I want to translate my documents into Italian. Please how do I go about this? Also, what is the cost of legalization per document? Thank you. |
Hello, everyone. Please tell me how to apply for a Brazilian visa. I signed up on this ec-lagos.itamaraty.gov.br/ website, but I don't see anything about the visa application here. I already filled the online application form here https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/instrucoes-iniciais-visto After this, please what do I do? Thank you. |
austino677:Thank you very much. Please for the self-employed category; CAC, and 3 other documents, which documents do you suggest I include? |
Derah17:Hello, have you been able to travel to Argentina now? If yes, please can you tell me about your visa and travel process? Thank you. |
Hello, please were you able to find the flight route and are you in Argentina now? Also, please what visa did you use and how was the application process like? Did you have to visit the embassy or were you able to just send your passport to them? Thank you. Kahbahsah: |
Please for someone who has a business what is the best way to prove that you can fund your trip and what documents do they require or what do you think I should add? |
For someone who wants to go to Brazil on a tourist visa, what is the minimum amount that you recommend for a stay of 1 month? |
berbs:I have. Thank you very much. |
You can create a new account before registering. kumbhuru: |
The status of my application is currently showing this. What does it mean? Can I go for capturing already?

peppo4live:Type something like "Curso de portugues como lingua adicional Instituto federal de Sao Paulo". The course is not only available in Sao Paulo though. You can check for the one in the city you live in. Admission usually starts 3 months before the course start date. I suggest you already start learning Portuguese on an app like DuoLingo before the course begins because the teacher would most likely teach in Portuguese even if they can speak English. However, if you are particular about English, then Sao Paulo has a course called "Portugues como lingua adicional para falantes de ingles." |
olad2020:Just do a language program at an "Instituto Federal" instead of a private school to save cost. The program would most likely be virtual but you can use it to get a student visa because the learning hours is a lot in principle. However, classes are like 2-4 hours per week then you complete the other materials by taking the course online via the Moodle learning platform. |
Hi everyone, is it allowed to do the medical examination in a local government primary health centre? |
Hi, are there any challenges of using a compound surname in Nigeria especially when filling forms? |
Not true, a married woman can choose to maintain her father's surname. Nowhere in the constitution is a married woman required to bear her husband's surname. Being married makes her a Mrs whether she is using her father's surname, her husbands own or an entirely different surname. giselle237: |
An affidavit of same name would suffice. It is basically a legalized document that states that you are the same person bearing those names. I have multiple surnames on my birth certificate but I only use one of them and I didn't have any issues with this when applying. Their main focus is your NIN actually so use what is on your NIN. jibbyfresh: |
I used Mrs and my maiden name. If someone is filling the form for you, they may want to use Miss, insist that you are Mrs. If you know you will eventually change to your husbands surname before the passport expires, I suggest you just use his surname from the get-go but this would mean you have to change it in your NIN. If you don't want the stress, just use Mrs and your father's surname like you have been doing. If one of the reasons you don't want to use your husbands surname is so your name is easily identified on your sons birth certificate, you can get another one issued if he was born in Nigeria or at the consulate of the country he was born in. Anyone here who did passport in Asaba recently? |
For those who have applied for a visa as a family, do you submit one application containing everyone's information or do you complete several applications? My husband and I with both our sisters would like to visit Brazil as we are considering it as a potential place to migrate to. The fund for the entire trip is in my husband's account which is why I am asking. If we have to complete separate applications, will we need to provide any documentation that shows he is the sponsor for the trip? |
Has anyone done passport in Akure or Osogbo recently? Did you use the DIY method or an agent? How long did it take you? |
allentee1:If you got your visa in-person, I suggest you do it here especially if you don't know Portuguese. You can fill the online form according to the consulate's instruction, print the document, upload it to the e-consular website and wait for it to be approved within the same or next working day. Then select an "interview" date. Basically, you will just give them the same documents you did online in-person and they would give you the cpf number. I have never been to Brazil or even applied for a visa yet but I got mine done here because I needed it to enroll in an online course at a Brazilian University. If you have not gone to collect your visa approval docs, just give them the printed docs the same day. When I did mine, it didn't take up to 30 minutes. |
Prinss:Yes, used an agent and captured in late October. Her passport is not ready yet. |
Anyone here who did 64pages passport in Alausa office? My husband captured on the 12th of October yet his passport is still not ready. My agent keeps saying no booklet. Is this the same issue for you or anyone you know? |
SweetOnugbo:1. NIN slip 2. Birth Certificate or Age declaration 3. Local govt certificate 4. 2 passport photographs 5. Guarantors documents: Legalised guarantor form, 1 passport photograph, biodata page of guarantor, ID card of guarantor (e.g NIN slip, drivers license, voters card) |
Jidonskii:Congratulations on finally getting your passport. Please I have a question. What was the official collection date written on your slip? |
SweetOnugbo:Collected it today. |
Nickelodeon93:The Application ID and reference number |
Prinss:No, I have not. I am asking for my sister. |
Anyone here who is doing /did their passport in Calabar recently? Do you know which of the passports is readily available? Is it 32 pages or 64 Pages? |
SweetOnugbo:Amen. Thank you |
Odosa1:Have you started the process already or the person is just saying you should chill first as there is no booklet? |
SweetOnugbo:If you go to the office directly and will get an agent there, they can provide you with a guarantor. But if you already have someone who can be your guarantor, I suggest you do all that relates to it yourself. Legalizing the filled guarantor form in a court or notary office should not cost more than 1k. Attach the passport of your guarantor on the form when you go to legalize it so they can stamp on it as well. Personally, I am still in the process of getting mine done and here is how I did it. I paid online and had all my documents ready including the guarantor form. Then, I went to the office at Alausa and approached different officers. Most were reluctant since I have everything I need but one lady agreed and collected 15k from me to FasTrack the process because I told her I need the passport in one week. I was supposed to capture the same day but I made changes on my NIN the day before that had not reflected so I captured 2 days later. Now, on the NIS portal, it says my application has been approved. According to NIS customer care, it means my application has been approved and my passport will be included for production. They gave me a date of December 6 to collect my passport in the capturing office but I am assuming that it is just for formalities and that my passport will be ready next week. In all, I only saved slightly over 10k by having all my documents ready while still using an agent (because they charge 65k for 5 years 64 Pages which is what I did). Hopefully, my passport is ready next week as planned. Lol, I know I said too much but from what I understand, you are doing something similar to what I did so I just wanted you to get a clearer picture of how it has gone for me so you can make a more informed decision. |
