Fantastic!

And you accuse all these people of tribalism, religious intolerance and ethnic bigotry which was why they never supported Buhari?

Are you saying there was never a time they made valid claims?

That you never saw objective criticism of Buhari from this set of people?

Was that why you defended Buhari blindly and irrationally, because you believed every criticism of Buhari was either out of tribal sentiments, religious intolerance or ethnic bigotry, and that non was ever patriotic?
No sir!!!!

Knowing fully well that corruption is a way of life to the citizenry and the leaders

Disobedience of law and order is now seen as a way of life

That singular act of not been indicted with corruption charges and modesty is what first endears him to me

Read some statements online they attacked him based on religion and tribe or based on party

Opposition has a vital role to play

We must criticize constructively

So you think the entire Igbo hated Buhari because he's a Muslim, a Fulani and from the north?

You should have thought better.

We hated the Herdsman because we know he's bad market and I'm glad we have been vindicated.
Don’t get it wrong bro

I never mentioned any tribe here

We have northerners, south-westerner that also detest him

My statement is general

Seriously?

Sarrki so there's something of GEJ you like?

And you claim GEJ is not a hero?

Tell yourself the truth, do you think Nigeria would have had it this terrible under GEJ?
The truth is Gej would have shined if he aligned with the masses .

All Nigerians from across the country supported him in 2011 , we see him as one of us in the seat

He chose to favor the same people that ruined the country

Having a good heart is different from governing a controversial nation like Nigeria

So I believe things wouldn’t have been better

For Pmb I and many want a change and we see him as an alternative due to the approach and assurance he gave during electioneering campaign

But the truth is !!!

It’s a hoax

History. . . .

The most successful ambush of the Biafrans was the Abagana massacre of the Nigerian soldiers. The whole group perished!!!

But in anger, the Biafrans destroyed all the resources like food, drugs and especially weapons, equipment and vehicles. It was idiotic to destroy them. They could have helped the Biafrans!!! They didn't care bc that time, they were still using the Nigerian money !!!!

What to do? The Ogbologbo brain in Gowon's govt, Pa Awo changed the money. . . . that was the beginning of the confusion in Ojukwu's camp. Ojukwu later forgave Awo but Chinua Achebe never did. He wrote wickedly against Awo in his book: There was a country.

The picture below showed what anger can cause. Why destroying the drug, vehicles, tanks, weapons, communication equipments etchuh??

Skinner Moses O explains:

I don't go with the narrative that Ojukwu later forgave Awolowo as Awolowo never really committed any sin against Ojukwu or the Igbo race. Ojukwu only later changed his views on Awolowo's role after many years when he took a more objective look at the situation, put himself in Awolowo's shoes and asked himself if he would have reacted differently from Awolowo in an identical circumstance. Moreover he looked beyond the immediate causes of the war to the remotest cause which has to do with the sabotage by his own kinsman, Azikiwe, of Awolowo's earlier motion for secession clause in 1954 and concluded in his memo that Zik, through his vainglorious personal ambition, caused all that Igbos suffered in the war and still suffer in Nigeria today unlike Awolowo who put Yorubas' Interest above his personal ambition all through.

Works on the Suleja-Minna road and 15 other Federal road projects in Niger State may be grounded due to paucity of funds.

The Federal highway, which was first awarded in 2010 for the first phase and 2015 for the second phase, will still require N32 billion to be completed.

Although the construction firm handling the project, Salini Nigeria Limited, has assured that the road would be completed by 2023, it raised concern over inadequate funding, which it said impeded the speed of work.

A breakdown of the statistics issued by the firm’s Project Manager, Mr. Piero Canpanella, showed that out of the N46,184,599,922.50 contract total sums, the company has only received N14,283,722,374.22, representing 30.93 per cent.

Another major constraint on the project is the menace of tanker drivers who park indiscriminately on the right of way of the project, making it almost impossible for work to go on.

This prompted the Works and Housing Minister, Babatunde Fashola, during an inspection tour of the projects, to issue a five-day ultimatum to the truck drivers to vacate the road or face severe penalties.

Other ongoing projects threatened by paucity of funds include the Agaie-Katcha-Baro road, Jeba-Mokwa-Bokani road, New Bussa-Wawa-Kaiama road and the Bida-Lapai-Lambata road.

The firm handling the Jeba-Mokwa-Bokani said it had received only N200 million since it mobilised to site.

It said the money was used to pay compensation for land and other property on the right of way.

Fashola expressed satisfaction at the rate of work and the commitment of the companies, saying they had shown sufficient capacity, despite working under a tight financial condition.

He said: “The complaint about funding is already out there in the public space. So, when you hear government trying to raise money or borrow money, it is important that you take the message to Nigerians.

“The concerns of Nigerians about borrowing and national debt are legitimate concerns, but it is also important to let them know that those concerns must be balanced against what they are asking for. They are asking for infrastructure and if the borrowing is for infrastructure in a way that the money is used to deliver roads, I believe that the concerns must be assuaged.”

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said that his administration is surprised by the activities of bandits in parts of the country, which he observed, had denied people of their means of livelihood.

Speaking on Tuesday in State House, Abuja when he received a delegation of eminent citizens of Niger State led by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, he said while Boko Haram was well known to him at the time of his campaigns, he was taken aback by banditry.

He has however promised that “harder times’’ await bandits whose disruptive activities, he noted, have brought sorrow to Nigerians, kept many away from their means of livelihood, and heightened insecurity in parts of the country.

The President, who said the activities of the bandits had forced many to abandon their farms and homes, added: “we will now be harder on them.’’

A statement issued by Femi Adesina Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) quoted the president as saying: “I was taken aback by what is happening in the North West and other parts of the country. During our campaigns, we knew about the Boko Haram. What is coming now is surprising. It is not ethnicity or religion, rather it is one evil plan against the country.

“We have to be harder on them. One of the responsibilities of government is to provide security. If we don’t secure the country, we will not be able to manage the economy properly.”
