That is not the recommended oil by the manufacturer, but you should try and change oil and filter every 2,000 miles.

1. Little overheating 2GR is gone.

2. 3MZ is more Fuel economy then the 2gr. NO NO NO

3. 3MZ is easier to maintain then 2gr.

4. With the premium features in lexus plus 3MZ engine I do advise op to go for ES330.

MY PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE.

2GR is better than 3MZ in fuel economy and durability.
