She is not a nursing student please. Ogun State School of health is not for Nurses but for health technicians and the school is not a medical school I. E. Not for doctors. She is a dental health technician or assistant.

A nurse is NEVER at a chemist, that is a Quack! This is Nigeria where we have Quacks everywhere, even in private hospitals which is because of cheap labour. I tell people no health profession is apprenticeship, you have to go to school and study, not that you want to LEARN Nursing at one Omo Balogun Clinic. A lot of Nigerians are still oblivious of this fact, they don't know who is licensed and who is not?

People die everyday because of these menace in the health sector..... I only wonder who the next victim will be?

hmmmmm........ The nurse was at the chemist, while the doctor is in the hospital were he's currently being treated....... Garrit??

And about 99% of the so called nurses in private Hospitals in Ogun state are quacks. People need to be very careful ,a lot of people have been affected negatively. I wish an anti-quackery patrol can be down throughout the hospitals, cos if they say they should come and re-register, what most of them do is to get a professional nurse License and pay her while she doesn't work in that Hospital.
Corruption everywhere....

which part again? He has no JUSTIFICATION OR WHATSOEVER TO BEAT UP ANYONE, HE IS A DOCTOR, IT IS OBVIOUS HE IS A BAD DOCTOR, A BAD HUSBAND, A WOMAN BEATER. SO IF THE PATIENT WAS RUDE TO HIM ALSO HE WILL BEAT HIM/HERE UP? LET'S FACE THE FACT HERE. A NURSE IS A PATIENT ADVOCATE, SHE US NOT SUBSERVIENT TO ANY PROFESSION. HEALTH WORKERS SHOULD WORK IN A COLLABORATIVE WAY.

You are first a registered nurse then you can specialise into various fields which include midwifery. So a registered midwife is a register nurse also.

And that should warrant beating of a woman, a mother to someone, a wife and a sister to someone. You want to tell me if it was your sister who was as you said"disrespectful"the doctor had every right to beat her up.... While leaving a woman in labour PAIN... Lol. .quot author=Chrisrare post=51075141]d nurse must hav made her point in a disrespectful manner dat provoked d doc.
I was actually wondering why it was only the Dr recognition was given to, they forgot the first person to attend to the patient, the person who would have called the DR's attention to the patient, the person who would have basically rendered most of the care to the patient.....hardly will you hear people mention her name. She died and was not celebrated but we know the Dr would not have not been able to stop sawyer without the nurse's help. We remember you nurse Ejelonu....RIP.

It is so disgusting and disheartening that punch news paper will decide to use the title "NURSE" instead of a "QUACK". Not everyone in white is a NURSE, they said it themselves in their report that she is a QUACK while defaming the profession
This is an avenue to say no to quackery in this country and sentisize the public. Journalism in Nigeria is also something else, punch should refrain the title nurse....she is a QUACK and not a NURSE!

Its really crazy, you will be surprised to hear them say dere is no drugs or if the patient is on stage 2 above he/she will have to pay for the drugs. Abt 35-40 k collected from these patients, drugs that are meant to be free.
Robbers...awon ole, the rate at which people steal in this country is disheartening.

Dats stil ok, uve nt seen situations where a Nurse is covering surgical, orthopedic and A & E together, wt notin less than 40 inward patients. She collapsed one day in the ward nd alarm was raised by pts she's suppose to b caring for. Nigerian health sector is rily in shambles, I knw of a state hosp. wt only 3drs nd 5 Nurses. Am also a Nurse.

Politics / Re: What Has Buhari's Administration Achieved This Year? by selfmade001(f): 9:13pm On Nov 04, 2015
You were able to list all these, bravo! Bt can u kindly tell me hw u ar contributing to this present govt. in making Nigeria a grt nation.
francizy:
Am perplexed, angry and at the same time disgusted at comments insinuating Buhari hasn't achieved anything this year. When:

- boko haram members are running Maiduguri and Yola down (haven killed over 3 thousand people since May 29)?
- Fulani herdsmen are distroying farmlands and killing farmers with full force?
- the economy is already on recession?
- fuel scarcity and increase in fuel price is the order of the day?
- DSS is been used to fight perceived enemies?
- our media no longer dish out reliable news?
- the Nigerian Army is now been used to deceive gullible Nigerians and also, instead of fighting boko haram head on, they are busy issuing warnings?
- it took the president five - six months to release his thank you/noisemakers' list in the form of ministers (having some of the most corrupt and senile politicians just like the president himself)?
- no project has been commissioned?
- refinery that was due for operation in 2016 was forcefully put to operation and subsequently shut down?
- body odour generated power has declined back to it's epileptic state?
- de-marketing Nigeria to foreign investors?
- confusion everywhere as most statements released by one media aid of the president is refuted by the second aid before the day runs out?
- all campaign promises has been denied?
- the president converted Nigerian economy to a northern empire by choosing mostly northerners to head important posts and tagging the regions that didn't vote for him as 5 percent?
- crime rate has quadrupled?
- the only economic direction of the president is blames, blames and multiple blames?
- the president misses important functions and goofs at important meetings/interviews abroad?
- the president only speaks to Nigeria via BBC Hausa or via foreign media stations while only his aids speak to us via Nigerian stations?
- job losses/job creation is at it's lowest since 1984 (talk about breaking his own record)?
- JP Morgan delisted Nigeria from its bond index?
- fighting perceived enemies and using judges to criminally upturn elections in opposition states?
- further deplating our researves by embarking on fruitless journeys outside Nigeria?

Truthfully, Buhari has achieved a lot but unfortunately/sadly, the achievements were negative ones.. sad
Health / Re: Why Are Nigerian Nurses Always Rude And Mean? by selfmade001(f): 11:23pm On Feb 28, 2015
Most of dose pple dat portray demselves as nurses on African Magic know nothing about d profession. And nurses u will mostly encounter are auxilliary nurses who lacks nursing ethics . So kindly pls do not generalise.Nigeria is a developing country nd by d tym dey rily get to dat developed state it will affect every area even d health sector,by dat tym auxilliary nurses will b totally flushed out of d system.Professional/licensed/Registered Nurses are not stupid, they are great pple.
Lagusta:
Some nurses are not just rude, they can also be downright stupid!!!!

And they believe they know all, whereas they know nothing!!!!

The only nurses I love and respect are trauma nurses, labour ward nurses and the anaesthetic nurses.....

All others just do nothing but gossip, watch African magic, yab patients, grow fat with big butts, and develop cerebral atrophy later in life....
