You're even bringing frivolity into the conversation, claiming University was on strike for 11 months during OBJ. Please tell me any regime in Nigeria that schools wasn't closed or industrial action wasn't witnessed? Please is not having industrial action during your regime the test of good governance? eejo: The root of our division or why Nigerians are easily divided is as a result of past events of mistrust / greed and which led to series of coups and wars. These events has conditioned peoples way of thinking around tribal lines and when there is a little misunderstanding that can be corrected with simple dialogue, it leads to ethnic violence, people destroying things and killing people. Nigerians bring ethnic coloration into simple issues because we don't trust each other and are greedy. What we need is Unity, which is lacking. The earth and all things on it belongs to God, it's good if we don't get too greedy and take what doesn't belong to us. If Nigerians learn the art of forgiveness and love, there will be progress but this is lacking. That's why there is constant friction, violence and misunderstanding among Nigerians. In most Nigerian society, due to the divisive nature of ethnic groups, it was easy for religion to penetrate and divide us. Africa was living in peace before the introduction of other religions. Now people are incited to believe fighting to defend a religion is fighting for God. Nigerians are misinformed to believe they are poor because god is the one who will make them rich. Wicked Politicians pay the religious leaders to also make sure they use religion to divide people so as to gain undue advantage. When we talk about scarcity mentaitiy, It's the way the elite has kept the countrys resources in the hand of few people. Most Nigerians are kept in the dark and lie to that there is not enough jobs and resources meanwhile we have abundance of resources. Scarcity mentality is a weapon fashioned against the Nigerian by the elite in our society. |
