They were arrested the day they stormed the residence of Mrs. Fabolude Jimoh, of 21, Fabolude Bus Stop, Akute, Ojodu Road in Ogun state and nine other houses. They robbed the occupants of the houses at gun point. Sources said a leader of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) who tried to arrest them was shot several times by the robbers in the course of the operation, but that the man escaped unhurt while the robbers later fled with their loot. They were, however, trailed to their hideout at Ijoko, Ogun state, where they were arrested. The police found in their possession a locally made gun with an empty shell, 12 live cartridges, two laptops and other items they stole. The two Bajaj motorcycles with registration numbers AV 504 AAA and OG 606 KSF they used for the operation were also recovered. Speaking with P.M.NEWS, one of the robbers, Taiwo Odunsi, said: “It’s painful that all these juju prepared for us by a herbalist in Lagos state have failed to protect us. We coughed out N380,000 for them and yet the police arrested us.” The case was later transferred to Eleweran Police Command, Ogun state, where the suspects were charged to court and sent to prison. The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Ogun state Command, Alhaji Hashimu Salihu Argungu, who confirmed the arrest, advised the public to always volunteer useful information to the police on how to combat criminal activities in their areas. The command spokesperson, ASP Muyiwa Adejobi, also confirmed the arrest and arraignment of the suspect. http://thepmnews.com/2009/04/01/arrested-robbers-lament-%e2%80%98our-juju-failed-us%e2%80%99 Anini spirit. Hahah~`Yall are crazy!!
at least you could mention the current culture of letting foreigners run virtually everything in your country The total disorganization of schools , lawlessness and abject poverty after the civil war which is still ongoing The class distinction between the minority slave settlers from America (who regard themselves as superior) and the majority indegenious population such that many claim to be from the "slave settling lineage" rather than indigenous.
Those are not cultural or traditional ways.I left Liberia when I was 13 but I do catch up on my country news from allafrica.com.I did read a thing or 2 about the Chinese building railroads, etc. All I want is for Liberia to get better and since the civil war things have been improving. ![]() |
Remii:That is a funny titile.Give me the 411 about it?? |
If you saw the G-20 live from London, what did U think about it? I forgot to TIVO it before I left for school. When I came home to catch bits of it,Anderson Cooper only talked about what gift Obama gived the queen,Why the Queen has handbags,Queen this and Queen that. If you watched it~~~~ What leader did the best? Do you think it was right for the leaders to blame the US for the recession?? |
TEAM A:538 A is winning ooo |

wrong section!! |
DeReloaded:NOT REALLY~~~Unless your parents are from the village then they will explain the different traditions. Most Liberians living in the city could care less about cultural and traditional ways. They do what they want to do.Like I stated before,I did not even know what tribe I was till last year.Tribes, traditions, etc do not seem important to the ordinary Liberian. That is just how it is. |
Well, why would U want to give me an advice that I never asked for in the first place?? |

Heck NO.I hate Nursing Homes. My church members and I went there to visit a senior church member before and the place smells HORRIBLE.**My mother will live with me when she gets 2 old to live alone** Moonstone:~~and what if they are 2 old to live on their own ![]() |
Why do U care so much what advice he gives me?? |
DeReloaded:I grew up in the city so I will not know about these various cultural ways.Liberians that grew up in the city have no idea about these things because culture ways are not known or practice in the cities only in the interior aka the village.Cultural ways or tribes are not taken seriously in the cities. If you asked that question to a village gal she will have the answer. If you ask the same question to a gal from the city she will have no idea.Plus,I did not even know my tribe until last year so I wont know about cultural ways that they are known for. |
Yesterday WLDY go swimming in the lake?? |
What should I do if I get pissed of at the truth?? |
