@scopium

well i guess its d omo-alata girls u will propose to wtout a ring,and u talk as if african girls are some piece of trash u can get anytime u want it,i guess u have never met the real african woman,who'd kick your ass when u propose to her wtout a ring
Are you sanely sane? It's most unfortunate that your worth magnified a hundred times don't qualify you to be a real african woman because a real african woman won't abuse me over an opinion I'm naturally entitled to like you did. By the way how many people have you kicked their asses when they propose to you? tongue

Hey, Nairalanders!
Why remain in the past ages for goodness' sake? Life and technology has made it possible for us to experience new possibilities. This shouldn't be different. I know a guy that's been following a lady for over three years on the phone, and is currently thinking of proposing. They love each other now, nothing is wrong with that. Is there?  undecided
Yeah there's nothing wrong with that as far as the end justifies the means

Every minute, what would u be doing? no work? undecided

@topic, communication is good but u don't have to over-crowd your partner. . . it can be frustrating sometimes.
I don't mean the over-crowding thing. I mean when one person does all the transmission thing like a radio and the other person just receives.
BusinessRe: Hotel Or Private School: Which Business Is More Profitable? by Scopium: 3:45pm On Mar 19, 2008
desertboom:
All business are good infact all business have equal potentials all things being equal ( Ceteris paribus ) depending on the location, standard and other obvious factors like; good managers and appropriate skilled workers etc. Therefore no business is better than the other considering the afore mentioned reasons above.
I think you got a point but it's not entirely true
BusinessRe: Hotel Or Private School: Which Business Is More Profitable? by Scopium: 3:43pm On Mar 19, 2008
By the way let me get it straight. What type of private school are you talking about? To build a standard university is more expensive than building standard hotel
RomanceRe: Help, I'm In Love With My Cousin's Wife's Sister! by Scopium: 3:38pm On Mar 19, 2008
PurestBoy:
You can shag hell out of her but I can't advise you to marry her, You can look very far for your own wife
Why should he SHAG the hell out of her and then look elsewhere for a wife? Would you like this treatment to be meted out on your sister?
BusinessRe: Hotel Or Private School: Which Business Is More Profitable? by Scopium: 3:35pm On Mar 19, 2008
Location is important here. I hear level of education is low in the northern part of Nigeria now would you go and set up a school there? Hell No! Hotel is more capital intensive than school and I believe also has higher profitability. Again location is important. Unfortunately my answer is based on my opinion not on facts. Anybody with facts and figures should let it down here.
RomanceRe: Marriage Proposal On Phone? by Scopium: 3:26pm On Mar 19, 2008

@scorpium

a guy can only zell a girl he loves her and wants to marry her while they are dating,it is normal,but african or no african it is only made official when the guy comes wt a ring to propose to her,proposal for mouth does not go and she is still available to accept any ring from any guy as far as im concerned
The TRUTH is typical African marriage proposal DON'T require any RING officially or unofficially. Just say it to the girl which she may accept or reject, meet her parents and folks if they accept, you get married or otherwise. NO RING INTENDED

RomanceRe: Marriage Proposal On Phone? by Scopium: 2:34pm On Mar 19, 2008
jennykadry:
that one na proposal for mouth,wey d ring?i believe d right way for a guy to propose to a girl,is by coming to her one on one,because d girl has to look into his eyes to find out if he is for real,or if he is a player,we(girls) need to see the love poking out from his face nose mouth ear, and so on
Does the typical African marriage proposal require any ring?
RomanceLove Is A Two Way Thing, Right? by Scopium(op): 2:30pm On Mar 19, 2008
Love is two way thing, right? So I believe heard, read or seen. And it's basically hinged on effective communication, right? But how can your guy/girl who doesn't text, flash or call you tell you that you are always on his/her. Can you believe that? Worse still, you don't see each other often. If you don't make a move to get in touch, he/she will never make any move for that to happen. Do you have to be by the fish pond to know that something fishy is going own? Or is there any chance that this love is in good health?
