NOTE
1) Not all light skinned Nigerian girls do bleach.

2) So, if a light skinned lady deserves the crown with her combination of beauty and brain, they should give award to a dark skinned ladyl 'cos we are promoting our colour. undecided Pfft!

...and the most annoying thing is tribalist shouting 'Igbo girls are beautiful'.

If the girl is beautiful,"does that mean you're also beautiful(for people who are not tho' grin)"?

Let's call a spade a spade. Mtchew

Another fellow was talking about beautiful fulani girls. Nonsense.

Do you think MBGN and Miss World is all about beautyhuh
dude we are both Nigerians, MBGN is biased towards light skinned girls. Nigerian men are biased. The whole damn world is biased towards light skinned girls. We need to purposely reverse the thinking. Its the conditioning brought about by colonialism, slavery etc to think beauty is bright.

I agree with some other thing you said though. Quite a witty fellow you are.

pazienza: No bleaching cream bro. Girls from defunct Eastern region( Igbo, Akwa ibom,Cross river,Rivers) have a good number of them naturally light skinned.

Iheoma's skin colour looks natural, not denying the fact that some of them bleach.
i know Iheoma's skin is natural. im saying give the beautiful dark skinned babes recognition too before they start bleaching to attract it

Politics › ‘militants Would Head Back To The Creeks Than Allow Oil Money Develop North' - by scribble(op): 10:06am On Jul 18, 2014
Leader of the Niger Delta People Salvation Front, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo has said that Niger Delta militants are prepared to head back to the creeks over the contentious issues of derivation and resource control at the National Conference.

“We are stating that going back to the creeks may be inevitably preferable, rather than allow for the wealth of our people to be used to develop or rehabilitate a parasitic, barren yet ignorantly arrogant North.

“We are ready to mobilise our people from across the Niger Delta and even in Diaspora to stand up for definite showdown and direct action. The North must no longer be sustained at our expense. Our God-given resources belong to us and not Nigeria. The end of Lugard’s Nigeria is now,” spokesman of NDPSF, Rex Anighoro said in a statement.

“Let us state very emphatically that irrespective of the final determination of the national conference, our minimum expectation and demand as a people remains 100 per cent control of our resources or nothing.

“The national conference can go on and propose even 100 states, agree to rehabilitate and develop areas ravaged by insurgency and internal conflicts, agree to develop solid mineral resources and whatever, but let it be known that not a dime of the resources of the people of the Niger Delta should be factored into this odious compromise.

“It has now come to a definitive moment to demand the abolishment, henceforth, the sustenance of the barren states of Nigeria with the resources of the Niger Delta in the name of monthly allocation amongst others,” he added.

Politics › Presidency Moves To Repair Apapa Road by scribble(op): 8:41am On Jul 18, 2014
The Federal Government has moved to repair the badly damaged Apapa road.

Professor Sylvester Monye, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Monitoring and Implementation, disclosed this at the end of a meeting with the maritime stakeholders in Lagos.

He said the President had grown disturbed over a multitude of phone calls he had received on the issue.

Monye said the situation got so bad that businesses, including port operations, were affected as man-power and revenue were being lost as a result of the traffic gridlock.

Monye also said a new call-up system for tankers and articulated vehicles will be re-introduced with a view to monitoring the movement of such vehicles into the Apapa area.

Besides the agreement by maritime stakeholders to move their vehicles out of Apapa, the government is also considering going into partnership with land owners within Ogun State to build truck parks.

It was further agreed that after all the vehicles would have been moved out of Apapa, the contractor will move to site and the road would be repaired within two weeks.

Monye reiterated that the road was not a park but was made for everybody to use.

He said: “The road is not their park. Federal Government would not provide truck park for them.

“Does anybody provide truck park for Ekene Dilichukwu and the Young Shall grow? Everybody provides their parks, so why are we being held to ransom?

“We want to cooperate with them by assisting them. It does not necessarily mean that it is the responsibility of the Federal Government. They are there to make money; they should take care of themselves.

“What we need to do is to get rid of the trucks to enable the contractor get to work.”

freecocoa: Imagine, the truth is I think she lives with this guy if not I don't see what would give him the guts to say that, even at that sef, if its insecurity why not go with her as she suggested? To me I see it as a controlling man wanting to flex his muscles and that can't happen with me.
sometimes men just do it to make sure that their women is submissive and also because he feels threatened by the other guy or just wants to spite the mofo

if you were in his shoes with the same scenario and a girl that he is close too, would you not also tell him not to go...i know the threat is next level ish, but u should respect his wishes the same way u would want him to respect urs...because if u dont, gloves are off...if my babe disrespected me like that, i would not say anything...i'd just be more relaxed planning and playing away games...and when she gets mad...i'd tell her "why are u mad? u started this game na"

donphilopus: Guy, we know all this. What you need to know is that the said girl couldn't gain admission into Unilag (her 1st choice) to study medicine. Now the question is: “How would a girl who couldn't gain admission to study medicine in Unilag later graduate with a CGPA of 4.99 in a private university?” I wouldn't like to judge anyways, because Unilag may have denied her the admission (not that she didn't perform well).

My major concern is the way about 90% of people graduating annually from these private universities make 2.2 and above. It can never happen in a state or private university!
you still dont get the point....that she didnt pass jamb is not an indicator for future success rate...i tried to study literature arts in school first and flunked...and then i started again with an Economics relatedd course and left with a 2.1.

Everyone thought I'd flunk because i didnt pass common literature

fact is the girl may have a scientists brain and that computer science is another chewing gum course...

whatever the case past performance is not always an accurate indication of future results...surely you realize this

GoodBoi1: 4.99?! Is that possible in federal universities? 4.99?! I guess the standards are different.
in federal unis all students want to do is flex, party, pansh etc

in public universities there is a conducive atmosphere for learning

u dont have to bribe or sleep with lecturers for good grades...

ive seen students bribe 300k in private school and come out with thirdie

so its federal schools that have the lower standards
