Names like Igbokwe and Igboanugo had been in existence in those parts of Igboland they are still found today, before colonial masters came, and those names are not found in areas of Igboland outside those areas they had always been found.

Why shouldn't there be an AmaIgbo in Igboland? Are you roaming?

Umueze is a universal name in Igboland , named after many Igbo towns and villages, and is found in all parts of Igboland, and their existence predate the colonial era.

I use to think so too but after studying different histories on the language and the origin of the name, I employ induction in arriving at my conclusion. I'm ready to hear your reasons though.

Take that with a pinch of salt. Lecturers with similar empty eroded brains can't punish allies.

Places like AguluizuIgbo in Anambra, AmaIgbo in Imo existed before lugard's great grand father was born.

Names like Igbonacho, Igbokwe, Igbogadi have been existent before last 5 generation of British crown existed.

Nobody can re-write the history of the Igbo. Ibo is a white man corruption of the word 'Igbo' due to their inability to pronounce the 'gb' consonant.

From my study of Igbo History, we were all identified by the name of our grandfathers. Names like Umueshi and Umuokoro.

Names like Umueze, Igbogadi, and Igbokwe are names that came after the white man had invaded Eastern Lower Sudan(or Today's Eastern Nigeria).

Igbokwe and Igbogadi suggest resistance. Probably resistance to the attempt of the colonialists to break down the man.

Why should there be an AmaIgbo in igboland? We know how our fathers gave name in the past and such names are suggestive of external threats.

I know history can be corrupted and full of truths and lies, like Napoleon said, 'History is but a fable agreed upon', but I think the absence of a word 'Igbo' in the past makes sense.

How are they different and more evil than every other NASS we've had? Hold your emotions, you are a man.

What's this propaganda in the media to make us believe this to be worst in Nigeria's history? Everything this corrupt Senate has done so far was also seen in all the senate since 1999. So, why the attempt to brainwash Nigerians to make them believe these guys are worse devils? What exactly is their crime? Is it Sarki?

There's this Program on TVC, Journalists Hangout, every evening at 5pm where this propaganda is well spread. No evening passes by without the anchors talking about how Sarki's presence in the Senate neutralizes every attempt at good. This is not arrived at through constructive and intelligent analysis but simple tantrum of a child. Tune in today, and I bet you this men will still tell us this Senate is the worst and Sarki is the cause.

I'd like to know why anyone claims this is the worst we've had. To me, from the 1-7th NASS the level of corruption and ideals have been the same. Why do some members of the press want us to hate this Senate and consider it to worst even when its evil is still within the boundaries set by the others. Why do some members of the Press try to make us believe that Sarki is responsible for evil in NASS?

Very senseless and annoying. A lecturer did same(told guys to lie down) while I was in school to some guys that I wished he tried that on me. I was ready to be expelled than take that nonsense. I was also ready to land him blows and slaps if he attempted any on me. Bunch of foolish old without sense or respect for self or people.

Nice story. My only problem with history is the nature of man. Humans have shown to lie for selfish reasons. Propaganda is now a tool amongst every regions of the world.
