The xhosas are the only tribe in south Africa that have been proven to be indigenous to that land. Other tribes settled in at one point or the other.

Correction. There are varying Nguni peoples who were copted or merged into the Xhosa speaking peoples who also merged with some indigenous Khoisan people.

Example would be Mandela who is Abathembu of the Madiba clan. He is a Xhosa speaking person who's people likely migrated into the area.

A majority of the South AFrican muslims are Cape malay peoples not the Indians that were brought by the british to Natal.

Majority of the indigenous muslims in the South AFrica are not of Arab stock.

Muslims in South Africa are not indigenous. They were brought to South Africa as cheap labour in the 19th century by the British from its Indian colony.

If they are not indigenous then no one from South Africa can claim indigeneity.
