and this article is false and laughable.

ACN didnt merge with ANPP (when Buhari was in ANPP) so what makes anyone think ACN with 3 states and gaining ground in delta state ( omo- agege), osun,
rivers (Sekibo, Abel-Tariah) will want to merge with buhari now? lol

funny tho

if jonathan loses in 2011 the party that will probably win is ACN.

Afenifere Leader, South West PDP Back Jonathan

President Jonathan is entitled to contest. I do not believe in this zoning arrangement it would not produce the best for the country. President Jonathan is entitled to his ambition. He is a citizen of this country and nobody should deprive him of his right to contest.

"Nigerians should support him so that he completes the terms of the late President. If we say zoning, this would shut out the best candidate and would not produce the best for the country. Other presidential candidates also have the right to contest against him. But nobody should say he should not contest. It is his right, and all these controversies are distractions."

I am not surprised for one bit that Afenifere, Yoruba’s socio-political organization, would negotiate sudden U-turn on GEJ.
you are clown as we know they are all in different parties.

@If PDP is to stay in Governement I think everyone agrees Jonathan is the BEST CANDIDATE IN PDP regardless of zoning.

IT IS CLEAR PDP IS TERRIBLE but jonathan is the most realstic candidate they have to offer.

The people to beat are jonathan and ribadu lastly buhari. all of whom are in different parties. and one afenifere leader supported jonathan and he CLEARLY STATED HE DOES NOT REPRESENT AFENIFERE'S VIEWS on Jonathan.

Also this article is sooooooo unrealstic cause Tinubu and ACN  already have set forth a requirements for their ACN flag beaer to have a MAIN ONE was YOUTH. AND TINIBU,AKANDE, WILL NOT SACRFICE THIER GROWING ACN PARTY ( 3 states) for CPC lol which was created two months ago.
Buahri is the one who needs ACN not the other way around ANPP and ACN have had talks in the pass about merging ACN WILL NEVER DO IT IT DOESNT BENEFIT THEM UNLESS THIER PARTY IS THE LEADING PARTY AND THEY PARTY ON THE BALLOT.

Jah Man:
@All,
I do not know what the poster wants to achieve but I go with the group that says "Religion has nothing to do with good governance".
I do not care who came to Lagos 1st, Islam or Chritianity.Let me make it clear to the people referring to the 5 SW guvnors installed by Obasanjo as 'christians' that they are committing a sacrilegous error. They were not christians and I pray they are now christians.Infact even the Igbos that call themselves christians are nothing but religious church-goers, their guvnors and politicians inclusive.
Christianity is not just 'another religion' but the 'only religion' and the only way of life approved by God. "For there is one God,and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus" -1Timothy 2:5.
Let me also inform you that a christian is someone who behaves like Christ and not someone whose place of worship is the church.Read Acts 11:26 and understand that the word 'christian' emanated from the fact that the early believers were behaving like Christ.

Let no one deceive himself again on this issue, anyday a christian, as in a christian rules this country,we all will see the difference.

I urge you all to leave religion and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour so you can begin the 'christian race'

God bless you.

You post is baseless. That osun state budget is 144bn does it mean anything. Check there internally generated revenue and see if they are really producing such funds or is it not the fed allocation alone that they based their budget on. Tell me one major source of income to oyo, osun, ekiti, ondo states gov that will warrant such political budgets that they are declaring.

In the entire SW its only Lagos that has infrastructure to challenge Anambra state, other states of the SW is not upto a Local govt in Anambra state in terms of revenue generation and infrastructure. The last I visited SW (except Lagos) I cried, because they are still in living stone age. There are still mud houses in the state capitals. What we re talking about is that Anambra state can survive without the fed allocation. The internally generated revenue of Onitsha alone is bigger than SW states put together (except Lagos). I wonder what will happen when Anambra Orient refinery starts producing later in the year and also the seaport at Onitsha. So it an insult comparing Anambra state with such states as oyo, ogun, osun, ekiti and the rest of them. Go and check your records , Anambra is the third biggest economy in Nigeria, after Lagos and Rivers states.
lol see pride and baseless debates Ithink that title go to Delta

If anambra has the third biggest economy in Nigeria than please provide facts- its that simple

Islam came to Lagos before christianity. Matter of fact, Yoruba land knew Islam before christianity. Many of those christian Yoruba families you see have muslim backgrounds.
100% correct islam came before christianity.

and Eko people are muslims - im a christian and have no problem with having a muslim govenor or president.
Obj is a christian and during his years the SW had 5 christian govs who WERE ALL BLOODY terrible.

so religion has nothing to do with good governance.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Must Hand Over In 2015. He Cannot Be Sworn In Thrice by sbeezy8: 4:11pm On Nov 02, 2010
HAHAHA PDP is falling apart already-

They are losing states in the SW and North and will lose states in the ND after Jonathan doesnt become president be it in 2011 or 2015 or whenever.
PDP party is formed on  lies everyone sees it except the SE- the reason why the SS is jumping to catch the ppresidency cause they know after the north term is over the MAJORITY OF THE NORTH WILL DUMP THAT LIE "ZONING" common sense.

The norths TRUE party isnt PDP and the Wests true party isnt PDP. When Jonathan isnt president anymore states who were PDP will go back to their other parties AC ANPP LB etc.

SE should smarten up. REGIONS ONLY VOTE PDP WHEN SOMEONE FROM THEIR REGION IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT- duh.
see how the Southwest PDP is crumbling Obj is not in office anymore. See how the North PDP is falling apart Yaradua is no longer in office, After who ever is elected in 2011 finishes his TERM. ALL PDP STATES IN THE FOLLOWING REGIONS( North, SW and SS ) WILL EITHER DUMP PDP IN TOTALITY OR DUMP ZONING.

as ZONING is A LIE. Northerners dont believe in it and just want to trick the SE.  After a northerner is president they will dump it and say " southerners supported jonathan(mainly SW and SS), so we to should support our own northernern candidate".  even though they know the SE wants zoning the most they wont care and look at it as the WHOLE south dumped zoning.
They like to divide the south when it benefits them and like to see the south as one when it benefits them. WHICH IS WHY THE NORTH SAYS ZONING IS BETWEEN NORTH AND SOUTH - NOT BETWEEN geopolitical zones like the southerners see it. cause its a lie

@excanny you said yoruba girls sleep around ok "kini big deal"

Is it your puzzy or are you scared if you date a yoruba chick she wont be satisfied with small dik guy like you?

to keep a yoruba lady "happy" its WORK  good zex, money, etc. If youre not up to the task then leave dem.

@ Me Ohh Im up to task for any babe yoruba igbo urhobo hausa ijaw calabar- e no matta. I like all babes regardless of tribe im not looking for any particular tribe to marry in doesnt matter to me.

IF U GUYS LIKE U CAN ARGUE FROM SUN UP TO SUN DOWN, SAY IGBO's LIVE FAR APART, DEY EAT PEOPLE. Whatever that insane statement means- THE FACT REMAINS THAT YORUBA MEN LOVE MARRYING IGBO WOMEN. Simple. I FOR ONE KNOW HOW MANY WILL GO ONE MILE IF I SO MUCH AS GIV DEM AN INCH. Lol. tongue
lol where is stillwater I said some igbo babes get big egos and like to hear thing like " yea yoruba guys like marrying igbo babes". HAHAH

Yoruba guys like babes in general they dont even care to look for particualar tribe cause they can date a yoruba chick, calibar gal, urhobo babe, ijaw, American lady or ANY babe and do the same thing.

and I dont know any guy that is "given an inch and wont take more" - that is any non homo guy.

I dont blame chicks tho yoruba guys talk ALOT of shiot to get or try to get with babes. If a yoruba guy is dating an igbo babe he'll say all types of shiot like

" ohh beautiful igbo gals blah blah you knw i wanna marry an igbo gal"
If he dates a urhobo chick he'll say " yea mehn you urhobo babes are too much and very beautiful blah blah we go live in sapele our first pikin name go be efe"
etc.

Im a yoruba guy I DO IT ALL THE TIME.

is excanny a girl?

The babe is always talking about what yoruba guys do this n that. wtf Is it your dik? If a guy wants to impregnate other babes around then that his business. wetin concern you

Its either you are a babe or you are a small dik guy who feels the need to talk shiot about OTHER guys to babes , as if it enhances his chance of gettin babes. that GAYY and lame I think they get manliness pump for guys like you.

@topic I disagree because yorubas guys marry everyone literally regardless of tribe or religion. same with the women I know of yoruba ladies na only big deal because igbo people like to make it a big deal LOL hahah real talk tho.- you wont find many yoruba people talking about how yoruba guys are marrying non yoruba women or you wont find many yoruba people talking about about yoruba women marry non yoruba guys. cause we dont give a shiot!

Yorubas have been having children and marrying from non yorubas FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS.

na only igbo gals that like to pump themselves up as if theyre more desired than other babes from other tribes and na only igbo guys who get problem with seeing igbo babes marry any NON eastern guy. HAHAHA

LOL all jokes aside I dont know who im going to marry  my mother father yoruba and muslim married  three wives ewe, urhobo and fulani-nupe. two who converted to islam and theres no traces of christian or any non yoruba tribe in them except middle names- they dont even acknowledge their mother families.

Jabbar likes Olajuwon's style over Shaq's. (Kareem Abdul Jabbar prefers Hakeem Olajuwon's playing over Shaquille O'Neal's)

Legendary center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, whose trademark sky hook made opposing defenses tremble, recently gave current NBA center Hakeem Olajuwon his seal of approval at his old position.

Abdul-Jabbar, 47, noted he favors the play of Houston Rockets superstar center Olajuwon over the play of Shaquille O'Neal.

Speaking about the thinking behind his change of name when he converted to Islam he said to Playboy that he was "latching on to something that was part of my heritage, because many of the slaves who were brought here were Muslims. My family was brought to America by a French planter named Alcindor, who came here from Trinidad in the 18th century. My people were Yoruba, and their culture survived slavery (, ) My father found out about that when I was a kid, and it gave me all I needed to know that, hey, I was somebody, even if nobody else knew about it.
