Mehn cjeck out the comments on that dailymail site, people are doubting his age. This age cheating has given us bad name, even when we present truly young players, their ages are doubted. It's keeping top clubs away from our players. |
He is living up to his Igbo name. Iheanacho means what they are looking for. Clubs will be looking for him after this tournament. |
You guys don't know how many doors a clean jeep and a well starched shirt can open for you. I am sure the man had a plan |
The OP of this thread is a big îdiot for making me miss this match. Why give out time you aren't sure of? |
ifyalways: Direct that your question to "scun".It applies to you, he simply meant you should stay in your country and make things work instead of constituting nuisance in other countries. Yes, you are hated in Ghana and other African countries. |
There is nothing mysterious about it, they are just trying to create publicity. Later they will reveal what it is actually about. I think the media houses are cooperating with whoever they are. |
Afam4eva: Don't Nigerian die in their country? How many Ghanaians or foreigners have died in Nigerian secondary schools? Stop going where you are hated. |
Nigerians learn how to stay in your country more. |
How predictable! The thread has gone tribal. |
chieflowo: I hereby move for his suspension.See relationship na. PMSL! |
I thought Kwara had 16 LGAs?? |
secondary school teachers deserve all those entitlements in the agreement far more than lecturers. Our lecturers don't do shît. |
alubeze1: The demands are outrageous, no doubt. But if our political leaders are the highest paid in the world, then why can't our educationist also be the highest paid in world? After all, education is the bedrock of every society, and if the workers are paid well, they will be motivated to teach well. All thesame, ASUU and fg should renegotiate. If our educationists have to be the highest paid in the world, ot has to be secondary and primary school teachers. Majority of our lectureres are just like your average civil servant, they do absolutely nothing! |
What does this mean? Already making conclusions? Adisa419: All those excuses given on her |
Wsdm: [s]I pity the poor Nigerian army been killed everyday for an ungrateful country called Nigeria.A failed attempt at making sense. |
Desola: I suppose you were speaking for yourself when you said "Yoruba people get married to ibos", when you said "Yorubas and ibos mingle on a daily basis in the real world. I suppose you didn't concern yourself with the affairs of the Ijebu in Yorubaland in he eventual disintegration of Nigeria. You were speaking for your self all along, weren't you? It's either you are just being your plain disingenous self paying homage to the traits of your ethnic stock or a cell has died in your brain. So you found your voice again? I am still waiting for proofs of your earlier assertions. Bloody liar! |
People should learn how to speak for themselves alone. That's my own. |
sCun: I can't believe what I am reading! Prove that I am a liar and you are not.Can it be safe to say we now know who the real liar is? |
Midastouch1: So Csun, I assume you cannot answer my question above? GoodnightI just saw the question now. The answer is yes. Hope it makes you sleep well hahaha. |
Desola: Now you have provided that not only are you a waste of time but a waste of space and you have gone ahead to provide proof that we cannot in any way, shape or form continue to co exist. Lying is like a second skin to people from your part of the world. You see red and bold faced call it white! How anyone or group would want to live with your likes beat me!I can't believe what I am reading! Prove that I am a liar and you are not. We are online, provide proof that OHANEZE said anything about oily soup, provide proof that Peter Obi or Adaobi as you called him said anything about Lagos being a no man's land. If you can't provide the proofs, then we know who the real liar is. |
Desola: I suppose your governor, ada obi who said Lagos is a no man's land was not elected and your traditional leaders are just figure heads. I suppose you were indisposed when ohaneze called us oily soup.Ohaneze never said anything like that, get your facts right. Why are you even so pained about that soup ish? You keep repeating it. As for Peter Obi, I am not aware of him saying anything like that, provide proofs. |
If we are to go by what we see on Nairaland, somewhere like Lagos would have been at war by now. Instead the Igbos and Yorubas are busy going about their businesses, trying to get a better life. How many of them even have time to spare on Nairaland? |
ndu_chucks: Oga, your primary frame of reference, NL, is too narrow and elitist.I didn't even see this before I replied him. That is the main problem, using Nairaland to judge. Mostly posts from the same people with different IDs. Very funny |
Desola: Even if we were to agree that Nairaland is not up to 0.5% of the general population, the numbers represented here is a representation of the people regardless. While I cannot speak for the whole of the Yoruba nation, I can make observation and use nairaland; other online forums and social network including my personal interaction with my people offline as a gauge. I bet even you yourself cannot claim to know the general opinion of the country because you can never know. Can you tell me the elected leaders of Igbo land who have come out to make utterances? The utterances you read or heard aren't different from that of Fani Kayode, personal opinions. |
Midastouch1: I beg to differ. How many Igbos did you see on the streets calling Wole Soyinka a mad man, how many Igbos did you see on the streets carrying placards with the words ''Lagos is no man's land'' written on it? Nairaland is really messing up with your minds and brains, I repeat, life does not end here. As for the stats it's clear, the unique active members on Nairaland is no more than 500 000, the rest are alternate handles. I know of some people with over 10 accounts on Nairaland, our population is over 150 million, so do the math. |
ndu_chucks: In addition to the said 'powers that be', we have over 100 million ordinary Nigerians without access to the internet like you and I, who do not support breaking up or war, but prefer to be given more opportunities to cater for their families in peace. They are the silent majority of Nigerians. That is what people like Desola do not understand, they come here pretending to speak for all Nigerians or people of a particular tribe. Nairaland members isn't even up to 0.5% of Nigeria's population, considering the alternate accounts. |
Desola: No doubt that there are a handful of Yoruba ibo marriages taking place but that does not stop the ibo traditional leaders coming out to call a whole region "amala and oily soup people", now does it? Even after Nigeria breaks up, there would be inter marriages but if you are not being disingenous like you always are, then going by the general pulse of the nation and the stupid stereotypes we have created for one another, it is clear as day that we do not like each other. If you are not prepared to take my word for it in the real world, this site is filled to the brim with evidence that we cannot continue to co-exist. I bet that should I take the trouble of perusing your post history, I would find some generalisations about Yoruba people. It goes beyond marriage alone, there are Igbos and Yorubas doing things together in all facets of life without any hatred whatsoever. If you don't like Igbos state it clearly, there are also Igbos on this same thread who clearly do not like Yorubas, but making sweeping statements like ''we do not like each other'' is absolutely wrong. Like I said before, speak for yourself. Life does not end on Nairaland. You need to step out more. |
