Charade? Haha grin grin

I'm very sure onnoghen has sent someone to prison before for an offense not as serious as the one he's convicted of now. I'm sure you're not even aware of thousands of wrongly imprisoned individuals who don't know if they will ever see outside simply because they are found in possession of Laptops. These persons, some of which are common hardworking men and women are from all ethnic backgrounds and religion. I've never heard you or any other JUSTICE PURISTS accused anyone of selectively persecuting these people. You don't even know Sh!t about their ethnic or religious backgrounds. You are not even aware if any of them are from your village, or hamlet.

But they don't matter to you, I know. You only care about Justice Walter Onnoghen, the Chief Justice of Nigeria. A perfect nail to hit your hammer of baseless ethno-religious sentiments and bias.
Why so? Because he's a highly placed official whose rise or fall is somehow a valid representation of the character of men and women from your hamlet, village, local government, state, or country? A tribalistic perspective indeed.

People like you only see what you want to see and hear what you want to hear. I'm very sure Senate President Bukola Saraki (North Central), former Comptroller General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde, former NNPC GMD, Andrew Yakubu (North West), former governor of Plateau state, Sen. Joshua Dariya (North Central), former governor of Jigawa state Sule Lamido (North West), former governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, Sen. Abdul-Azeez Nyako don't have their own ethnic or religious roots. Or simply, they are worth less compared to the saintly men that abode your enclave.

Ugosample, you don't care about equity or justice or fairness, or truth. You are a tribal and religious bigot yourself.
crafty, insightful but inconclusive. throw more light on why Maina, Boss Mustapha, Kemi Adeosun and others who were accused of corruption and forgery with glaring evidences are still walking free and supporting this government. over to you

Well, I think he definitely saw that coming, reason why he quickly resigned with the hope that the singular act could appeal to FG and withdraw the case to at least save him some grace. But unfortunately for him, the FG refused to backdown. What this mean is that his resignation was not accepted and now he has been convicted and fired (forced to leave the office). What a disgrace!

There must have been some strong and glaring evidences of his corrupt practises for the NJC not to have interfered in his trial and he knows that himself. This will serve as a warning to all the corrupt and intending corrupt public officials.
Nigeria shall be great again!

They can take SP
sambo is from north west man besides senate presidency can't be guaranteed before election because opposition might win more senatorial seat than the party that won the presidential election. and again it is only the elites that will welcome the zoning of the senate presidency to their zone before election.

Oil price right now...$71 per barrel

Oil price that we need for a budget that we won't need to borrow for, or raise taxes for...$140.

Debt right now:$22 billion

Debt 3 years ago : $11billion

Oil price in 2015 $75 per barrel

We should pay the minimum wage...our workers need it.

But we also must accept the fact that we would incur more debt to pay this wage...especially as we are borrowing to stay above water since oil is not at the price we need it to run a debt free balanced budget.

We also have to fight corruption. And we also have to remove subsides.
so without oil Nigeria will cease to exist?

Igbo Yoruba ticket will never produce Nigerian president. the north are more in number so you need to get north central in to the equation by giving them VP slot which they never had before anything can materialise.

Whoever got voted in, whether Atiku or Buhari....would have had to increase prices for these reasons

1.Oil is below $80. We need it at $140 to run a debt free budget. We have been on loans for the last ten years because we have not been able to get oil where we want it to be.

2.Oil subsidy is stifling investment in the downstream sector and is making NNPC lose billions...which in turn means no new refineries, etc.

3.Corruption in the whole subsidy sector makes things worse.

4.Marketers cannot make a profit...so they smuggle and do all manner of sharp practices to earn money.

Now Atiku was talking of fuel at N90, Buhari wants the status quo ante. Either way, it would cost us millions in cash we don'tr have meaning more debts.

Somehow...something has to give.

twilliamx:
Politics is a game which the igbos are woeful at playing, instead of them to play open politics knowing the kind of country they are in, they choose to play self centered politics, prior to Atiku choosing Obi as running mate, yorubas were called slaves to fulani, but when the same fulani chose their son as running mate, they started screaming Atikulate up and down, even denying their sons which were vying for the same position thier support, they are very divisive but their schemes are childish, they only think of themselves even ignoring the order of their dilector not to vote, all of a sudden kanu became a useless spokesperson, there is no other major tribe in Nigeria that plays politics like them, that is why they are always outplayed by other major tribes.
Until they change their tactics of self love and hatred for the rest. They might never rule this country
let me start from your last statement. what has ruling this country has to do with bettering the country. remember the economic and political impute of the igbos can never be matched by any region of the country, you can stop teaching of history in schools but you can't erase history. I think the country was in her best state when igbos were leading in all angles. how do you compare what you have today as a country (ZOO) and that of the first republic when Zik, Orizu and co were piloting the affairs of the country, the first Nigeria civilian president is an Igbo, the first speaker of the house of reps was an Igbo, the first senate president was an Igbo, the first vice president of Nigeria was an Igbo, the first military head of state in Nigeria was an Igbo, I can go on and on and on talking about firsts only. So beat that if you can. coming to voting pattern, yorubas voted tribalistically just to get the presidency in 2023 disregarding the incompetence of buhari and the sorry state of Nigerian economy while igbos sacrificed Igbo presidency in pursuit of good governance and development, at some point the VP and honourable minister had nothing to campaign with aside Yoruba presidency and that alone tells one how selfish and myopic that particular race is. Igbos hate buhari because they hate failure and buhari is synonymous to failure. this same buhari had chosen Igbo VP twice but couldn't get votes in the east. Igbos are woeful politically? they supported OBJ in 1999 he won, they supported OBJ in 2003 he won even against their own Ojukwu, (zombie talked about tribal politics oo) they supported Yaradua in 2007 he won, they supported GEJ in 2011 he won that is four against two, now who's a failure in politics? meanwhile we are patiently waiting for yorubas political dexterity come 2023, let's see how they will realise their tribal political ambition then we will know who'd laugh last. the igbos are the worst race to grace our mother earth, they are divided against themselves, they can't rule Nigeria, there land isn't developed, they are this and that but aren't you surprise that despite all these vices you juxtapose igbos with they are still waxing stronger and better than you who seems to know it all and have everything? I think how Igbos do it against all odds should be included as the 8th wonder of the world.

I agree.

It's the natural law of reward. You can't reap where you didn't sow.

While the east/south will benefits in terms of infrastructural development and and economic prosperity under PMB, individual reward in terms of appointment is a 'NO' for me. Let they get appointments from politics of hatred and bigotry.
politics of hatred? so whoever chooses not to vote your preferred candidate is playing politics of hatred? thank God buhari has nothing to offer. remember he who expect nothing shall never be disappointed. an average Igbo man has no hope on buharis administration, I think people who are disappointed are OUK, Okorocha, Onu, Lauratta Onochie and other useful Iddiots in our zone who we warned but they fail to listen. given the third chance we will still vote against failure buhari. pls you that is reaping from where you sow how has buharis govet directly elevated you and your family? we are mainly after the improvement of common man on the street and not apoitment to already made elites.
