Prominent Nigerian politician in Anambra state, Governor Willie Obiano, was reported to be sharing ‘political bread’ to citizens of his state ahead of the 2017, gubernatorial election.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), candidate has been tipped for a second term in office for transforming the state. However, a picture of him could be seen on the bread nylon with the logo of his party.Sharing of food materials in the heat of the election to cajole the electorate is an endemic nature of politicians in Nigeria. Materials like rice, bread, Bean-cake (Akara) as well as money are circulated to bamboozle voters for their benefits.

A 400 level female student of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), was on Friday, March 3, found dead in the room of a security man in her hostel after allegedly smoking marijuana and inhaling fumes from a generator set.

According to the UNIZIK Parrot, the incident took place at one Anita Lodge in Ifite near Royal Bed around the school environs.The young lady allegedly went to the room belonging to the Hausa man to charge her mobile phone during which she joined him in smoking weed before sleeping off in his apartment.She later died in his room after presumably inhaling the generator fumes as the place was ill-ventilated. The security is also in a state of coma and is currently being attended to at the hospital.

Daily Trust is reporting that Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande, a former Minister of State for Information, has claimed that he has information suggesting that President Muhammad Buhari could return to Nigeria today March 6. Nakande says information at his disposal say President Buhari could return to Nigeria March 6 The newspaper quoted Nakande as saying this during another special prayer session, attended by hundreds of clerics, for the quick recovery of the president that was held on Sunday, March 5 at the Jos Central Mosque.

A lecturer, in a Geography class in the Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos, has been called out for his unconventional punishment on students who couldn’t spell a certain word.
The lecturer identified as Mr Ogunkunle has been put on blast by his students for reportedly asking students who couldn’t spell a certain word to kneel down, and raise their hands.
According to Zeekyboy, the lecturer rarely comes to his class, spends most of his time threatening and sending students out of a class they’re supposed to be in.
He wrote:
“It’s not as if this is the norm in Unilag. But this particular lecturer has been terrorizing us.
We have other lecturers who behave well, but this particular man is just something else. I mean why will you tell adults like this to kneel and raise up hands, just because they were not able to spell a particular word.
