Today I just found out that Monogamy isnt Biblical as believed by Christains. There is no direct instruction from the bible directing all men to be monogamous. This realization took me back to 2013, the year I discovered the old tale about satan being a dethroned, beautiful, Choitmaster in heaven is; if not Lie, unbiblical. No where in the bible was this enticing tail documented. No bible verse supports the story of a beautiful angel who was the choirmaster of heaven, rebelling against God and then was defeated by Arch Angel Michael and thrown down to earth. I say this with confidence because even the Jehovah's witnesses whom I consider erudites bible scholars, couldnt help me find any. Neither could the internet. The closest to this fable (FABU according to warri) are four verses. But they are far from the truth. These verses comes close because the talk about Lucifer Falling From Heaven. They re Isaiah 14:12, Ezekial 28, Luke 10:18, and Revelation 12: 7-9. Lets analyse thses verses |
fulaniHERDSman:I disagree with you sir. Yes maybe corruption would have being minimal, surely we wouldnt have Islam and Christainity as our major religions but surely we would have being very backwards compared to the rest of the world. These are my reasons. 1. The black nation had no writing culture. Most race were already written thousands of years ago, black africa relied on Oral narrations. 2. We werent inquisitive, just too comfortable under our skin. Our fore fathers attributed every new phenominum to the Gods. They investigated nothing.....all were the work of the goods. 3. We had resources; made us lazy, and laziness in turn ensures zero growth. As a fact in history, the man without resource, rules over the man with resources e.g Babylon, Rome, England etc. Europe came to Africa in search of wealth... 4. The average black man including the modern black man is not service oriented, so he fails to contribute to his society; meanifully. He usually thinks inward only. Regardless of the horrors of colonization, I think Black Africa is better of colonized than being left to grow at her own pace....it would have being a painful, endless, slow growth. |
Give Willi his share of the corona cake |
The North would suffer, as all the abokis crowding our streets down south for mania Jobs would be forced back to the North, thus doubling the poverty rate, which in turn would triple the crime rate that is already very high. Also the Islamic fanatics would clamp down on the Christian, increasing the instability of the region. Finally without free oil money, and poor social life in most northern state and almost Zero human capacity up north, most Elites would become commoners and the remaining Elites would have to run for their lives. |
Odinaka00:The video is better than the song. Low for tuface, Average for the regular naija musician |
TheGiftedOne:Didn't come down my brother, also we had to pass through Opuraja, a village off the Highway to escape the really bad spots. Mind you these villagers now mount road blocks and collects #50 from every incoming vehicle. #50 to enter tge Village, #50 to leave. NB : Oghara - Warri is now #700, instead of the usual #400 or #500 naira |
MelesZenawi:Modified.... Tanx |
I travelled to Sapele on Saturday and from there to Oghara for a Job and came back to Warri Today. Fashola is high on APC weed, that road is hell. The road is so bad that Oghara to warri which is about 30 to 45mins drive to us almost 2hrs and man we were lucky because earlier in the day trucks, stucked on the bad spots caused a major Jam on the highway. Fashola should take a road trip from Benin to Warri, only then would he know the true state of the Benin-Warri federal highway. , pls in what areas of our lives has APC improved Nigeria. Federal roads are still bad, Power supply still epileptic, Police still collect bribe openly and aggressively. I ask again what has changed for good since 2015

Mynd44:I am not saying govt. shouldn't brag about their foreign reserve. I thought before now foreign reserve was more like a savings where the country can draw from in times of shortage. But as it were that is just where you draw money from for imports |
Tosin Adeoti wrote this - long but worthy of a read. I found myself having to explain the concept of foreign reserves to a fellow today. It was on the news this morning that the government is looking to borrow $2.5 billion from the World Bank (the same World Bank they say gives wrong stats...a case of I want your money, I don't want your opinions), and was wondering why we are borrowing when we have $41.85 billion in foreign reserves. I mean, why can't we just take the money from the foreign reserves instead of this constant borrowings, right? Well, no. Foreign reserves is probably the wrong word for that $41 billion, at least as the layman knows it. If you reserve money, it means that it's yours for the rainy day, right? Not so in this case. Here's what happens: - Nigeria sells stuff to the world, mainly oil since... *let me just keep quiet*, and collects dollars. Dollar is the de facto world currency so most countries change their currencies to dollars and pay for what is bought. - After collecting the dollars, i.e revenue, the federal government approaches the CBN to change the dollars to Naira. Why? The government cannot spend revenue in dollars in Nigeria. It pays its contractors and workers salaries (and other obligations) in Naira, not dollars. Why CBN? Because CBN is the only authorized organization with the power to print Naira. So CBN collects the dollars and gives Naira to the federal government. - The government spends the Naira. The CBN keeps the dollars. The dollars that the government gives the CBN is what is known as FOREIGN RESERVES. As you can see, the dollars no longer belongs to the government. That's why it's silly for any government to boast about its foreign reserves. It's as silly as you exchanging NGN360,000 for $1,000 from a roadside mallam, and boasting to your friend that you have a 'reserve' of $1000. Bros, it's no longer your money. So what's the use of the dollars with CBN to Nigerians? Smart question. That's the dollars CBN has to give to anyone who needs to buy things from abroad. Innoson wants to buy vehicle parts, it gives CBN Naira in exchange for dollars and he pays his suppliers abroad. You want to buy Gucci shoes from Amazon via your GTBank Naira card, your bank changes the Naira in your account to dollars with the CBN and pays Jeff Bezos in dollars. In other words, CBN cannot spend the dollars with it, it can only sell it in exchange for Naira so imports can happen. It’s ‘reserved’ for making foreign payments. Understood this way and you can appreciate why it's important for us to sort of have a big reserve because foreign reserves determines the amount of stuff we can import at any time. What I mean is that if the people in Nigeria spend $10bn per month on imports and the CBN only have $30bn in reserves, it means we are covered for only 3 months. So back to the guy's question, the World Bank's $2.5 billion loan has nothing to do with the $41 billion with the CBN. Therefore, the next time your politicians try to swindle you by bragging about how much money they have in foreign reserves as an indication of wealth, tell them you're not buying what they're selling. THIS WAS SENT TO ME ON WHATSAPP, SO I DECIDED TO SHARE TO EDUCATED MY FELLOW NIGERIANS LIKE MYSELF WHO DIDN'T KNOW. |
ambimo:Thank you sir |
MelesZenawi:I don't get you sir. And as for my definitions, please visit a simple dictionary or google and if you find something different, please post it here. |

A few days ago there was a thread about the numbers of ethnic groups(languages spoken) within the 36 states, of the federation. It quickly spiraled into a thug of war between the Igbos in the house and others i.e igbos vs all. I noticed three things was actually the crux of the fighting. 1. Igbos fighting die hard to ensure their presence in all states within the SS region. 2. Igbos(fewer this time) denying the presence of Igalas in Enugu and Anambra State. 3. Omenka refusing to accept the presence of indigenous Igbos as a minority tribe in Benue state. I can't speak for the entire SS, as I am from Edo, born and raised in Delta, lived on and off in PH(oyibo incusive), and presently residing in Warri. This means I know not so much about Bayelsa, Cross river and Akwa Ibom state so can't say much about the people and their ethnicity. Let's get familiar with the associated terms. Language : A system of communication used by a particular group. Dialect : A variety within a language e.g though Uromi and Igueben are both Esan, they differ in tongue. Languages are grouped together into larger blocks, tracing their origin to a particular source. E.g, Bini, Esan, Urhobo, Okpe, Afemai are all Edoid group thus they are phonetically alike but yet the average Urhobo man does not understand Benin, except for a few common words and vice versa. Again Scandinavians, Germans and Icelandic people are categorised as Germanic speakers, this in no way implies that the man from sweden is a German. Down to the Argument that Igbanke(in Edo), Ukwuani, Ika etc in Delta and Ikwerri in Rivers, are all igbos separated from the main Igbos by the federal government as a divide and rule strategy to weaken the igbos as a majority group in Nigeria. Yes they are all(Ukwuani, Ika, Igbanki, Ikwerri etc) Igboid group by classification this does not make them Igbo by tribe or ethnicity because a tribe according to anthropology is a human social group, while an ethnic group is a category of people who identify with each other due to genealogy, language, culture etc. What this me is language is God given, Ethnicity is chosen. By this, it is the Ukwuani's, and the Ikwerri's etc that should say they are Igbos and not the Igbos telling the Ukwuani's and Ikwerri's that they are Igbos. A group of people has the right to choose their ethnicity and not forced into one by a larger group because they are all Igboid speakers by linguistic classification. It is like the Germans telling the Sweds that, you don't have a choice, you re German because your language falls within the Germanic grouping. This is what Igbos are doing and I tell you with Authority; the average Ukwuani man, hates to be tagged and Igbo man, same as the Ikwerri man. My boss is Ukwuani, if you want to irate him, call him an Igbo man, and same is witnessed in Rivers state if you call the Ikwerri man Igbo. How often do you see an Ikwerri man or Ukwuani man saying "I'm Igbo" they maintain their separate tribal Identity. Yes, their are Igbos in Delta State(Asaba is one) and they freely identify as Igbos, same as the Oyibo/Oyigbo people in Rivers State, and this I do not dispute. Regardless Igbos should stop forcing "igboship" on all Igboid groups, they are not and continually refuse to be identified as Igbos, leave them alone. As for the issue of Igala's not being in Enugu and Anambra, it is nothing but Ignorance, but defending such Ignorance vehemently, is a proof of self denial stemed from a desire to dominate a region(SE +SS) at all cost, by enthroning homogeneity. We (SS), know and Agree that Nigeria is not working, we(SS) feel the oppression of the Fulani hegemony but we mustn't become Igbos to Escape the Nigerian Quagmire. N.B Omenka needs Jesus, because even with the many proofs trown at him that their are indigenous Igbos in Benue State, he refused to concede defeat. Such a man cannot be helped by mere mortals. |
Evercurious:He is actually irredeemable, if he can't see the decay in a fugitive filing a lawsuit. Fugitives hide, but Maina is feeling as free as a bird... Failure of leadership... Failure of Buhari.... Shame to Omenka |
olisaEze:Omenka pls reply to this. |
omenka:U re as shameless as shame itself |
Os it by force to remain one? |
Electricity is getting worse and rain is still failing, by November we die |
Where is that suya seller when you need him |
RealLordZeus:Go through the report again, then you would see imports increased by 65% while export by a mere 1%, so it is actually a bad news my brother |
They speak as though the funds needed to do so are available to the youth. Funding is the major problem. It is the well to do politicians and already established business men that can invest in Agriculture for now, not the broke youth. |
It's our internal affair, it concerns Germany not |

This may be late...But I hope you see this. The society only frowns at women who never got married. The moto is once a senator, forever a senator. You re 26, still freah with a baby. Get a Job, become financially stable and leave the ediot. People won't be so hard on you because you were once married, so it isn't an issue of you couldn't get married, check for facts nobody mocks a once married lady they prefer to mock those who never got married. Don't be decieved, most men cheat but oga has brought it to your face just a year into the marriage; translation, he does not respect you, he is a chauvinist. Chauvinist never change. Marriage is not an Endurance Mission. N.B: Right from the first page many post makes it okay for a man to cheat... It is not okay, cos marriage is a legal tender, if you can't cope at least pretend, don't rub it on her face, otherwise women should be allowed to cheat too. What is sauce for Emeka should be sauce for Amaka. |
Citing, increased importation as one of th reasons Buhari is our best option is nothing but cluelessness. A government that claims they are growing the economy is priding about high imports, where in reality nations struggle to reduce their import and improve export and local consumption. Buhari is wacked and Garbage Shehu knows but must work for his pay. |
OlujobaSamuel:The only truthful post on this topic.... Jist like forever, electricity in Naija depends on your location. Here in warri and it's environs itvis terrible, even the so called industrial line(33KVA) is nose diving. My verdict on Electricity improvement base on my experience is ZERO |
