Ibime: All these polls don't matter.
What matters is the no of electoral votes each candidate is projected to win.
28% of Americans are Republican but a lot of these Republicans are concentrated in the South and Bible belt and are only chasing the same electoral votes.
Obama is currently expected to win 301 electoral votes.
McCain is expected to win 224.
There are another 160 which are up in the air, therefore we will see strong campaigning in the marginal states - Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, etc. Yes, Electoral Votes was the reason bush won in 04. Kerry got the popular vote. |

onyinye2: The World wants Obama to loose. Power corrupts all those who inhabit it. Obama is viewed as a Saint. Someone who will bring change to the residents of USA. If by a chance he is voted into office, power will slip its spell unto him. It happens to everybody. See Martin Luther King Jr. A man of great honor. A man who helped his people to finally be able to reach that American Dream. A man who held much power unto his name. A man who committed adultery time and time again. A man who took advantaged of his name, and used it for his pleasure. If it can happen{corruptness} to Martin, it will surely happen to Obama. WHO? MLK? |

that is why it is called pathologic hatred. another way to describe the hatred may have been idiopathic hatred, meaning, hatred of unknown origin . . . but hatred all the same HAHA!! OKAY!!! savanaha: I can understand where he is coming from. Even though this is all politricks she is too cut throat which is a typical "am he only woman in my field' syndrome. It saddens me to say this but she say and do whatever it takes to win and she is a sore loser. She was asked what she will do about her (racist) voters who, are angry with Obama because she lost to him, want to vote for McCain and she said "I am doing all I can." With the most sinical look on her face. I really think she wants Obama to loose but God is not gonna let it happen. |

I did not watch it on BET. I watched it on CNN and after it was over I was switching through channels and I saw them showcasing it. It was so crazy because the DNC broadcast was not in HD. It looked like someone was using their Camcorder to broadcast it.
I agree with you on BET, I read what someone said about BET on line and it was so darn true.
"Dude, after watching BET, I realized that I never have to get a real job because America is racist. It's much easier to just collect unemployment and stare at my "Free Mumia" poster because something bad happened to my ancestors somewhere, sometime." |

merge: He is not black.
Actually, I prefer if he loses
He is claiming black to get black votes and to make history.
He is the first black and white president.
Only a 100% Black men can say he is BLACK.
My opinion. That has gotta be one of the most ridiculous shit I have ever read. If Obama was born during slavery, He was going to be lynch as any other black men. Black mix with anything is BLACK. He doesn't need to claim that he is black because he IS. STOP BEING RIDICULOUS!!! |

Cayon: and taking an African name. My name is a "slavery" name. After researching my last name - it came from a White Slave owner originated from England/german. When people meet me in person, they are shocked because my name and my color/feature does not match. I am searching the Internet to find a name but I need one that has a "strong meaning" OKay. Are U gonna tell us the slavery name? |

HIROSHI: Thank God for America, that has given us choice to vote liberally, otherwise how can a sane adult in 2008 think of voting John McBushPalin? I bow my head in unbelief and shame.
If we were talking about Mike Hukabee here it could be understandable but McCain over Obama, it is like comparing a giant, old and tired pussycat(McCain) to a young but strong and agile lion cub(Obama). Which has the better promise for bringing home more meat? The latter anyday!
Barrack Obama has my vote. LMAO!!! |
It is welfare and it is the wrong social mindset when Black radio stations do nothing all day long beside entertainment and gift prizes. Handing out monetary prizes for matching an artist to the track you just heard or ; when you give the correct answer to the question *who was the famous singer of the group known as supremes that went on to become a solo performer? Hint - her initials are DR. * you win $500 cash.
When you tune in on White radio stations you hear programs that challenge their children to think critically. Puzzles, spellings, geography and so on. They don't give cash awards. You know why? Because its taxable and they don't want tax liability on their children for exercising and demonstrating knowledge!!! They give them t-shirts, mugs, hats, tokens and souvenirs. It's not that I hate Dems, its just that Dems don't ask questions and don't demand accountability.
I was surprise that BET only showcase the DNC. They keep on stressing the idea that everyone should vote for OBABA. Why cant they tell everyone to look at what the candidate stands for and make a choice.
What do U mean by the statement in BOLD? |
