He was Governor of Kwara from 2003-May 29 2011.. And he became a Senator from 2011-till date....... He was the Chairman senate committee on Environment during GEJ's tenure.....

Okorocha and Orji Uzor Kalu are both first time senators and non ranking. They can’t be presiding officers. Senator Ahmed Lawan from Yobe is the leading candidate for senate president while Femi Gbajabiamila is the leading candidate for speaker.

Okorocha is not a first timer in the Senate... He was in the senate between 1999-2007 before becoming the Imo state governor.

Senator Mohammad Ali Ndume, the senator representing Borno South at the National Assembly, has expressed satisfaction over the defeat of the Senate President Bukola Saraki at last Saturday's National Assembly polls.

Ndume spoke after he won reelection into the red chamber on Monday evening, in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

According to Ndume, “Saraki played God during his tenure as Senate President of 8th Assembly”.

He continued: “Maybe this will remind Saraki that there is God. Once you try to play God, God will react. Saraki played God, and he has now seen how God reacted.

"Saraki took things for granted; this is the consequence of taking things for granted."

He also thanked the people of Borno for voting for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the polls, and restated the commitment of the APC administration to “continue the good works they have started”.

On the PDP's rejection of the presidential and National Assembly results, Ndume added: "There is no result yet; there is only collation of results. So, I don't know what PDP has come out to reject.

"I am surprised PDP has shown desperation about this election right from the beginning. There is nothing they can tell Nigerians. In a free and fair election, they can't win. PDP complained on issues; APC campaigned on issues.”

I saw one online voting stuff where Atiku had won with close to 70 million votes, imagine people are even dooing multiple voting online just to prove their candidate is more popular and they refused to turn up during real voting.

I was so Pissed here in Port harcourt on saturday when i saw young guys always complaining of Buhari, but on election day they were playing soccer on the expressway and they retired to a bar beside the road and they drank to stupor... Just yesterday we were talking about the election and they said it was rigged in the north and i told them RIGGING KILL YOU THERE

That's a lie.... As at 5:00AM all Polling Units in Kano were already filled up with Voters.... Even in Bauchi My cousin sent me Pictures of People Using stone and other symbols to queue...
But here in the South we are sitting in our compounds drinking,Playing Soccer and we forgot that we need to go out and Vote... Imagine states like Rivers,Delta,Anambra and Akwa-ibom can't record 60% voters accreditation not to talk of voting.... We shot ourselves in the leg with our Nonchalant attitudes
