^ Well but the girl is kind of cute so that's enough to be on her side anyways. I don't really care too much about her nose. I am sure she is rich enough to do a nose job. Who no like better some thing ![]() buzugee:I like that outlook. I figured that out a long time ago that being poor you have to take what you get now since you are bottom of the barrel. See most girls want ready-made men who can buy them loads of things especially when they are younger. Also they go for shallow things like "Tall, Handsome, Prince Charming, good career prospects (Is that really important )". As they grow older their standards drop and they become realistic and they start looking for men to marry them. I think in general we have the upper-hand though in the long-run. Although we might be poor and generally earning minimum wage, in the long-run we would have more choices in the future. This is purely anecdotal but I can tell from all the old (50+ men) chasing and landing 20+ young girls that our future is quite bright in this regards. So keep strong brother, we are all in this struggle, just take what you get. You should see how Ileke-Idi bone my side when she heard Mekusxyz- the plant scientist- brings home $120,000 salary. And you know what they say: Once You go Igbo, You never go back. PS: Your matter still dey ground. I cannot remember exactly why though but you will remind me when I get time to deal with you lol. |
A rather vague presumptuous argument.Anyways dont really want to go into this. if you think its presumptuous and shallow its your prerogative. My life still goes on, its a Saturday and I am going to chill. They think they can just come here and lash out, with their 'not-so-well-educated mouth/keyboard,' at this young, hot, incredibly sexy, urbane, uber entitled ABCD girl/bum and not expect obviously humble, well adjusted and "well-educated" people like you to come to her defense.Whateva dude. Fact remains that people here and elsewhere- being going to various newspaper reports and reading the comments- see this as an opportunity to rejoice at her misfortune while its no secret that the large majority of people tend to have a high opinion of themselves. Ad hominem (That I am not humble, well adjusted or well educated) is irrelevant here. Its just kind of sad how humans love to rejoice at other people's misfortunes. So nevertheless while I am enjoying some of the posts from an entertainment point of view , my more rational aspect is kind of offended. Everyone makes mistakes. |
violent:The retail arm of BNP Paribas is mostly in Europe. I dont think there is any in North America. Moreover she is an MBA student at a really good business school so she would not be doing retail. Its so sad that you guys are just using this opportunity to denigrate the poor girl. While in general I am pretty cool headed off-line (I never get angry at people in general), I am also aware that people do get angry and have bad days. It could have been you or anyone, flipping out about something and then be filmed. Moreover all we got was a one-sided story of what happened. She could have been having a bad day or be affected by PMS. In general its not good to judge people without understanding their situation. Or of course it could just be a curious case of suffering from the disease of arrogantis egotica1 . Personally I think both I and that Desi Chick would get along pretty well. Footnote: Arrogantis Egotica: A disease that generally affects rich and entitled people who feel the need to remind people how educated they are. i.e Desi Girl Shouting on the train "Do you think I am a hoodlum? Do you know what schools I attended." |
Kobojunkie:How is it a personal attack? Its a fact. She will be richer than you will ever be in your lifetime from her first year associate salary at a swanky Investment bank on wallstreet. However this incident might have changed things. S/hit you even had Mr Moderator Send Me a gay private message telling me to remove my posts. Damn I am going to watch sesame street. Its actually more interesting than Nairaland. |

Damn if the guy is not in a mental institution I am going to be ultra-surprised.Its correct though that a lot of people forge documents and end up becoming excellent individuals in the future. |
A smart and perfect fraudster leaves no trace of his/her fraudulent activity.Just like philip emeagwali too.
Well true. But Nigerians are rarely good fraudsters. For example look at this: Her exceptional brilliance earned her chains of awards off-shore: She has won the following awards:-These awards are credible, the only thing is that they should not be ascribed to "exceptional brilliance." Being on the Deans list is not exceptional brilliance. "Foreign student academic excellent" whateva is not "exceptional brilliance." However they are typical things that one would win if they really attended a particular school and were a good student. She probably got these awards and that's why she kept them there on her CV. A real fraud would have found more prestigious and better awards to put down as evidence of "exceptional brilliance." A real fraud for example could have claimed to be the father of the internet or Mother of the New York stock exchange market ![]() She just bloated her achievements, but everything adds up nicely. Bluetooth if you dey vex go hug transformer now. |
I think she's probably 'massaged' her work experience in her job application but I'm not sure about the claim that she did not get a PHD. If you subject everyone's job application to thorough scrutiny, you will find inconsistencies in a substantial number of job applications. It will be interesting to see what her response is.I agree too, everything seems to add up logically on her CV. I checked, and her CV seems to flow authentically. If she is a fraud, she must be a pretty good fraud. |
All I know is that if GEJ delivers on electricity, the we'll be able to move mountains. I don't even care if in 10 years they take away oil allocations; that is how important electricity is to me.Man u love electricity more than an Ekiti man loves pounded yam. Half your posts about electricity. Whats up with electricity? Is that the only memory you have of NIgeria ![]() |
Egba girl:I can take care of that for you too. No probs ![]() I am gonna be a busy man |
Eziachi:In general Nigerians like to shout. There are exceptions to the rule. Posh and well-educated ones like me, are quite gentlemanly and courteous. Its the poor riff-raffs that shout like Ileke-Idi |
On a serious note, by fire by force, I'm having 6
You need my permission for that. I will think about it ![]() However, we do need to engage in some population control soon |
buzugee:Na me you call Ewure for the other thread. You don't have respect for God's anointed. Anyways, I will deal with ya later, I am busy right now ![]()
Look okay, someone has to explain why Nigerian men are so disgustingly boisterous. I've read alot of psychological journal on aggression and how the characteristics may be linked to a chromosomal locus.
I find it difficult to tell the difference between naija women and the men |
SEFAGO, Have you ever wondered why your jokes are so dry to the bone?
Ouch!!!You are supposed to massage my ego. ![]() But then you assume I am actually trying to be funny. Truth be told both men and women are aggressive. I think it has to do with our society which is a dog eat dog environment.
Nigeria shout while talking because most nigerian are deaf. more than 70% have hearing problem in one ear at least. In a place like lagos 90% of them have hearing problem. they dont know they are partially deaf.
Now this is definitely one funny dude. |
It's mainly Nigerian men and I dont understand why. That thing is very annoying. "Do you know who I am? Do you know who I am? You do not know who I am". Are you God? Like someone said, it's the arrogance and high level of aggression in Nigerian men, might be some psychological issue the science world has not yet touched upon.
But dont you know who we are? ![]() I really think someone should do a study on why Naija guys are objectively more arrogant than others. Because we tend to think we are all that when in reality we are at the bottom of the food chain. The women too are too aggressive. It must be the high levels of testosterone ![]() |
I met some pretty damn cool Igbo folk today. As much as we talk crap to each other on this NL Politics section, one love outside of it and in real life.
The large majority of my friends are Igbo or from the south-south. Infact my best friend when I was in college is from the south-south. If they see what I say online they will vouch that it isnt me .I do honestly love the diversity in Nigeria. Its one of the things I am proud off. You gotta love Igbo people though, they are pretty nice individuals, just a bit ethnocentric. Its not only the ones online that think like this, a lot of them do, they just dont say it out in public. |
U don ya were tan. Dey don sell all ur brain to the iya aje that dey your village. End times ko, end times ni ![]() |
^chicken change You better come back home and start campaigning for a political position. We will all get our own share of the national cake ![]() |

And I have not swayed from the path predestined by God. To make sure that fools have no mercy from his wrath. Anyways this thread is about celebrating our diversity. IGBO KWEZEONU, so bros, how body now? You get sisters to give to your fellow Anambra brother. Just asking ooh, Igbo kwenu, I greet you. (This is so sad though my knowledge of igbo people is all I see on Nollywood TV and Things Fall Apart) |
ak47mann:Ok lets just leave it at KWENU. That one is loud enough now ![]() All fellow indigenes of Anambra state, I greet you, let us all come together and show strength in our numbers. |
