Possible, but you need to plan on what visa? How much to export? Who will monitor? How much is gain? Etc.

Well we just need to think out of the box. Nigeria is a consumption ground and we live mostly based on imports.
If there are items over there that can be sold here, I think Dubai export business is feasible. I have read on some Dubai freelance VISA that gives a year residence permit for around 7500AED.

But anyways, I'm just trying to view Dubai from another angle.

More inputs from people who are there and have been there could help.

How about running a business in Dubai. Let's say exportation of tech gadgets, clothing and jewelries, automobiles etc. And I mean freelance one man business that does not necessarily requires a physical office/structure

Last year, i havd picked 4 Xs max from a seller. I couldn't risk the whole money as he couldn't give me the phones to inspect. So he gave me a phone, everything checked out, gavd him $700. Gave me the second phone, inspected it till we finished business and everybody was happy..

I helped someone ordered items from Zara due to "trust". Up till now, i didn't get my item fee and shipping fee. Thats people for you.

A client i had done business with severally also got me burned. I have done business with him that i just pick items without inspecting until i picked so many locked phones.

Lastly, be advised that we can only be betrayed by the people we trust most.

It is well. I wouldn't call him stupid for sending all cards sha. There's a way this ebay thing works. It's quite different and way more complicated than let's say Amazon. Most times it's best to get all cards, load and do the checkout once.

In this case, Sinebaba has abused the trust freely given to him.

I was able to pick up the new international passport today at Ikoyi.

Total time duration was a week form capturing till the day of collection.

Cost breakdown
Paid 25.5k online myself for the passport
Paid 1.5k for file, guarantor and printing all documents with photocopies
Paid 5h for court stamp
Paid 8k at the immigration office before capturing (egunje) cheesy

Paid 2k for fast collection today (Didn't even spend up to 3mins standing when my contact brought out my passport as there was a lot of people yet to be attended to)

Total 37.5k plus additional transportation fares all round up to 40k

As much as I tried to cut off the middle men, honestly I don't think anyone can do this stuff without spending much more over the official amount. Middle man has become the default way in this messed up country.

I hope this little piece of information helps any prospective Passport applicant.

Yes, you will be issued the new enhanced passport. The charged recently changed, l think last week Monday, from the 17,000 to 25000 for the 32 page booklet- 5years, 64page booklet now 35000 - 5years and 64page booklet now 70,000 - 10years.

You can make payment using your debit MasterCard or Visa card

I also applied for the NIS on the official website. Total bill given was 25,000 for standard 5yrs passport with an additional 500 chargers. I did choose innovate1pay and I got Transaction ID to proceed to payment.

My first question is I'm I right on track with the 25k bill?
