Etsako Central people are not Igbos. Their language and culture is mostly Edoid but one can't rule out small similarities with Igbos because our fathers did travel far and wide those days rendering services all over the SS and SE. Most Estako people are called Afenmai and certain clans their have noted some connections they have with Igbos notably the metalsmiths in one small community their who claim relationship with the famous Awka Blacksmiths. Awka Blacksmiths were known to have travelled to Idah, deep into Edo state and as far as Urhoboland as itinerant artisans. There are historical records by researchers. Masquerade masks from Igboland have been seen among the Estakos which possibly was borrowed from their. This New Yam festival may also be borrowed since most Edoid are not known for having such festivals. By and large, these people are not Igbos both linguistically and culturally. They are clearly Edoid but certain features among them are also found among the Igbos. Edo North is a very complex area of different languages. It's very clear that the power of the Benin Kingdom was what held away and greatly influenced. These people share boundary with Delta North, close to the Agbor and I think that's Edo Central or Edo South. |
[quote author=EagleNest post=104269293]Is Rotimi Amechi not a lawyer? How come he wasn't in the meeting? Meanwhile, APC should not be stubborn and ignore SC ruling. Party Chairman and Governor are two different elective positions. One person can't occupy both positions at the same time. May be they should work to elect a new party Chairman. Rotimi Amaechi studied English language. He's not a lawyer. |
In the same church where people give testimonies about getting visas abroad. He should tell us about Nigerians enjoying abroad. |
FatherCHRISTMAS:huMANity...lol |
I hope you read and understand the History. Reno Omokri who doesn't know his heritage shouldn't be the one teaching us about history.

All these una fight go just make APC win. |
Fiscus105:I graduated from UNIBEN just 2019 so I know what you're talking about. I know universities do give provisional results and certificates but to withdraw ones result isn't a fiat decision. There will have to be tangible proofs that the person has erred. My opinion is that tangible proof is hard to get in her case now. |
Realhommie:There's nothing there. Try to do a little thinking. Examination malpractice is usually committed during the exam. Anything after the exam, it's almost difficult, nearly impossible to apprehend someone of commiting malpractice with tangible proofs. That's my take. To nail the lady, they'll need proofs. I fear it's impossible they'll get evidence. P.S: What if the girl meets the panel and says "the inscription on her shirt is Aggressive Malpractice... And not aggressive examination malpractice" What will the panel do? I hope you know there are other kinds of malpractices. |
Realhommie:If her exam script is investigated and discrepancies found, it's her lecturers that'll take the blame and not her. It's difficult for the committee to get a proof of examination malpractice when she has written all her exams. By checking her scripts won't provide the proof needed to nail her except you also want to check others who wrote the exam with her. P.S: The inscription on her shirt says Aggressive Malpractice...not aggressive examination malpractice. There are different types of malpractice. What if she meets the panel and say it's not examination malpractice ![]() |

All she has to do is meet a good lawyer that will tell her what to say. The case is dead on arrival, they don't have proof/evidence of malpractice. She can just tell them she was just catching cruise that's all. |
UstazAhmed:If the Odi strategy was so effective, why bother creating NDDC and introducing amnesty? I hope you know what the country lost when its leaders were thinking like you. Remember you don't know the region more than its people. Ask Buhari, with all his military might, he couldn't arrest Tompolo. |
UstazAhmed:And you think there'll be peace in the future. No peace without justice. The day we vex, we shut down oil production. We have done it before and we can do it again. |
slawormiir:How can ten million fit in a wallet? The post said the amount in the wallet was enough to pay his fees and get he returned it. Appreciate the nigga for once Mr. Fault Finder. |
Splendoor:How is 19yrs old underage?. A 19yr old girl is ripe for marriage. P.S: I'm not from the north. |
HenryDion:How can I be like you? Show me the way please. |
flokii:People use Ms. For married woman. It's now the standard way of addressing woman irrespective of whether they're married or not. It's being adopted inorder to stem any form of discrimination arising from being married or not. |
If truly it's a case of mistaken identity, it's very sad. Man was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. May his soul rest in peace. Wonder what's going through the other Biggs's mind now. |
Na so PDP take lose 2023. The real Presidential election in 2023 might just be APC primary. |
flokii:Check well. She only married a Yoruba man. She's from Delta state. |

Good initiative. The opportunities in the cassava value chain hasn't been fully harnessed. |
Seems a coup is in the pipeline. There's no smoke without fire. |
I don't know where Nigerians especially the political class arrived at the conclusion that the "Marshall Plan" to scurry Nigerians out of poverty is through empowerment- a sort of grant in cash or kind featuring items such as motorcycles, tricycles, cars, items for different apprenticeship skills like sewing machines, generator set, etc. Although not condemnable as it truly can create employment opportunities for the people considering the meaning of the term empowerment- to make one powerful drives one to probe the intent of the plethora of empowerment programs carried out by members of the political class since 2010 when we entered the empowerment frenzy. Questions that should bother our minds is, has it really created economically self reliant individuals? Is it geared towards poverty alleviation and job creation or making playing to the gallery? The latter seems to hold true considering some ludicrous "empowerment" programs embarked on by some political office holders in the country. Lets get a review. A member of the NASS once distributed sewing kits to coblers popularly know as "shoemakers" in his constituency. A Governor in one of the North Central states distributed wheelbarrow , Yes! Wheelbarrow to citizens of his state as "empowerment''. In one of the South East states, a federal lawmaker distributed Cutlass to members of his constituency all in the name of "empowerment". What about the former Governor of one of the South West states that shared chicken and rice in an empowerment drive in what was dubbed stomach infrastructure. In the South South, a federal lawmaker once shared motorcycles to members of his constituency without safety helmets. The LGA chairman thought it wise to empower the motorcyclists with helmets. Both LGA chairman and lawmaker complementing each other. Our first ladies are not left out in the charade. A Governor's wife from the north once empowered widows with bags of sachet water. Anyway, water is life, just what those who have lost a spouse need. From bread to goats, the list of ridiculous empowerment is inexhaustive. In all of these, stats and observation show that Nigerians have become less empowered economically, mentally, politically etc and won't hesitate to queue up for more "empowerment" what has now more like handouts. In 2018, Nigeria overtook India as the poverty capital of the World and observation from from elections show people still sell their franchise for paltry sums or little gifts. I'm not against empowerment initiatives, but if all you have is motorcycle, what you'll ban with one memo or rope- an apparatus for suicide. I won't mind drinking a sniper. And sniper, I wonder why nobody have thought of empowering us with that? Perhaps the "empowerers" know better.

Good info. All those interested in "japaing" take note. |
You were trying to draw a pathway and you ass was blocking someone's pathway. Lol... Jokes apart, you should have told him off. Point blank. I don't like it. Cased closed. Next time, voice your displeasure. |
Where will you get funds to pay them? Or isn't he aware of the state of our recurrent expenditure? To imagine such an idea is coming from a perceived Presidential aspirant tells the mindset of our leaders. |
Seems there's no synergy in the deceit. Is NCDC records for only Lagos or the whole country? If Yes, why the differences? Abeg the deception don end, make una allow life come back to how e be before.

Johnson5258:The budget for the past five years have been footed with loans so that's not an excuse. It's just lazy man way of running from responsibility. |
