N607,920 – for utilities, N405,280 – for monitoring, N303,960 – for periodicals. The summation of these annual allowances is N13,374, 240 for each minister excluding the optional vehicle allowance. Meanwhile, each of the ministers of state is entitled to N3, 915,160 as housing allowance and N5,872,740 as furniture allowance. Like their senior counterparts, the state ministers are also entitled to a vehicle fuelling and maintenance allowance of N1, 468,185 (annual value). Each of the state ministers is entitled to N880,911 annually for entertainment, N587,274 – for utilities, N293,637 – for newspapers. The federal government is expected to pay the 13 junior ministers no less than N163,765,316 yearly. |

heyah u are forgiven just return 75% of the acclaimed loot dear v gerald01: Finally, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, Nigeria’s Petroleum Resources minister until six months ago, seeks to be understood by Nigerians. The former highflying minister, one of the most influential in the Goodluck Jonathan administration, seems to be begging Nigerians for forgiveness, or at least for some slack in their criticism (or is it hatred of her guts?). Of course, Madueke did not actually ask Nigerians to forgive her. Those are not her exact words, but the intention is quite clear in the series of conversations she has had in the last couple of weeks with celebrity journalist, Dele Momodu. She seems to have come to a belated realisation of that Achebean warning to all misguided leaders that nobody wins a war against their own people.

HEEYAH SUPER MANN 2 queenzena23: A woman who survived the Paris massacre thanks to the hero of La Belle Equipe café who turned himself into a human shield and took a bullet for her is in hospital so traumatised she keeps repeating her saviour’s name.
Chloe Clement was inside the café celebrating a friend's 35th birthday when it was struck by a hail of bullets during Friday night's carnage.
The happy occasion became a nightmare when two gunmen opened fire and her friends and colleagues began falling dead around her.
As a bullet whizzed towards Chloe, frozen in her horror, her friend Ludo Boumbas threw himself in between her and the gunman.
Ludo sacrificed himself, but Chloe survived the deadly assault with a bullet wound to the arm.
She now lies in a hospital bed, remembering her many friends and colleagues who died during the birthday celebrations.
'She was on morphine and was in shock. She would barely speak,' said the manager of Café des Anges, 27-year-old Virgile Grunberg, who went to visit Chloe in hospital.
'She felt guilty because Ludovic died for her. She just kept repeating his name again and again.'
Ludo's family have hailed his selfless bravery and called him 'a hero'.
An unnamed friend told MailOnline: 'Ludo threw himself forward to protect a girl and took the bullet.
'She was also shot, but she survived and is in hospital.
'He loved travelling the world and above all he loved people. He was just one of life's good, good people. He didn't stand a chance.'
Fedex worker Ludo was also at the birthday party of waitress Houda Saadi when gunmen dressed in bullet proof vests moved in.
The majority of the 19 victims at the café were from the birthday celebrations.
Five members of staff from a cafe called the 'Café of Angels', were wiped out in the tragedy together with six of their friends.
Houda, 35, and her sister Halima, 36, were among the 19 killed.
Their brothers Khaled and Bashir tried to save the women as they died on the floor in their arms.
Halima, born in Menzel Bourguiba, Tunisia, was mother of two two young children, aged three and six.
Witnesses described how the 'trendy' café was transformed into an emergency room as desperate medics battled to save the wounded and dying in the Paris gun massacre.
Restaurant worker Romain Ranouil, 48, described being faced with a wall of bodies as he arrived at the besieged café, which was hit by a hail of bullets in Friday night's attacks.
Mr Ranouil described scenes of carnage as he watched his friends and colleagues dying around him.
'At first I thought it was scaffolding collapsing, because it was a very metallic sound. Then I saw people slumped on the tables, dead,' he told MailOnline.
'The badly injured people were brought here and put on the pavement in front of the restaurant, and also inside on the chairs and tables.
'I knew many of them. Most of the people who worked there were already dead, including a waiter called Carlos who was a friend of mine.
'One man was in a state of shock. He had been trying to give CPR to his sister but she died in his hands. His other sister was shot in the head, and she died later in hospital.
'Some people were screaming in agony, but most people were silent, just trying to breathe and hold on to their life.'
Medics were so overwhelmed by numbers of wounded at the café that they were forced to leave the most seriously injured, who had no hope of rescue, in order to help those who had a chance.
Mr Ranouil, who works at Le Petit Baïona restaurant a few doors along from La Belle Equipe, played a key role in helping the casualties and did not leave the devastated café until 4am.
'I thought that nobody should die by themselves so I went to hold their hands and talk to them.
'One woman had been shot with several Kalashnikov bullets in her side, and she had a huge hole there, an open wound. There was nothing anybody could do. She was only about 20 years old.
'I knelt down and talked to her. I told her not to move and to take deep breaths. She didn't complain at all, or even say anything. She was just looking up at me and her eyes faded away.
'I will remember her face and her eyes all my life.'

The same man that claimed that there is nothing like fuel subsidy, that it was simply a scam.. I Or better still he thinks that Nigerians are fools.. Darker days looming. . DONSMITH123: President writes National Assembly
There is good news for fuel marketers. President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the National Assembly to approve the payment of their N413 billion claims, it was learnt yesterday.
The payment is believed to be the key to ending the crippling petrol scarcity in many cities.
Petrol is being sold for between N100 and N400 per litre in various parts of the country. Queues are long at filling stations where there is fuel. Many others are shut for lack of supplies.
A Presidency source said last night that “only about N140 billion was appropriated for subsidy payment in the current budget and it has been exhausted”. “Out of respect for the parliament, the President insisted that the right thing must be done by seeking approval from the National Assembly before an additional kobo is paid in excess of what the budget makes provision for.
“This is a clear departure from the past, when extra-budgetary expenditure was the norm.”
Another source said “the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) expressed the belief that with the outstanding payment due to oil marketers now assured, the marketers and other downstream players will join hands with the corporation to guarantee that the nation remains wet with petroleum products all year round,” the source said.
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA), Media, to the President, Mallam Garba Shehu, noted that the President “is desirous to end the petrol scarcity. But he insists that due process must be followed.”
Marketers are hopeful that if the N413 billion subsidy cash is disbursed, the fuel scarcity will be over.
But they also complained of lack of foreign exchange to facilitate importation of products.
A marketer last night said: “We cannot access dollar or pound sterling to import. The banks have refused to give us letters of credit because they don’t have confidence that we will pay back. It is only the NNPC that imports and what they import is grossly inadequate.
“The issue is that many independent depots and retail outlets don’t have products because the NNPC only gives product to marketers accredited as bulk buyers.
“The fuel marketing arm of the oil industry is gradually collapsing because most of the oil marketing firms currently operate at about 30 per cent capacity utilisation. Some of our depots that load around 150 trucks daily have dropped to 40 trucks daily.
“If the current supply situation is not addressed quickly, the Yuletide will be celebrated without fuel, and you know the implication.”
The NNPC’s Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr. Ohi Alegbe, said the Corporation trucked out 25,042,686 litres of premium motor spirit (PMS) to various parts of the country between last Saturday and Sunday..
According to the data made available by the NNPC spokesman, which showed the depots from where the fuel was loaded, companies that took delivery of the product, the number of the vehicle that lifted the product and the quantity lifted, 615 filling stations got 25,042,686 litres. They include majors, such as Total, Mobil, Oando, MRS, Conoil and Forte Oil. The NNPC Retail and independents, including NIPCO and Eterna, among many others, especially in Gombe, also got supplies.
Suleja depot loaded 7,178,613 litres for 179 stations, Kaduna depot 2,470 490 litres for 59 stations, Kano 4,930,847 litres for 107 filling stations, Minna depot 224,986 litres for six stations, Gusau 2,311 951 litres (60 stations), and Satellite depot, which feeds Lagos State, 2,164,940 (63 stations).
Others include Ilorin depot 303,000 litres (nine stations), Ore 110,989 litres (three stations), Ibadan depot, 766,007 (21 stations), Gombe area, which has the highest number of independent stations got 3,662,893 litres (78 stations) and Aba depot, 917,970 litres (30 filling stations).
