I think you guys should start communicating with your seller before proceeding.....I communicate well before buying stuffs unless it's a small item.... anything above $50 or around that price...I will communicate with then about how fast they ship.....

I bought something of 160$ yesterday and it was shipped that same yesterday...

Presently, it's showing outbound in sorting centre....by tomorrow or tonight- it will change to dispatched to overseas......


So guys, it's your money you are paying, communicate with confidence.....

Ask then if that can ship in 2-3 days with the tracking numbers displaying tracking updates, not just blank update.....

I haven't used it on Aliexpress nor Alibaba but I have used it on other international websites to make purchases and the transactions were flawless.

You fund via your naira account with your bank..same CBN rate...you do the conversion urself..it reflects instantly....I know u ve not tried it before..do it now and thank me later

But isn't it ludicrous that after opening the account they will tell you to go and buy dollar from aboki at bureau d change to fund the account. The bank will not sell dollar to you but they gladly sell to aboki. Nigeria is a joke run by extremely greedy men.

Did you really tried (practically) going to the bank and asking them about the purchase of dollar to fund prepaid card from them and they refused ?

The mobile phone I wanted to order goes for 129 usd. I had asked him to split the payment into 80 usd and 49 usd to enable me pay with 2 different debit cards. He accepted split payments, but offered to make it 100 usd and 29 usd instead, on the condition that if the percel get lost in transit, I would only be entitled to 100 usd refund, but forfeit the 29 usd.

The seller I wanted to buy from just replied me and said they will refund 100% full money if it did not arrive destination country

Ordered an item last year April ( an airdot with the silicon case ) more than 100days i didn't get the item but i was refunded then i had to buy one locally here and forgot about it. Last week Friday, i was texted by the P.O that i have a parcel to collect. Being suprised, i went to a tracking site to check and to my utmost surprise, it was the package. It spent 256days in transit. Yesterday i went to receive it but i was shocked to only see the silicon case there. The main airdot was missen. The bag used in packaging it had been opened and was celotaped thereafter. I contacted the seller and he said when he sent the package there wasn't any tape on the bag that someone might have stolen the package. The person that did this thing eh, God will punish you o. You should have taken the whole bag. Though i have been refunded long ago, i feel for the seller.

My question is what happened if the product did not arrive and you need to open dispute and ask for refund.

How do you go for refund if you use spilt payment on AliExpress?
