I think they should just take governors out of these processes. They just add an extra layer of bureaucratic red tape. Why not just have prison commission handle it.

in support of what you've said the office of the Attorney General and the Justice Minister should split then this role be handed to bare, by so doing the public office holders would face governance squarely. those uncharge of dissemination of judgement do it in totality.

both options exist in the law readily thought being implemented based on judges discretion to disseminate judgment and offence committed.
what are we up to here is this a way of our public office holders wanting to prepare their own grave to look beautiful even before their death. for they know some days they would sure face the wroth and judgment of Nigerians.

insecurity in Nigeria is alarming, like we are worse but in the more civilised and saner clime it is worse.

I believe it high time the use of house help/maid become criminalised, in particular the underage ones.
any individual that is not 18 years of age should not be allowed to go into any for of labour. underage going in to be house help/maid is just child labour.
funny enough a good number of those or the brutal masters are the I never living in one room, two rooms apartment or the fortunate ones that forcing 'emselves to manage a flat.
