Exactly, and I am sure Nigerian girls feel the same way too. What a dilemma- the girls are looking for smart attractive men, but this traits are lacking in average Nigerian men, while the men are looking for smart, attractive women who can cook like mummy . This is very hard to find. What a disconnect . I would suggest people to eb realistic though. Look for an intellectual girl, who might have homely looks , but is still sociable. Before you know it, when you actually get to know her, she would be the most beautiful person in the world.

I agree with you that it is not normal. But I am kind of shy and historically, what helps me overcome my shyness is someone that really has many things in common with me or a fine babe. Its kind of psycho, I know, but its my reality. So, I will be able to ignore a babe's worworness is she like the things i like like soccer, intellectually stimulating discussions etc. If not, she has to make up for it by having a wonderful personality, and that includes being beautiful.
