We usually don resign in Nigeria. He should be punished with a demotion. I wonder how he got to the level of sector commander with that empty barrel of a brain.

adioolayi:

"The state’s Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Stephen Dawulung, who confirmed the incident during a telephone chat with our correspondent on Wednesday, said, “We are aware of the incident because our attention was drawn to it. But since it relates to health issues; it is not in our jurisdiction. We only handle the issue of crashes.”

If what is above is truly from the State Sector Commander of FRSC, he should resign!!!

What is he talking about If there are accidents on highway, who are the first emergency responders that will assist the victims in giving first aid, stabilisation and also take them to the nearest hospitals

How can he say he deals with crashes only and not health related matters on highway

FRSC used to have clinics at some of their highway offices..what are they for

Na wa o

Guy, I'm sorry to say this but I don't know another way of doing so, Can you please see a psychiatrist and a psychologist!
What you display here daily is out of the ordinary. Consistently fishing for news with distorted views on religious leanings that support your own ideology, celebrating bloodbath and all that.
You worship Israel, yet detests the USA while they are bedfellows perpetually working in tandem.
God help you sha and some feeble minds you can influence

[i]MAKE NO MISTAKE! WHAT HAPPENED IN ISRAEL ON THE 14TH OF APRIL WAS A MYSTERIOUS MARVELLOUS EARTH SHAKING MIRACLE!!

My Friend in Israel just sent me this.

[color=#000099]An ISRAELI scientist who works for the security system and is a doctor of physics wrote the following words to his Rabbi yesterday:

"I wanted to share with the rabbi something that is much more than a feeling. That on Shabbat night something happened here on the scale of the splitting of the Red Sea.

I am a doctor of physics and I worked for several years in the defense industry in Israel, in projects that are still the cutting edge of the State of Israel. When I look at what happened on Saturday night on a scientific level, it simply cannot happen. Everyone, and I mean everyone, acted as one man in overall unity.

He continued: "The likelihood that everything works out just as it should does not exist in complex systems like the defense systems that were operating. They have never, I mean never, even beyond the State of Israel, been tried in real time. I took a pencil and dove into the calculations to check the likelihood that such a result would materialize.

“The large number of events that had to be handled at precisely the right time doubles the chance of making a mistake.

Politics / Re: Atiku Knocks Tinubu Over Secrecy In Lagos-Calabar Highway Project by Sensiblerealist: 10:56pm On Apr 07
I already told people about this. Sometimes, moving within or along the corridor or power dey make person see things.
Chagoury brothers are more Nigerians than Lebanese these days. They did things for Babangida before moving on to Abacha, and then Jagaban.
How on earth did they award a project at the first FCC meeting when new ministers just came on board.
I said it but nobody cared. No bidding, no tender, no nothing. As I wan believe say Umahi go do well, that alone don turn everything on its head.
Make I just keep kwayet before dem go dey read my name for news after DSS don dey deal with person pikin

So na Religion develop UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi and the other Middle East Nations.
Ogbeni you need to go outside there and see things before you dey Yan okpata.
You can't compare 80% of the middle east countries with any African country save for Egypt wey dey do join body with them after losing her economic power over some decades.
For a start, Google the currencies of GCC nations (which are a bloc in the middle East) against the dollar, then their GDP and other economic indices, then come back here and edit the potopoto you wrote.

Yugoslavia247:
The simultaneous way the Israeli defence force and the intelligence unit work.

Those guys are beast mode.

Sometimes until nations face certain level of external attack they will not develop.

Israel went beyond religion and focused on science and tech which is what most Islamic nations lack.
If religion is a reason to develop tech or science you will never go far.
That is is case of middle eastern arabs.

They are so filled up with religion that certain milestone are prohibited because it is not in line with the religion.

See Chinese
Jews
Americans
Indians
These people have seen beyond religion

But Africa minus white SAfricans are still after religion.

Lol.

Nice write up. But he did cause harm to others sha. People's funds make a bank or their insurer. Somehow somehow, e don cause am

shortgun:

Laws are global practices that mirror themselves with little or no modification in each country/state.Most laws in the constitution of Nigeria are copied word for word with laws in the constitution of the British. There are alot of evils that are legal but are not moral just as there are moral deeds that are not legal.
True freedom is achieved only by fulfilling one's conviction through finding ways around the law without causing harm to others...just as your friend has done.

Career / Re: Job Of 130k On The Mainland Or Job Of 330k On The Island (please Advise Me) by Sensiblerealist: 1:40pm On Mar 04
I think you forgot that period they were fixing Eko Bridge. Third Mainland and carter Bridges were hell.
You are right about Bonny camp though depending on the timing. Lekki Tollgate dey alway move at least cuz of Lastma at least . Anywhere after Lekki phase1, count me out abeg, especially from 3 pm onwards.
You should think about the exponential increase in cost of living though and the brackish kinda water on the Island in your potential relocation plans

uniquetechng:
The traffic situation isn't any better, I frequent Lekki because of my business, I and my wife are already thinking of relocating to the Island this year because of the stress I faced each time I go to the island despite not using public transport.
Train stops at CMS, 3rd mainland bridge has never been a place of traffic if you stay or frequent the Island.
Most times to navigate Bonny camp takes hours because of heavy traffic, and yeah the Lekki Tollgate is there.
Career / Re: Job Of 130k On The Mainland Or Job Of 330k On The Island (please Advise Me) by Sensiblerealist: 10:19am On Mar 04
The traffic situation is better these days. When they finish this new cycle of unending repairs on 3rd mainland bridge, it will even get better coupled with the red rail line

uniquetechng:
My boy jumped on a well paying job on the Island few years ago but almost got depressed because of the stress involved in going to the Island from mainland daily especially having to wake up as early as 4am daily and returned home around 12am most days because of traffic.
Think it through before approaching your current boss.
