laureek: I think it's possible but I changed mine before applying for future purposes especially if you intend staying in Canada after school. I think it is better and less stressful if you do before applying. if you have the time, you can. i went all the way to Abuja to have my name changed on my passport and it took about 3days. I don't know if it is now done in Lagos.
I learnt even if you drop it in lagos, they still have to send it to Abuja so it might take a while.

Siga: Hi family....thanks alot for ur prayers and mails....we finally got home today....to tell u guys abit....my wife was pregnant with our 3rd child but unfortunately, it was an ectopic pregnancy and it ruptured while she was at work....thank God for 911....she was admitted and operated on....she is back on her feet and recovering after a 2hrs 30mins operation.....

I feel the need to update u guys as I got numerous mails, phone calls and prayers....thanks alot guys....I promise to be back fully once she feels better and can get things done herself....

Meanwhile, I will respond to all emails I got before the incident within the next 24hrs....

My cousin broda work at a canadian embassy in abuja. my intention did not disclose to him though, coz i dont want a discourage from him,such as why can't u just face a reality in naija or as he told one man in my area who was seeking his assistance. he told d man dat if he can really pin point with a letter why he wanted to visit canada b4 he can help... that he can even pay 4 d visa of d man #7500 then 2008. my question is dis; WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS i need to put in place dat will make it difficult 4 him to say no or dat can make him realize how serious i am when i disclose my intention to him as i will be rounding up with my degree programme dis year by God grace. advise please
