Intrepid01:This is some good stuff Bro. Thanks for making me laugh so hard, this early. |
. |
einsteine:True... But I got in after 10days. |
JohnXcel:Hiya, Yeah... It's still good. Expérience is great to a large extent, cos I have an awesome account manager. |
sweetveee:Sorry to hear that... I understand the feeling. Perhaps, you should take more drastic steps. They need to show proof you signed and collected the item or something. |
Uhhhh, thanks Fola... Not for the "OP" though |
Seeing I'm online.... To close this topic... I did get the phone the weekend after my last post. The dispatch guy informed me they told him to deliver my package first, and didn't let him leave until he had picked up mine... Said he didn't understand why mine was so important. Anyway, they called later, and apologised for the late delivery, and sent me a voucher for the bad service. They also apologised for not responding to my mails. Said might have been lost in migration. So to all those guys saying I was impatient and shit, I guess they knew the matter more than jumia and I. I appreciated their effort in damage control. So if you have issues, don't keep quiet...speak up!!! Speaking up does wonders! P. S: Don't ask for the voucher... It's not transferable ![]() |
So I got the most unusual request at our consulting firm today. A client's rep called in, and said his boss is looking for a single lady of 30yrs or less. She should be a doctor, (as he is one) so they can run his hospital together. He also owns a pharmacy. Nothing was said specifically on tribe and such. (the lady) Bit about him: He's in his late 40's Has 3 kids His wife is late. He's from Akwa Ibom If interested, send me a PM. We'll arrange a meet ASAP. (Preferably in PH now) He's very serious. Took real effort not to laugh at work though. If you aren't a doctor, and still feel like contacting me, no problem. P. S: I'll be in Ogun next week, and Lagos after that...so if in those regions, and would like to meet up, do let me know. Regards. |
blessedjohny4u:You don't even have a website |
dealslip:Leave that very dull guy. Until he's in that kind of situation, he will come here are start weeping. |
wolesmile:He interviewed him. Wasn't a private chat. Thanks to Nike |
chymes0359:Omg what is wrong with you....you had me laughing anyhow this morning |
A lot of people asking if he drove on water. Used to wonder when I was a kid as well. How it works is very simple... When they get to say the Mediterranean, they cross to África, usually with a ferry.... Else a barge or ship, and the journey continues. |
Update: Spoke with them on phone, and I am told it left Lagos for Port Harcourt, 3 days ago, and it hasn't gotten to the warehouse here. I'm just wondering if Lagos has shifted to where Pretoria is or it's Lagos, Portugal. On the 26th, it will be a month. Hopefully, package will be received this weekend. |
nenergy:Thank you for your explanation. Talk to your people. Let them use you to replace them if they are tired. Lol |
cjeriia:I like you, because you rushed to comment, without looking at the screenshot, where timeframe was given. Besides, if you read my post, you would understand what my issue with them is. Try to read to understand, rather than to argue. Thanks |
msturE:Konga doesn't handle global sales, I think. I might be wrong though. I've used them locally before, and it was okay... doesn't mean something like this might not happen though. But among the two, I just seem to hear more complaints about Jumia. |
chrisja:It worked for you doesn't imply it's working for others. There are many issues, and yeah you are right... I'm bothered about the communication issue. It's easy to tell me to chill, when you aren't the one in my shoes. You have no idea about what it could have cost me. So yeah, I have a right to call them out and complain...then maybe they will address the areas that need to be looked at. Even many independent importers address concerns and keep you updated, why not a company as big as them? |
Lol. Why are you smiling everywhere....chief video |
guru03:Hmm. Wow. Scary. Hopefully, mine won't be like that. Hopefully, they see this and offer better support. |
See attachment. It's pretty clear. It says 8-15 days, not working days. Besides, my issue is communication. It's too shabby. For those that need to know, the information has been passed. P.S: they are saying the item isn't in their warehouse.... the guy didn't seem sure enough of if it is in Asia or it has left for PH....said should be in next week. Henry007 yeah it has elapsed. And nah, not complaining about paying before. I won't have bothered, if it was pay on delivery. |
So i have been hearing quite a number of people rant about Jumia's delivery, quality or customer care. Well I am just experiencing it. Placed an order via Jumia Global on the 26th of August, I was contacted on the 29th, that I will receive my order 8-15days, starting from the day I got that mail. Previously, I got responses to queries within hours, now, it's been three days, and they have refused to respond to multiple e-mails. Guess that's because I have already made payment (No pay on delivery for their global offerings) With all their years of experience and size, one would expect better from them. Perhaps, they don't understand it's not all about spending millions on ads. Customer service/satisfaction plays a significant role in keeping a business relevant. So if you need a product quickly and on schedule, I think It's wise for you to think twice, before placing that order....or at least, Jumia Global. Seems they are still using customers to test run the service.

Success is measured in different ways and means different things to different people. For some, it is making a lot of money, for others, it’s seeing their kids going on to succeed, or their protégés become real success stories. Success attracts attention. It attracts people, and it attracts more success in time. Theoretically, no one wants to be a failure. Everyone wants to be attracted to a success, but are you actually consciously working hard to increase the odds of that turning to reality? Everyone....well most people love a good story. My mind, my heart, my soul and my being is dedicated to being a success. I go hard and I go all in- and I’m on the road to being a success, with the Lord by my side. I can make it....and even if I don’t get to the end zone, I would have found bits of happiness along the way. Like they say, we shoot for the moon, so even if we fall, we fall among the stars. I challenge you this day to rise up and actually do something for yourself. Make a conscious effort to strive to be a success, and paint that picture you always dreamt of as a kid. If you dared not to dream, well it isn’t too late to start dreaming either. You being on your way to success makes me to be a success and gives me that sense of fulfillment. I can only wish you the best. |
meneski:Thanks, really appreciate |
We only have one life to live. Many go through life focusing on what’s not important. For some reason I am yet to understand, we always seem to be in a hurry(myself included)....man made deadlines, reputations/expectations to live up to, people to take care of, and what have you. True happiness can only come, when you screw what anyone says and do what you really want to do. If travelling around the world is what gives you peace and joy, why not take a gap year and do just that? It might mean taking a position with lesser pay, and people will most likely think you have gone crazy for seemingly taking a step backwards, but imagine the peace and rest of mind that comes with that. Stop living for people and live for you; there is a time to take care of others, and there's also a time to look out for yourself first. If your head isn't right, how can you be of any good to others? You could be dead by the end of the year, month, this week, tomorrow, heck, even today. When the end comes, will you be at peace with your choices? We work so hard to make a living, but yet most of us aren't actually living; advanced zombies with briefcases and backpacks we are. If you dropped dead today, what happens to all that cash? If you burn out, what’s next? At the end of the script, would you be pleased at how well the movie ended? It might not be every time, but sometimes, it's perfectly fine to sit back, throw your hands in the air, and just chill. Say to yourself.....amma stay true, and amma do me! Trying to be someone else makes you just a copy, and who says how good a replica you will be. There can be only one original, and who can do that better than you? Here's to your inner peace, rest of mind and true happiness. Cheers to you for nursing the thought, taking a step and actually doing you. More from me lifeesbelle.com. I'm basically the one that write on self development, a better you and growth, so I won't be hard to miss. |
