humilitypays: This is the simple solution but useless APC government won't do that, instead they are busy writing petition to WHO to stop western countries from recruiting Nigerian healthcare professionals claiming that we don't have enough Doctors, Nurses, etc which made WHO to place Nigeria on red list of "do not recruit" making it difficult for Nigerian healthcare professionals now to secure job abroad from Nigeria, whereas we have more than enough idle, jobless, unemployed youths we can encourage to study medical related courses and export them abroad.
APC and their useless leaders are a curse to Nigerian, no innovative or creative thinking, they just want every Nigerian to remain in Nigeria and suffer their mismanagement and misrule You people will blame APC for everything. Who do Una this obidients? You use the time u will use to better your life to start abusing and supporting politicians who never know of your existence. Continue. Did the APC you are talking about the people that ruled Nigeria from 199 to 2015? Focus on the topic and leave politics for political section. |

ShenTeh: My wife and I were just discussing this just 2 nights ago.
This is very true.
I have also stated that human capital export is possibly one of the Industries that our government need to tap into.
With over 200m population, our universities need to increase the number of people admitted to study medicine.
A country like the UK does not even have enough young ones who are willing to study medicine, and they'll throw anything at such a gesture, yet Nigerian universities keep discouraging our younger ones.
Apart from the local demand for medical practitioners, the international demand is heavier. I believe the universities' quota systems should be expanded. This is the simple solution but useless APC government won't do that, instead they are busy writing petition to WHO to stop western countries from recruiting Nigerian healthcare professionals claiming that we don't have enough Doctors, Nurses, etc which made WHO to place Nigeria on red list of "do not recruit" making it difficult for Nigerian healthcare professionals now to secure job abroad from Nigeria, whereas we have more than enough idle, jobless, unemployed youths we can encourage to study medical related courses and export them abroad. techgurl12: Hello house, My case is kind of funny as I haven't read any post about it.
I graduated with a 2.1degree in accounting from UNIBEN in 2014. However, I only worked for one year in an hotel as a cashier and resigned due to the meager pay. Getting a well paying job was hard for me, I decided to embrace freelance work in 2016. Ever since till date, I have been working remotely as a blog writer from home. I really want to know my chances of getting a student visa to study for an MBA program.
Due to your study gap (the year you graduated), Career Progression is your best shot. That is, go for a Post Graduate Certificate Program at a Canadian College in something related to your work experience (blog Writer) e.g. - Digital Marketing - creative writing- Public Relations - Journalism - Web Development - Strategic Marketing Communications - DIGITAL MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS etc..... As regards the aspect of Career Progression, a Visa officer will be more convinced if you go with this.. |

Me: I submitted a very competitive application. I took a duolingo test where i scored 135, I wrote an essay on social inclusion of women in Nigeria using Chimamanda Adiche and I had an interview with two professors from my department. VO was just looking at me.
How many Schools did you apply to : I said three and all gave me admission but I chose South Dakota state university because of its interdisciplinary approach to literature and robust Curriculum , I won't just be taking literature but I will also be taking creative writing, professional editing courses and this course will help me the expertise that I need to become a Writer (I actually applied to 10 Schools, three rejections, two waitlisted me. I got three funded offers, awaiting decision from others)
Vo : Where do you work again Me :I answered again with my company name, I want to start with my Job description again She said it's fine.
VO: Are you married Me: I said No, but I am engaged and We will be getting marry in May
VO: Do you have any kid Me :No
VO : Will he be coming with You
Me: I said No, because he is very busy at work Wand won't be joining me
VO: Who will be covering my deficit
Me : My dad will be covering my deficit and he makes an annual income of 40million. He is a Comercial farmer. He has two acres of lands that he uses for fish farming and live stock farming '. He has been supportive and he was even the one who encouraged me to apply. VO just dey look me and nodding head.
Then she picked the white paper and said Your visa will be ready in one week.

Good afternoon ,Canadian study visa gurus ,ive been following this thread for a while and I'm finally ready to begin my journey , Before the end of this month I will be applying to Durham college for a 4year degree course in journalism and creative writing ,I'm worried because on their website it says that resumption date is in may ,and I'm not sure how long it will take to get admission , and I've seen some people who have applied for visa almost six months no decision ,I feel the time isint enough, also on the website it says that the deposit is 500 CAD ,But someone on this platform who got admission into Durham was told to pay the full amount ,I thought we would at least pay half ,then when I arrive I would pay the rest, but I would appreciate any advice or suggestion anybody has that can assist me ,also anybody who has applied to Durham or has gotten admissions please text ,I would like to ask you some questions. Thanks in advance |
