A big thanks to wese90 for his free escrow services on a deal I had with bestbuy007 all the way from Kano to Akure. This is actually the 2nd time I am using Wese90's services and he delivered as usual. |
wolfenstein:So far the issue is not hardware, one software update suppose correct the issue later. |
wolfenstein:Have you tried updating the Display and Touchscreen drivers? |
There are still a handful of honest dealers in Nigeria @wese90 and @Theflint1 are amongst those people. @wese90 provided escrow services free of charge for the deal between me and @Theflint1. Patronise both guys with peace of mind. |

ruphytelecom:I will contact you when I am ready. Thanks. |
MartinsD12:Not my intention, I am just trying to state my experience inorder to clarify things. |
Mcslize:For the amount you're paying, you're getting arguably one of the best device compared to other devices in its class. The camera is nice and okay for the price too. Moreso, If you're a little bit adventurous, you can install a compatible GCAM module apk thanks to the fact that the device is enabled with Camera2api by default. |
MartinsD12:If you care to read any of my replies to you so far, you will see where I stated that the ads are not intrusive and can be disabled easily from the settings of any apps you see them. At the boldened, where in my replies did I tell you what to watch or not to watch anything? Like I have stated, handle and operate a Xiaomi phone first before going about stating it has annoying ads. I am typing from one and the ads are not annoying. |
Can you help get the original follow come battery for Dell Latitude E7450. |
Gptech:I guess I never paid attention to it then. Cos I have always felt only Fastboot rom could cause the overwriting. E better as I know now, before Man think say phone don dey pack up after a nice boot of flashing ![]() |
MartinsD12:I think you should take your own advice first at the boldened. I use a Xiaomi device and I am correcting a half truth you stated. An half truth can be more damaging than a lie most times. Once again, the ads ain't annoying and it can be easily disabled from the settings of the apps that they show. You will have to use one of their models to know this and not just take everything you read and watch from supposed "tech gurus" as the gospel truth on this case. |
MartinsD12:Good thing you stated you "heard" here. Kindly find a way to operate any of their models before you post something like this again. The ads that shows on Xiaomi phones are not intrusive like the ones that covers the whole screen and prevents you from operating your device and they only show on Xiaomi's stock apps like music, browser, file manager etc. Moreso, you can disable the ads from the settings of these apps. |
olayinkajnr:The mi pad 4 has an LTE version that supports 4G only. |
GrandMufti:Except things have changed on newer models or I never took notice, through my soujourn of flashing different types of rom with my Custom recovery(including stock recovery rom), it has never overwritten my custom recovery. Na Fastboot rom dey overwrite everything from my experience. I might put it to test and check sha. We learn everyday. |
jboixxx:I have had to double check again to understand the message thoroughly by checking previous messages by other monikers on the initial request by another member of the group. The question is, does Recovery roms come embedded with stock recovery? No they don't. I think that should be Fastboot roms. What I am saying is that flashing a stock recovery rom with a custom recovery won't change your custom recovery back to stock recovery. Flashing fastboot rom with Miflash is what will change it. And to @genuis43 question, it's actually a good question. Note: This is just an attempt to clarify things not an argument. |
genius43:Search and download the Stock recovery file online and flash through the custom recovery already on the phone or through fasboot method. However, the safest and cleanest method is by flashing a stock fastboot rom through Miflash tool. If data to download full fastboot rom is a problem then the first method might suffice. |
samistry:The bundled charger is 10W rated. To get fast charge, you will need to get a fast Charging rated Charger e.g 18W rated ones. |
Well MTN might have been secretly using Band 3 for a long time now. One thing to note is that Band 20 seems to easily take over from this band whenever available. So, it is actually hard getting a lockdown on Band 3 when Band 20 is available and strong.

shosky1794:I have seen the latest version too, but I am skeptical on flashing the rom for now. If the new files you are referring to are those 2 files I stated in my previous reply, you will need to flash the 11.0.5.2 version before you can flash either of those two files depending on what you prefer. One is for performance while the other is for better Battery backup. |
@shosky1794, the developer of that rom is taking a new direction in the implementation of his rom thanks to two additional flashable files he uploaded on the 1st of this year. These recovery flashable files are about 200MB+ and as he stated are like OTA update to add extra features to the rom, just that you can't download them through the normal OTA process. |
GrandMufti:According to the developer, the initial instructions for flashing the previous version must be followed. Wiping cache and Dalvik alone might result in conflicts of newly ported features with old ones. |
shosky1794:I am not really noticing any screen flickering, maybe it's just me cos I have seen a lot of people complain generally about this bug on ported MIUI roms for Note 4. Concerning radio not playing over the loudspeaker I guess you need to either plug in an earphone for the first time and restart the radio app or wipe the cache/data of the radio app. Bluetooth is working as it should on my phone. I will advise you try and re-install the rom following the instructions judiciously i.e. wipe system/cache/data/ dalvick and vendor before flashing the rom. Don't forget to wipe cache after installation too. |
genius43:I go add my own on Saturday make I dey observe for now! |
Happy Birthday @gidieberry, wish you more wins ahead. |
shosky1794:I await your feedback. |
