All said and done, God will replace what the fire has consumed many times over |
iwonbaoko:Also true for Donald duke. Perhaps they are all from the same dynasty. |
kandiikane:Yes, Professor Nurse. Never heard of it? |
This thread has also turned to a "divide Nigeria" thread. I think it is time for FG to convene a Sovereign National conference, make all of una talk wetin una want. |
From "curfew in North affects prices in South" to "who go suffer pass if we divide". This thread has effectively derailed. |
Elections were free and fair. CPC leaders in Bauchi, Kaduna, Kano, Maiduguri, Gombe etc where they provided logistics for their supporters to go about town killing , looting and maiming, should be prosecuted. They must pay for the murders with their lives. The security agents should charge them to court; the judges should give them commensurate punishment. Death by hanging! |
I really don't understand how someone will compare being an actress in Nollywood to having a Phd in Nursing in the U.S.A. Nollywood films will probably pay her N 1 million tops, which is about 7000 dollars, and for someone earning that much, she will definitely not have too many roles in a year. Besides, she is definitely not in hot demand as she was several years ago. Remember people like Liz Benson, and Eucharia? With a Phd in Nursing, she's well on her way to becoming a Prof. This is the truth. I do not see the possibility of a Phd holder or professor changing bedpans. As a Dr. in Nursing, her value keeps climbing up as she goes higher. In contrast, her value in Nollywood will keep depreciating as time goes on. |

Egbira, interesting. The major thing I know about the Egbiras is that they are passionate farmers from Kogi State. |
Beync:Yes. Make dem show us their own wowo guys. |
ak47mann:It really has to be a matter of following elaborate policies with regards to the agricultural development. Nice looking out. |
Ystranger:Making hay while the sun shines. Gonna start some fish farming when I return to the south ( where I have some land available for me) |
190:Just confirmed. CPC supporters retail fuel and diesel in jerry-cans by the roadside |
Ystranger:What? You would prefer that she leaves her family abroad for nollywood in Naija? 60000 dollars is not bad money at all. |
Beync:I tire o. Some girls just want to force their preferences on others. |
Now is the time for the South to pay more than lip-service to developing agriculture. Happenings in the North should not continue to affect the prices in the South, going forward. |
Thank you CPC South-East. Now I have to ask, how come the CPC in the North got the info that there was rigging in SE/SS, to the extent that they circulated the news amongst their supporters? It is clear that the riots were a result of careful planning and instigation. Use the ignorant, give them weapons, and incite them to violence. Please FG, investigate their leaders and instigators. |
She has done great for herself. Her daughter is definitely going to break many hearts. Lovely girl. |
Congratulations, Mercy. You deserve it. |
Dbanj, Don jazzy, Mo'hits, Mo'grease to ur elbows. |
If Igbos withdraw, what of the Edos, the Deltans, Idomas, Yorubas, Efiks, etc? What of the Christian Northerners? I believe the government should effectively ensure security of lives and properties by drawing up a security marshal plan to deal with the immediate and future insecurity in the Country. |
I'm loving it. May he lose even if he goes to the supreme court. |
I would like to know if arrests were made after the lunatics blew themselves up. Surely, there were survivors. |
Petition signed. |
My condolences go out to Pastor Bakare. Sad stuff. |
What a thread! Instead of focusing on the dastardly acts of evil perpetrators and how to deal with it, someone is trying to compare a hypothetical situation. Great. Leave the substance and chase shadows. |
Lies. People died in Kano. |
Point 6 below is quite disturbing. Unarmed protesters?!!! Innocent civilians? Who are the CPC talking about? Those that are butchering people with cutlasses, or burning buildings and bombing different locations are now being referred to as innocent and unarmed. Classic!! Quote Statement by the Congress for Progressive Change on the On-going Violence Caused by the Recent Electoral Fraud 1. The Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) noted with concern the ongoing violent reaction on the announced results from the collation exercise currently in progress at Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). 2. While appreciating the inalienable right of Nigerians in a democratic system to express their feelings in a protest against injustice, they must never the less remain non-violent. 3. The CPC abhors violence by all Nigerians in the course of expressing grievances 4. The CPC has throughout its campaign preached to its supporters to eschew violence. In the circumstance we therefore, call on all our supporters to remain calm and non-violent and prepare themselves for the next round of elections on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. 5. All CPC supporters should come out enmasse on April 26 to vote for the CPC and overthrow those responsible for the evident injustice to our Party and the nation. 6. We also condemn in the strongest term the brutality of the security forces against unarmed protesters and innocent civilians and call on them to show restraint in handling all situations of civil protest. 7. We call on the federal government to investigate and determine the role of the police and other security forces in the allege shooting of about 100 innocent Nigerians in Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Port Harcourt, Owerri and other places. Prince Tony Momoh National Chairman |
Blazay:Hmmmmm! You are welcome. |
soloqy:You got it right. Most people do not understand the full extent of damage that the riots do to people. These riots have become a recurring decimal in the North, and southerners are fair game. It's almost as if these murderers keep and compare scores on the number of people that die at their hands. |
190:Ask becomerich. He knows |
