FCCPC finally assign my case to an agent. Let's see if Ikeja Electric will do the needful, and how soon I will get my prepaid meter |
Minjim:People celebrate like Christmas day if they get billed N15k. 80% of the houses here get N25k to N30k electricity bills |
DelTel:Imagine! |
I've done that already. I've even petitioned NERC and FCCPC (consumer protection body) Still no positive results, the reason why I captioned my headline IKEJA ELECTRIC SEEMS TO BE ABOVE NIGERIA'S LAW |
Good morning, I am an Ikeja Electric customer. I applied for a prepaid meter some months ago, which was approved,, inspecrion of properties was done and I was instructed to pay for a single phase meter. On the 5th of June, 2020, I made a payment of N38,850 (Thirty-eight thousand, eight hundred and fifty naira only) I notified Ikeja Electric of the payment through email, so as to commence process of meter installation. Ikeja Electric replied me 4 days later that single phase prepaid meter had increased in price, from N38,850 to N48,625 (Forty-eight thousand, six hundred and twenty-five naira) I went back to make another payment of N9,420 (Nine thousand, four hundred and twenty naira only) to complete the new single phase price increase. This second payment was done on the 19th day of June, 2020. I sent an email to ikeja electric, notifying them about the second payment, with pictorial evidence of my receipts to back it up. I also demanded to know when I should be expecting the installation of the meter, which they told me Conlog CIG has been directed to effect the installation of the prepaid meter Today, 17th of July,2020 makes it 21 working days since I made the second and complete payment of N48,270 for the prepaid meter on the 19th July, 2020. The law states that prepaid meter are to be installed 10 working days after payment |

GreatResearcher1:Our Soldiers turn Voltron when they see unarmed Southern Civilians. They cower when they see their Sambisa-based mates. |
92 Chadian Soldiers got knocked out by Boko Haram and their country avenged their death. Can you state thousands of Nigerian soldiers that had been killed in the past by BH, and nothing was done about it? Instead of avenging our soldiers' death, our govt think granting foreign scholarships to their killers is the best. |
jimyjames:e This is an Aboki claiming Igbo. He's on a mission to cause bad blood between Igbo and Yoruba on this thread. That has always been their modus operandi. Ignore him and let's talk beta things, AMOTEKUN has come to stay, Abokis can buy 10 shiploads of sniper |

Mobolaji Bajk-Antyony had no biological offsprings. How come he's this liar's grandfather? Bank Anthony was married to Olamide Adeshigin, later known as Lady Bank Anthony. He belonged to a few social and business clubs in Lagos, including the Lagos Race Club, Metropolitan Club, Yoruba Tennis Club and the Nigeria-American Chamber of Commerce.[3] He was chairman of the Federal Rehabilitation Appeal Board established by Yakubu Gowon to assist Nigerians affected by the Civil War. He held the chieftaincy title of the Baloro of Lagos.a https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobolaji_Bank_Anthony |

Why are U always changing your moniker? |
There is cause for concern when the security forces that are trained, paid and charged with the protection of lives and properties of the citizens cannot even protect themselves or keep an eye on their weapons. It was a shock when reports made the rounds last night that local thieves broke into the Kobujoi Police Station of Nandi County in Kenya and made away with weapons and ammunition while the officers on duty were busy watching the champions league quarter-final tie between FC Barcelona of Spain and Manchester United of England at a nearby pub. According to the reports, all the officers on duty went to watch the match leaving the police station empty and unmonitored, not considering the fact that they had weapons and live ammunition within the premises. After the match, the officers who were either in jubilation mood or sad (depending on the team they were supporting on the night), got back to the station to discover that the office of the officer in charge which also doubles as the armory was open. As if that was not enough trouble, they went in to find out that the steel box where firearms were kept has been broken and weapons carted away with. According to their official statement, the daredevils stole three rifles, with magazines of 20 rounds of ammunition each. They left behind only two magazines with 17 and 20 rounds. The scene of the robbery was visited by the Nandi South OCPD, OCS and AP Commander who said investigations and search were underway to recover the stolen firearms and bring the suspects to book. Indeed, this will go down as one of the all-time lows in the history of the police force in Kenya. What do you think should be done to the police officers who left their duty post to watch a football match? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.africanexponent.com/amp/post/10063-thieves-steal-ammunition-and-riffles-from-police-station-while-officers-were-watching-football |
Greyfountain:I and my brother has been calling your phone since Saturday, but it has been switched off. Give me the link |
MrayNgozi:Good! The market should be shut!! Oba market in Anambra has been in ruins since ages, no meaningful business going on there. Until we learn to channel our energy to the development of Igboland, like we do in foreign lands, we'd always be 2nd class citizens in Naija. |
deomelo:I live at Agege, and I've seen a beggar washing money with a white powder. The incident happened at Oke koto, d narrow road beside Mosco Hotels, Adenle street. I initially thought it was for ritual purposes, until someone told me it was to cleanse d kafir touch on d monies (a kind of spiritual cleansing) I vowed never to give my hard earned money to a northern beggar since then |
