Though this guy was rash in his actions but I like his audacity and resolve.
There are better ways to doing things though.
Doing a wrong to correct or change a wrong doing is utterly not right no matter your grouse.
In Nigeria many youths try to defend the scamming acts with the narrative that white people at a time did scam Africa but I tell them that's an invalid excuse to engage in such when there are thousands of ease2access processes to earn online with.

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening to all my fellow Nigerians.
It's me Basalt, the guy that doesn't mince words, and today I will be talking about the ways foreign students who study in Europe (especially in Germany) can still save millions of naira even before finishing their studies. Believe me it is not really easy but most of our lifestyles are making it even more difficult.

1. Stay in the student hostel. The number one thing eating deep in our pocket is accommodation. I know of a friend that pays over €500 every month in accommodation alone.
Student hostels are usually subsidized for students, and you save more money when you pay less for rent.

2. Stay away from public health insurance if you are above 30yrs and you are not working a full-time job unless you have medical issues. If you are working full-time in Germany, public health insurance is compulsory. Your firm pays half and you will pay half, that is understandable but in a situation where you are not working full-time, you will pay almost €200 alone as insurance for someone who is above 30yrs old.
If you minus such a big amount, minus your rent. Wetin Remain?

3. Avoid girls that are too demanding, if you were single before coming to Germany, then date only girls that are here with you in Germany, most girls in Germany work and make their own money. So they will never be a pest to you and you will have a physical companion, not a phone companion that always calls to demand money.
What most girls will do is this.
First of all, they try to establish a relationship with you for months by chatting and asking you how you are and showing concern, then they move into the phase of milking you dry with numerous financial problems. Avoid such girls like plagues. Once they start demanding, start ignoring.

4. Stop sending money home unless for an important project or for an emergency. You can always use the excuse of being a student or Corona virus to prevent some unnecessary begging. Don't give shishi unless saving of life is involved or you are sending money to buy land , build a house etc.
If you keep sending money to everyone that demands, you will always go broke.

5. Never stay too long without working. Europe is not a place to live without working. If the semester is on, you will probably be too busy with studies to work full time, get a part-time job or a mini job to support yourself, and pay bills otherwise you will have no option than to spend the ones you saved before.

6. Stop buying expensive gadgets on loan. Buying properties on loan gives you a false illusion that you have arrived when you don't have anything.
You buy the latest iPhone on credit, you buy E-bicycle on credit, you buy big plasma TV on credit, you buy Macbook on credit, you buy a screen touch laptop on credit, some even buy a car on credit as a foreign student (though mostly not Nigerian students) .
When you buy all these things on credit, you will live a life of debt, and hardly will you make savings because you are practically working for your debts.

7. Avoid unnecessary parties and celebrations. When you organize parties for almost everything, you spend money you should have saved. Remember you are just a student, you don't have a professional job yet, you can still be kicked back to Nigeria when you fail to get a job within 18 months of graduation (God forbid).

8. Stop posting exortic pictures on facebook. People in Nigeria have that mindset that whoever goes on vacation is rich, they have the mindset that whoever enter aeroplane or even eat chicken is rich. So when you post such mouth watery pictures on facebook with nice environment coupled with your abroad induced freshness, you will create an illusion that you have arrived and you will only attract known and strange people begging in your dm. So you can avoid such disturbance by staying on a low key online.

This one happened to me recently but I serve a living God.
The man came with a jeep highly dressed with an expensive bling, he said he wanted 50k I charged him 1k he said no prob but he's doing transfer.

Inside me I was happy cos that means more commission, oga finished doing the transfer said I should check. While he wait inside his ac motor cos that day was hot af, after 5min he came and asked if I had seen the money I said no, he said maybe its network that he'll wait.

Another 10mins money never drop my scam rader began blinking po po po po.
Oga said I should give him 20k to settle someone while he wait till the money drops, I said mba.

When he saw that I wasn't fazed neither was I moved with his appearance, he suggested to send the money again but if the first 50k entered I should send it back to him and I should manage 5k for being an omo daada, oga did the second transfer showed me his bank app, our company's name and truly it showed successful even the first transfer details that they've not refunded him, I even saw his account balance wey be like recharge card pin sibe sibe this madam wasn't fazed.

Oga came back asked me how far, I said none of the two transfer dropped that means no money, he just hissed and drove off. till now I no see any 50k.

Pos work no easy honestly, the bad outweigh the good it's just God that's protecting most of us.

Although true he said that, but I feel punch is emphasising the sensational part over the economic reason he provided which is a fair point.

Niger has no access to the sea and if Nigeria gets its act together infrastructurallyn, we will be the preferred route for Nigerien oil (and uranium). Imagine the attendant jobs and revenue that will accrue to Nigeria as a result of this. Not to speak of the geopolitical influence.

If Nigeria were to get her acts right we should be reviving the ancient trans-Sahara trate routes strategically building influence in the countries that currently occupy those routes (Timbuktu, Agades, Tripoli etc) non of this North African country or middle eastern countries would have "nothing in us". But we are to busy fighting ourselves to see the potential in ourselves

How would you feel getting/waking up to see messages on your browsing gadgets and alas it's either junk messages (broadcasts), porn related pics or gore pics not to talk of been tasked to constantly remove yourself from groups you were added to by some very annoying persons that saw your number and added you up without first consulting your acceptance.? I can go on and on but not to bore you ill simply put it this way "If it'll cost my sanity it isn't worth it" however on your part it would have been more expedient of you to play fair or neutral by consulting with your source to ask if facebook communication was okay with him/her before trying to box someone just because you have an offer that draws interests.
BTW just to mention $3k mentioned isn't the reason for my interest but the fact that I have a knack for anything that looks or comes out as productivity from Proactivity not to mention that I did a little fund raising appraisal for a real estate firm who are yet to kick off their Mobile-House project worth $20million(#7.6billion naira equivalent @#380 exchange rate) as at when the donations or fund raising process was on (Names withheld based on agreement with the owner) and I was compensated for the job well done handsomely but the main joy I have is the satisfactory commendations from both donors and the project excos...I'm sure you know money is good but what is most satisfactory is the feeling of fulfillment haven delivered a service or job very very well! According to Information gathered by Agegetv Agege Online a commercial Motor Cycle Operator Popularly known as "Okada" said to have engaged the Suspected Kidnappers in a hot Chase from Ajegunle Toll-Gate Lagos-Ogun boundary spot after some of the school children kidnapped cried out for help through the window of the kidnapers Vehicle.
But, nemesis caught up with them at Mulero Bus Stop in Orile-Agege Lcda where their Vehicle was stopped by some Passersby after the Commercial Motorcycle operator raised alarm to alert Passersby of the action of the suspected Kidnappers.
We also gathered that one of the Kidnappers was lynched to death Instantly and also set ablazed right on the Spot together with their Vehicle. It took the quick intervention of the Nigeria Police Force to rescue the other two members of the Suspected Kidnappers and the School children kidnapped.
We could not confirm if one the abducted School children died in the vehicle, because we were told that the suspected Kidnappers had already killed one of the Children before luck ran against them at Orile-Agege Lcda in Lagos State.
