gbanikiti: I tire for sss people.:- sss personnel are noise makers. Instead of telling us the truth that there is fire on the mountain so that everyone can run for safety and prepare to defend themselves but, they tell us they are on top of the situation whereas, they have been overwhelmed. It high time Nigerian realised SSS only protect people in government, their family members and associates. If you think you are covered, you are on your own( oyo). They knew BH operatives, sponsors and, bankers, account numbers and other activities but, they refused to arrest them for political reasons. The govt. of the day is using Innocent Nigerians to score political point, afterall, they have to justify huge amount budgeted for security which SSS is a big stakeholder. If BH kills one million Nigerian today, oga at the top does not send nor care, he will only condemn and set up committee to investigate the accuracy of the figure for statistical purposes. Enemy of the people. Rest in peace Chinedu... |
iamswizz: When did God start speaking to FOOLS?:- Since the Umbrella people took over power, selling our National assets to themselves, looting our treasury and sharing our oil wells among themselves, and benefiting from subsidy scam. Don't blame him, he is a prophet of pardition. |
toothpaste: Abokina Mallam I hereby grant you the permission to move forward and tear the agbada of owambe man.:- Bros, you wan use laughter kill us? |
Mr. Globe::- check the facts out before you condemn, and, is OBJ not an ex con or once a prisoner? Oh my God! Yorubawa have used Turenchi (grammar) to scatter Alli. Impact sorry, infact! Alli has gone! |
caesaraba: Hmmmm, you know so much about Benue o. Such a high level of knowledge deserves an award. Where are you from sire?@ceasaraba:- This is an open secret in Benue. I have lived long enough in middle belt to know the culture and communal practices. Aayan. |
ogugua88: Where in Benue do they do that? I saw it in the Culture section once and was surprised. My dad was raised in Otukpo and never heard of or saw it.:- It is not everything the hunter experiences while on expedition that he tells the children on arrival. With all due respect and honour, you dad is a "coded africa man" and will speak to you in parables about these cultural practices if you try to enquire. Lots of respect for your dad. Thanks. |
Kassidy90: And ur contribution to the topic is ? .............mtcheeeeeeew.:- Thanks for reminding us of the ABC concept. But, to a Benue man, you are speaking grammar (Turenchi). How will HIV/AIDS reduce in Benue when it is their cultural practice or custom to use their wives to entertain visitors. If you perform well with the woman, they kill cock (fowl) to entertain you the following morning. They also inherit women( widows) not minding or bothering to know whether the late husband died of STD's or not. Thanks. |
ezedolar: O boy I no marry Ene again:- Abeg, carry her go do HIV/AIDS test before you run. Remember sey the lady loves you o. |
Another well planned strategy by the People under umbrella to decieve innocent Nigerians and to cripple opposition. Breeze go soon blow for us to see fowl yansh of fee dee fee chameleon inside new APC. Deceitful paid agents. Na today? |
SOJ111: Does it make sense for some people to have these oil fields and others don't? On what grounds/basis are these fields shared? These fields belong to Nigerians and it is wrong for some few to share 'our' collective wealth. Can an ordinary man/wonan apply to buy/lease one of these oil fields?:- Do you belong to their secret cult? If no, just hold your peace and work hard in other field but, in oil and gas, you have to belong before you can bid not to talk of prospecting license and finally, oil rig. Can you pay "the price"? These are the people controlling the economy and influencing governmental policies. They instal and enthrone political rulers in our land. |
Chanchit: This country is really sick. Just when corpers a being killed on a daily bases in far north, this clueless gov't decides to increase the year again. Smh:- Let them extend it to fifty years. The best option is to apply for exemption, after all government is no more providing jobs after "slavery" service. Abeg make youth dey think of business to start, with little capital and bone dem useless policies. |
Our rulers are pro-corruption leaders. With this act, they are simply putting it on record that you can commit Crime, steal, loot and engage in vices but don't forget to support their political ambition and donate part of your ill-gotten wealth to the largest party in Nigeria. Then, your sins are forgiven and your crime blotted out. State pardon awaits you with a grand reception by enemies of the masses. Na dem dem, dem dey pardon, person wey thief yam for food dey kirikiri,no pardon, but, person wey rob billions dey recieve pardon. Oh God where your face dey? |
olu4life: hmmmn... I once heard that the vibration doesnt mean much. Abeg person wey sabi wella should educate mem:- Every object has its elasticity . The tensile strength, the yeilding point and breaking point are all considered in the strength of materials test before they are considered as useful for any structural engineering. If the joints refuse to expand, contract and vibrate with reference to heat, cold and weight/stress, then the bridge may collapse by common resonance. All form of expansions during hot season and contractions during cold times, vibrations are all normal engineering parameters. People should not be scared while driving across. Thanks. |
DaLover: whats wrong if we allow people to exploit their own resources and pay tax?:- Na so you hate poli-trickcians?. How dem go see money loot if your proposal works. Another name for Nigeria's Democracy is "IWURUWURU" If you put Maurice na you sabi o |
Akinosho only knows the technical side of Oil blocks but, he does not know the present political Oil block "arrangee" . Some Northerners are using the southerners he mentioned as smoke screen, some as proxy or puppets while the puppetiers are Northerners. We know some journalists are paid agents, after all, Big, Brown Envelopes with Dollars easily change hands as honorarium. Breeze don blow, we don see Fowl yansh. More revelations pleaaaaaase! |
You have all done wonderfully well by your insightful posts/comments. You made me think about the Biblical account of the world that once spoke the same language in BABYLON. They wanted to reach unto God physically and agreed to build a tower. When HE( God) saw what they will achieve this singular language and agreement, HE diversified their tongues and they could no longer understand themselves and that ended the project. People became scattered because they could not communicate effectively. A common example of such misunderstanding is between the Yorubas and the Binis (EDO) :1, domo in benin means, respectful greeting to elder where as," have sex with a child" is the meaning in yoruba. 2, Obota means, good evening in Benin but, it means "Vagina sells" to a yoruba folk. 3, Oko yo o means, well done in Benin but, "the Pennis is out" in yoruba language. A yoruba folk listening to the Binis exchanging greetings and pleasantries will term them to be corrupt with their words. whereas the Binis are upright in their communication. What a confusion! Peace. |
Any one that knows that boy in Man U contact should tell him to contest for Taekwando in next olympics competion. A classical Bruce lee kungfu style. |
deols: You are talking something you know nothing about.first it is halal and second there is no such agency in Nigeria. Fact is the sign is there. You can decide to pretend it isn't or just accept the fact.:- Thank you for pointing out my typographical error(s). I want you to do a little market survey, you will find Halal Compliant products. Meat is used in preparing seasoning for cooking e.g Maggi ( nestle) , Indomie noodles seasoning all have halal certification just to mention a few. This halal certification is presently causing bruhaha in Indonesia. I know what i am talking about sir. Please, put my facts to test and you will discover the truth about halah certified consumables in Nigeria. I know God is all knowing, most powerful but, you cannot rule out human manipulations in physical things like meat. Thanks once again. |
There is an islamic way of certifying or certification of food items especially MEAT. Just like the way NAFDAC certify drugs in Nigeria. This islam certification is known as HILAL. It is to authenticate that animals are killed in islam way and not dead nor diseased animals are prepared. This is an official and common practise in any muslim society . If any meat does not have Hilal or Allah stamped on it, people will no buy because, it is Haram. I believe in God doing wonders but, this is meat certification stamp. Thanks. |
Capnd143: you see bro, that is the problem with some nigerians, when you tell the truth, the simply refuse to believe, even when given evidence. The ambassador of us clearly told fg after a boko haram bombing saying "america does not a permanet freind but rather permanent interest" and will go beyound lines to proctect it interest. Any wel thinking guy would understand the implication of that statement.:- The U.S.A official used an international Diplomatic language of " No permanent friend and But, permanent interest" which connotes the fact that, it is Nigeria that invest huge human and material resources into another country without benefitting from such venture. Even if CIA is ready to fund or cause division in Nigeria, must Nigerians allow religious extremism overcloud their sense of reasoning and resolve to killing innocents? Peace. |
take dat: That is another angle you just added, we do not know if it is unconstitutional for the president to assent the appropriation bill, after 30 days of its presentation or re-present it to the national assembly? I guess they would have consulted some legal luminaries before taking this decision! Just hope we don't fall into a possible constitutional crisis, because of the greed and self serving interest of our unscrupulous law makers and the wanton profligacy of our executive!:- The more they disagree the better for us, because more secrets will be revealed on how the treasury looting has been and will be corner for selfish, personal and political interest. More crisis within them, more revelations. Thanks. |
chiboy11: if u went to skul u will kno more about localization of industry n wat it contribute to d new surroundings , its nt about tribalism answer dis ow many yorubas ve a shop on computer vilage, re u talkin as if u dont go dier, dis s how dey said dey will relocate ladipo market n alaba international b4 d ibos fout dat out wit bare hands:- Are you blaming the yorubas in that area for accommodating other tribes and tolerating them despite the shady dealings some of traders in that residential area turned market are involved in? Let us address issues and not tribal and religious sentiment. Thanks. |
abifoluwa: Sorry for the ignorance o, but erm i think say economy bin don collapse before, or are they telling me we are going to be the next zimbabwe?:- With boko haram , it will be worst than zimbabwe . |
It will create confusion, because, Obtaining under false pretence is a section in our law that falls under number 419. It is highly felonious to be charged into the law court with this section. Nigerians are already confused with unpleasant government policies. If 419 is adopted, some people will term police authority to be fraudsters. You and i can attest to the bad image of the police, this may permanently soil every thing and the actiom will be counter productive in fighting crime. A simple no. as 111, 234 or 123 will be okay. Thanks. |
Russians in conjuction with Iran supplied Arms & Ammunitions to Al shabbab in Somalia, they are presently backing and supplying weapons to president Al assad of Syria to exterminate his people. They wanted to supply weapons to Boko Haram and God exposed them in the process. They are doing all these to spite America and create full blown war so as to sell their Military products. They don't care for humanity. Let the law take its full course. Chikenah. |
To much religiousity in Nigeria but, people that are claiming to promote religion do not have a genuine heart for God. That's why atheists see religious folks as hypocrites. Instead of addressing issues we begin to weep up religious sentiment, instead of healing the ills in our society we always result to ethnic/tribal differences. If we continue like this, when will peace reign? |
LagosShia: In a government school, where all students are equal citizens,if a female decides not to wear hijab because she a Christian (who haven't read Corinthians),she shouldn't be forced to wear hijab even if the majority of the school is muslim.likewise,if a female decides to wear hijab, she has the right to even if the government school is majority non-muslim or Christian.had this happened in Anambra state,I won't be suprised.but this principal obviously from another region of Nigeria is bringing her ignorance and fanaticism in Lagos,a Yoruba state where indigenous Yorubas are majority muslim.this is NOT acceptable.the principal should go back to the east or wherever she is from to practice her extremism and hatred for Muslims.:- Every body is against the principal's inhuman action. Please give us the source of your info that yorubas are majorly in islam. DON'T post comment that can cause religious war between muslims and adherents of other faith in yoruba land. Oloolu masquerade followers and muslims clash in Ibadan was a terrible experience i will never forget. Never forget Oro worshipers and muslim youths mayhem in Abeokuta. Thanks. |
trisurface: Let's see::- Oga, are you sure those animals that you mentioned to be in existence in Wild Nigeria have not found themselves in pots of soup? If you doubt me, go to Saapade junction along Ore -> ijebu ode road and Brewery junction in Abeokuta to see for yourself. Enough meat from wild. |
Chyko4spe: Did you know that::- Do you know? On etv series. Thanks . |
Yoruba_Omoge: I'll try to post a video:- sir, Yoruba_omoge descriptions fit into :The Adaptive radiation of birds, especially, the Territoriality display. This include ability to protect niché, personal safety from predators, protecting mating partner, adjustment and oilling of plummages, communicative display etc. Pigeons, doves and guinea fowls are common examples. |
Yoruba_Omoge: I don't think it necessarily has to do with change of diet, but more with available resource. carnivores will eat anything meat they come in contact with. Throw a man into a lion/tiger territory, healthy or not, they'll chop him up. Carnivorous animals like lions/tigers will eat anything that is readily available in their surrounding.:- I like your comment. For an animal to be termed a carnivore, it must be able to kill its prey for survival (food). Not all carnivores are man eater especially in the aquatic world. Dolphin, sea lion, seal, penguin etc are not man eaters. Thanks. |
tomakint: Trust me the first time I did a thorough research on these 'pugnacious antelopes' I discovered that the 'The Forest' is indeed a battle for survival! A sable antelope is truly a match for a lion if cornered!:- It can only kick with hind legs, any attempt to use the horns will result to the lion going for its wind pipe thereby becoming delicious food. |
