You're not far from the truth sha. I just wish southeast and southsouth can unite so that we can focus on uniting with the south west. but no they're busy placing stupid bounties on each other. I await 2023.

South south and south east can easily unite but I don't know what's wrong with them.

But for south east and west to unite.
It'll be hard for both of us

I want to ask a simple but serious political question to Southern Nigerians. By Southern Nigeria, I mean all Nigerians who are indigenous to the South West, South East and South South

If the North decides that Nigeria will never be restructured, what will be your next position?

The call for Nigeria to be restructured is mainly a Southern Nigerian thing. The 13 states that make up the core North are totally against any sort of restructuring and they control over 40% of the national assembly, the only place Nigeria can be legally restructured. Without their votes, any bill on restructuring Nigeria will never pass

So as a Southern Nigerian who wants Nigeria restructured, if the North, particularly the core North, decides that they will never accept that Nigeria will be restructured, what will be your next decision about Nigeria?

Nothing will happen that's the truth, each south will still go back to their drawing board to find means to be a boy boy to the north.

He's playing opposition. He's a lagosian and he understands what's happening in the state . What he's saying is the truth. Don't tell me you're in support of Tinubu's incidences of fraud in lagos

I'm not in support.
I am just saying, opposition should be played very well, all these cheap talks can't move Nigerians.

Look for a mistake in the ruling party, then challenge and voice out the mistake, use it against them.
Let Nigerians know what you can do if you're in the position.

That's what opposition means.

Warri Nor Dey Carry Last.

I used to live in Warri when James Ibori held sway.

This is a city that could have rivaled Abuja,Nairobi,Windhoek,Cape Town if resources where properly utilized to tranform this oil rich city.

Can people still living in Warri upload pictures of the present developments.

Actually Bayelsa and delta, even port Harcourt are supposed to be Cape Town by now.

Esp Bayelsa with 8local governments imagine.
Less population.

Politics / Re: Some Nairalanders Rejoicing Over The Death Of Innocent Igbos by Seerade029: 7:43pm On Nov 01, 2020
VaselineCrew:
Even if news about the army taking innocent lives in Rivers is a rumor, which I don't believe it is, the fact that people on here can rejoice with glee is just wow!

When did you become so wicked that you rejoice when innocent men, women and children are killed?

The world should know, that in this country, people rejoice when a certain tribe is killed in mass. They rejoiced at 3 million igbos killed and they rejoice today. Yet they preach an unbreakable one-ness!

Disgusting...

I can imagine that the slain fall in the presence of God in heaven, shedding tears, asking their father to avenge them daily...

But God is merciful and is long suffering, not wanting anyone to perish...

But should God execute his vengeance, who can stand? Not just the body, but the soul is subject to righteous fury. Who can stand?

At the end of it all, we will all die, me, you, your family, your children, all of us... No one escapes. So maybe think twice before laughing at the death of innocent people, cause your death too is inevitable.

Lol, You don't have boundaries with North East, North West or South west.

So the people that are probably happy about killing of Igbos will either be Middlebelts or South south.

My state is highly homogenous and no town can boast of having the highest population of indigene because everybody is interconnected (Some families like mine have roots in 20 towns across the state, that's the reason why some "Oríkì" are similar), the only thing that vary is the dialects peculiar to each community.

This should be Ekiti or Osun.

Most likely Ekiti.
Politics / Re: Governor Wike To Limit The Number Of Church Worshippers Over COVID19 by Seerade029: 4:54pm On Nov 01, 2020
Wike is running on high temperature.

But there was no covid 19 during Edo and Ondo election campaigns.

This current governors of Nigeria states are useless.

With an exception of (Akwaibom, Enboyi, Ondo, Kano, Bornu, I don't see any state to select in Middlebelt)

I think those states above performed 45 - 50% average.

And BTW, Cross river governor and Ogun governor knows nothing about governance.

Politics / Re: The 7 Most Populous Nigerian Tribes In The World by Seerade029: 8:59am On Nov 01, 2020
Openbusiness:
You might need to do a personal research on that. It's not a BLACK and WHITE contrast. There are many grey areas. It's like White people, to them African Black people look alike and it's hard to differentiate. But for us African Blacks, we can differentiate ourselves easily. And to Black African people, Caucasian White people look the same to us, it's hard to differentiate. But for Caucasians, they can easily differentiate themselves, like Scottish, American, British, Irish, Scandinavian etc.

Same thing applies to this Hausa / Fulani differentiation. Personally, in my opinion, as per physical characteristics, Hausas are generally Bulkier, generally more dark skinned and thick headed. But Fulanis are generally slimmer, more fair / brown skinned and slender headed etc. A Hausa man's face is usually kind of bold and expressive, but a Fulani man's facial appearance is usually kind of soft or tender some how. Hausa noses are typically regular, but Fulani typically is pointed as per African comparison. Also, tribal marks help to distinguish but that system is gradually fading from society totally.

Anyways, that's just my own personal way of identifying them separately from afar. And you have to be aware that these physical characteristics OVERLAP between the 2 Tribes sometimes. But beyond this, the major difference is accent. Hausa accent is different from Fulani accent and if you have gotten familiar with hearing them speak, you should be able to tell them apart.

And hope you know that there's a lot of intertribal marriages between these 2 Tribes in Northern Nigeria and you have many mixed children as a result bearing both resemblances. So there will always be a lot of grey areas.

First 2 = Hausas
Last 2 = Fuldes
