I think one of the major problems of feminism lie in its nomenclature. I guess when Charles Fourier coined the term (in the mid-1800s) he was terribly lacking in foresight and was unable to see how much of a misnomer the word “feminism” would latterly prove in the coming generations. “Equalism” for instance would have sufficed for a more appropriate terminology. It for one would be divorced of the “language bias” – much unlike the term “feminism” which seems to subtly suggest the “othering” of males, rather than equity and equality for all.

You have a point. But one begins to wonder why the same thing is not obtainable when science, politics or other fields of life use 'man' to refer all of humanity. Education.

I have observed that Nigerian bloggers, mostly on NairaLand forum, have absolutely no idea what they are doing.

This is 2017. No real blogger (that is serious about earning revenue) blogs with ..com or .

Most of you guys just don't get it. You want to do what Linda did several years ago but times have changed. Don't even try to compete in the Entertainment/ Celeb gists niche because its a lost battle. Your blog will fail before it started. Why? Because Linda is Queen of that domain of the blogosphere.

Your best bet is to leverage on the hottest platform for blogging right now - WORDPRESS (Self-hosted). No, no the free one.

Do you research about a niche thats not over-saturated an which aligns with your area of interest.

You cannot ignore basic SEO in your posts and articles, so need a good idea about optimizing blog posts to rank.

If you had a good webmaster to design your blog and guide you on niche research you would not be out of favour with Google.

I have seen a blog with over 5k posts and not indexed by Google.

You cannot simply "Copy and Paste" your way in blogging. Doing this kills your blog's credibility with web crawlers (computer programs that crawl websites for content).

My advice is for new bloggers (who want to earn revenue via Adsense) is to do the right thing and observe best practices or they may just be wasting their time. You might even be better off selling affiliate products for commission.

I am a Christian and we must be sincere with ourselves. Boko Haram abhors Western education and orientation. CAN is trying to shut-down a middle eastern language because of claims of attachment to Islam. Are they not doing the same?

Additional questions are these

1. Why will CAN as an official body falsify facts? [That CRS was removed from the curriculum, The claim of "Arabic Islamic Studies, and the claim that Christians are forced to study Arabic]
2. Why did CAN lie that they were not consulted despite the fact that the same CAN sent TWO REPRESENTATIVES to the 2012 educational summit where the new curriculum was developed
3. Why is CAN not owning up to his mistakes and misunderstanding in this issue and letting the media make them look more like liars

Of course the removal claim was a gaffe. But the Arabic Language fears are legitimate. When some persons believe that a certain language is divine, it can never be wrong to question the inclusion of that language on secular places. I don't want to share so much here.

Some humans are terrible. When I returned from service, 2015, I approached a Chinese Bakery for a job and I got employed immediately and told to begin. In the course of working I asked the workers how much they get a month and I was told 9000 naira. 9000!

From Monday-Sunday. 7am to 6pm. No holiday. No breaks. I began to imagine the psychological make up of the guys working there. How messed up and mentally broken they must be. One even bragged of working there for 2 years. I just used that as an opportunity to learn baking of some items for that day. Some people are terrible.
