rka1: Nothing new there unfortunately. Same old clips collated and edited. Same videos with soldiers firing in the air. No bodies. If soldiers were to fire into the crowd, there would be no debate with bodies everywhere and multiple injuries.
CNN moved from 36 dead in October to 1 in November. Nearly 1 month on and no bodies nor mums, dads, uncles, aunties, cousins, relatives have come forward to declare anyone missing.
When Lagos State Governor visited hospitals after the lekki incident, he reported 1 death from Lekki, which was from blunt force trauma.
How long can the dead be hidden?
Produce the evidence, that is all I am asking.
I am not going to believe a report because it is CNN (done by a Nigerian by the way) when it has all been seen before.
You can call me all the names you want, it won't change anything. I'm very sure you didn't watch the clip cos at least two soldiers fired directly into the crowd, but like I said earlier, you can't shame the shameless. I encourage everyone who's yet to see the clip to watch it, it's just 5mins long and make your own deductions https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/18/africa/lagos-nigeria-lekki-toll-gate-feature-intl/index.html |

There is nothing there, just sensationalism. Well, you can't shame the shameless |

CNN has collated all evidences into a nice short 5min clip for you guys. You all should bury your head in shame |

Whyem15: You all should chill, if Buhari is humble enough to lick US/UK's ass, we will even get several weapons donated to us. Or is not the same US/UK funding, arming, providing training and support for Saudi's genocide of Yemenis? Even after evidence of the brutal killings of Jamal kashogi. These people don't care about the lives of their own citizens talk less of citizens of "shithole countries". And it is also very possible that we will lose everything. Just don't speculate or anticipate anything. Whatever will happen will happen The American senate actually voted to stop arms sale to Saudi Arabia last year. It was Trump that vetoed the decision |

Nigeria might not be of much interest to Biden in the first quarter of 2021, but I assure you that once the media decides to flog the issue by creating bad press he will stop delivery of the remaining planes.
A single headline from CNN along lines of US is arming the same administration that killed its own citizens will spark renewed interests and mount pressure on the administration.
All the human rights abuses claim during Obama's administration were only rumors amplified by Amnesty International and there was not much credibility at the time. Now there are evidences everywhere.
The fact that it has happened before should even be enough to make everyone understand that it might happen again (Biden was Obama's vp).
And the opinion Nigeria is of no strategic importance to the US is not entirely correct especially in the West African subregion. It's all about influence and projection of power, it's how they remain at the top. |

Whyem15: Bro forget all these...... The greatest violators of human rights are US allies. Even US sanctioned ICC to prevent them from investigating war crimes committed by US in Afghanistan and Iraq. Look at Julian Assange, he is in deep trouble for exposing US war crimes. US doesn't give a turd about human rights, they only care about their own interests. Saudi butchered a US resident (Jamal kashogi) and the following month trump agreed to a massive arms deal. Nigeria is of no strategic importance to the US, the military didn't even do up to this before the Obama administration blocked all attempts to purchase arms |

And yes they can ride in white hilux trucks. In Oyo state Op Burst uses white hilux, in kwara state the army uses white hilux when patrolling Kwara poly. I support #EndSARS, but I see what Wike is trying to prevent. If protest should take place in PH things will go very bad. I've seen tweets where PH citizens have vowed to go to the protest with their own 'tools' in case police men harass them. Peaceful protest can easily degenerate into riot leading to loss of lives and properties and Wike will be responsible, hence he's taking preemptive actions |

I understand many people have been scammed via this platform, I must commend your efforts in trying to prevent a potential scam.
But as we can all see, reinapbunny has not tried to scam anyone. At least 2 different people have interacted with her and on no account did she ask anyone for money. She has also posted evidence, chats and recent pictures that her intentions are genuine.
In my opinion, you've done a great job by trying to protect the interest of nairalanders from a potential scam, but at this point, Reinapbunny has been vindicated and is actually genuine. It is unfair to someone that took an abused dog and nursed it back to health to be labeled a scammer without any substantial proof. Reinapbunny should be commended for her efforts.
In light of the above, I'll recommend you take down this thread and delete your comments on her page. This thread has fulfilled it's purpose and it's time to let it go. an apology to Reinapbunny is also in order.
Thank you and have a nice day |

dragon2: This is a discussion about being a destroyer, not how heavily armed a ship it is.As I said aradu is a "mini" destroyer yet has more complete anti aircraft, sub and ship weapon suit than the valour class. The valour has 4 torpedo's and no depth charge but the aradu has 6 torps. and depth charges. Which would you be in,in the middle of nowhere?. With 8 antiship,6 torpedoes,24 anti-aircraft,depth charges.Aradu is a more complete destroyer than A200. Note,A200 does not have depth charges. It is all about the proportions needed to perform the role of blue sea escort. The Valour performs excellently in anti air, and antiship but needs to be close to port for anti-sub. That is why you bought subs You took the bait |

tonididdy: I have always seen this thread and just ignore but when I saw a similar thread (like a reply thread), I had to get in here to try and understand one or two
But before I want to know one or two.. The business man is 10001% wrong to want to force an apology out of an unsatisfied customer. It's outright bully.
Then back to knowing one or two, the screen shots were my first point of attraction. You could clearly see the business man is head strong kind of person, I don't like when business is non - flexible.
Like I said earlier... This could have be settled out of court. There are enough NL voices here to settle this, even offline.
I will not support business bullying... This act may just tarnish your image completely. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN SETTLED OUT OF COURT Which apology? Did you even read from the first page? Many people have pleaded with the buyer on the best way to proceed yet he chose to ignore all the pleas but rather went on a smear campaign on the sellers business threads. How will the voices on NL settle this, when we are not even sure of the current state of the said item. Cracked screen? After 2months? Couldn't it have cracked in the buyers care? Heck I woke up one morning and my pc's screen was broken, it was after 2weeks that my younger brother admitted he was the one that accidentally slept on it. Majority are not even trying to judge in whose care the screen was cracked, encourage the buyer to at least show evidence that the screen is even cracked to begin with |

naijasensei: Hi. I want to commend you for your maturity in handling this badly scripted smear campaign. I just want to say something which might sound a little bit controversial. Whenever a prospective customer starts begging excessively, lamenting they don't have enough money, asking very annoying questions, or asking you to make weird concessions - avoid them, or make them sign an agreement. From my investigations, some of the most vicious and ungrateful customers are usually those you made some personal concessions for. This is so true, of all the deals I've done, the only bad experience was with the one that was begging because his money was not yet complete at the time. This guy travelled down to where I was , wanted to drop his ID card with me, but he ended up like the op |

ugo4u: The Chadians are not better equipped than the Nigerian army, infact they're no where near us. The advantage they have over our military is that they have alot of experience in asymetric warfare than us, when it comes to conventional warfare they're a total wash out. Chadians have being fighting insurgency for more than 30yrs, they understand the terrain better and their foot soldiers almost have same mentality as the terrorists they're fighting. Chadians don't mind using AA and other unconventional weapons on bokoharam/ISWAP against Geneva convention while our army tend to play by international rules because we have much at stake in the international community than Chad. For me buying long range artilleries, AAs, SAMs etc is shouldn't be a priority our goal now should be focused on Intels gathering, achieving 24/7 surveillance over hotspots, buying proper fit for purpose vehicles (MRAPs, APC, IFVs) etc for moving troops and logistics, UAVs, UCAVs, Mine detectors, also we should invest in K9's. I spoke to an SF guy stationed in the north east, he said the major problem they're facing is the fear of hitting IEDs, Bokoharam can't sustain a face off confrontation with the army, they hit you and retreat or lay ambush and seize weapons. If we can overcome the issue of IEDs, and have a concatenated network of intels gathering we will achieve alot. Well said, chadian army was built to fight this type of war. Guys, read up on the TOYOTA WAR and you'll get the gist |

Whyem15: Honestly, Nigerian army needs to invest in long range artillery. Talk about around 60km range. Magumeri is just 45km from Maiduguri, 2 weeks of shelling guided by UAVs will soften the town up but sadly our best artillery don't even have up to 30km range. Why don't you advise them to kuku ma nuke the entire NE |

This Zulum matter just be one kind. I agree with komekn, but I also see ugo4u's point.
I think he should continue what he has been doing. The military needs to sit up and this incessant attacks on him should be a wake up call.
This war is currently in a stalemate and it's really difficult to defend some of the actions of the military especially the army |
