Very smart one from the op who is a Professor Emeritus on death avoidance.. I expect that his profound wisdom to ensure he dies at 100 in his bed surrounded by his loved ones with his church choir singing "a saint is coming home" ![]() Any other kind of death he dies will be such a shame to someone who knows so much about avoiding death ![]() |
Four nil and some still think this isn't all kinds of shady ![]() |
livelymatilda:And if they did, they would have told you? ![]() Some of you believe the world cup was rigged for Messi and Argentina and Rodri was rigged into winning the Ballon D'or, but don't believe foorballing authorities can have Man City can serve its punishment in such a "respectable" manner? Human beings are unpredictable Aunty rest |
CrossRhodes:That's why I said in my initial post that I have no concrete proof of my assumptions Unless he has concrete proof to disprove me, he should allow me and my assumptions rest ![]() |
Goosethetruth:It might be ludicrous to you, but not to me Since you are part of the Premier League Disciplinary Committee, tell us how many of those charges Man City was convicted of and what the penalties are If you don't, rest... Man city is very likely paying up for something you aren't aware of. |
DelphiOracle:Fines can also be paid quietly .. But my point is that, this Man City's string of losses is very suspicious. |
Olokolobo:It isn't match fixing if it's part of an under-the-table agreement with the premier League authorities who solely have the power to declare what is or isn't match fixing in the premier league ![]() |
bluefilm:Yes They seem to be very eager to drop the agreed points as quickly as possible They don't seem to be even playing with any desire to win..in fact, it appears they are eagerly playing to lose and are trying as much as possible not to make it too obvious by scoring own goals |
helinues:At a point even Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool were nothing ...teams like Nottingham forest ruled English football at some point Just like all those other teams, at a point, Man city got funding and also got a sensible manager to employ those funds properly and thus broke into the elite. Whatever is going on with Man city presently is fishy..and sooner or later, we will find out what it is. |
Having watched how Manchester City have been loosing matches over the recent weeks, what keeps coming to me is the financial fair play issues that have had hanging over them for a while.. I consider that these string of losses might be part of an under-the-table agreement between Man City and the Premier League authorities for them to "respectably" lose points instead of having such points summarily deducted publicly due to that FFP non-compliance And with the way they are losing shamelessly match day after match day, it reinforces my thoughts that they are in quite a hurry to have all the agreed points lost so that they can get back to business... Note...I have no concrete proof to back up this claim...but them going in the blink of an eye from being easily the most formidable premier League team to the serial losers they are presently has brought this possibilty to my mind |

Chrismentor3:Do you drive for mostly very short distances? If yes, try and drive for maybe 100km at a go and recheck the fuel consumption results It's normal for cars to have horrible mpg if they aren't driven long enough for the engine to warm up Do this first before you go fingering the vehicle |
