These system are new and somehow complex, our personnel’s needs to be trained effectively so these hardwares perform well and do not fall into wrong hands.
They are still undergoing training, these hardwares are still in Bauchi State.
The major offensive would be around December-January when the vegetation and terrain would favor these new machines grin
I thought the training (for first set of crew) is usually before delivery of the equipment. I wish to see another massive offensive similar to that before the 2015 elections

All my friends in the Military had connections cheesy
The thing with connection is that almost everyone has in varying degrees. Many of those that couldn't get into NDA too has connection(s).

What I can deduce from redemption's post is that before your connect can work, you have to meet the minimum requirements and as long as you meet those you're qualified to be selected. your connection will only make a difference if there are too many qualified candidates for the same position.

If your friends believe it was the connection that got them into the military and not their own abilities, then they should not be in the military.

Edit: they probably would not survive the academy if they were unqualified, if they are officers now, then they are qualified for NDA right from time.

I will still say it “I stand to be corrected there’s no military officer here”

To tell you how crazy this thread is our resident clown @fieldmarshall06 once claimed to have inside knowledge on classified intel of secret military hardware. Don’t take these fools serious.

When siriusblack started posting here, nobody even dared question if he was a serving officer or not.
Cam Dan chief, I believe captainstephen and probably allexpensive are officers. A while back we had deathmachine too. officers pop in from time to time
HealthRe: Help My Girlfriend Is Epileptic. by SerikinGamo: 3:01pm On Sep 28, 2020
Chef2000:
Please doctors in the house is there a cure for nocturnal epilepsy?

I have a pretty girl, we started dating 8 months ago, this girl is everything I need in a woman, she is neat, cooks well and humble, so perfect to my taste but she is epileptic.

I have been inviting her to my house for over 5months for her to sleep over in my apartment but she keeps refusing, telling me she has a problem then I later promised her whatever the problem is that I wouldn't abadon her.

She finally came on friday, we ate together and later in the night at 22:38 she started having epilepsy and after about 45mins she woke up and started crying, she told me she has been suffering from epilepsy since Feb 2019 but she hasn't been to the hospital due to financial issues.

So please can we find drug for nocturnal epilepsy, it happens to her only at night like 30 to 35mins in her sleep.
There's a solution, visit an hospital preferably a tertiary facility like a teaching hospital. and if it's truly nocturnal epilepsy the treatment is very cheap. I had it 2011/2012 I was placed on a single medication that I used daily for 1yr or thereabouts and I was completely cured

This is my last post too I hope my brother.

It's unfortunate that you think I mentioned ceramics but I dont know the meaning of composites which is just a general term used to define all types of - non metal only - armour alternatives like the ceramics I mentioned.

So disappointing that you are not smart enough to know that since I know ceramics, the market price, the met & mat use, the technical disadvantages, the armouring benefits, then at such level I know that ceramics is just one of many types of various composite material options..

Word ceramics as I used it, is how we abbreviate longer full term - ceramic composite armour - please correct your ignorance dear nemesis.

https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1359836815005119

I plan current factory introduction of composite armour mix with Nigerian MRAP manufacturers, it's not pride, it's being happy to improve Nigerian Def Sec industry. We are Africans but don't assume we are ignorant and only Indians know composite usage ; DICON makes ballistic vests using Aramid Composite - we are coming up with ceramic composites and carbon fibre composites for vehicles kinetic threat armouring.
You, an individual made a statement and you're trying to lump AFRICANS, 54+ countries, over a billion people into your individual opinion..it makes no sense

Nigerian Army field report from battle experience in North East against IED showed all their own IED contact is by wheels not belly, vehicles drive on road with wheels (not crawl road on belly) so thats what hits the mine in reality so the most important level of TNT kg resistance is wheels, 12 kg vehicle was found safer than 10 kg.

Army experience in Borno Axis also showed many double shell IED made of Arty 155mm Ord was common, so any MRAP based on single howitzer shell was destroyed with occupants fatality, NA learnt practical lessons that the safe MRAP is 12kg blast on wheel contact resistance.

Ezugwu will save soldiers lives far more than ARA II, whether people here like this fact or not.
I'm not interested in ezugwu vs ara, I just stated what you left out.

Crawling on the belly is just ridiculous, multiple IEDs can be chained up to ensure penetration of the hull.

+
Ezugwu can only resist up to 7kg TNT underbelly and 12kg under the wheels. Ara offers stanag level 4a and 4b (that's 10kg underbelly)

They are boko haram and yet they've not featured in any of the propaganda videos

Hello , I'm starting my web development journey today ,I've already downloaded all my Udemy videos already , everything is set but I'm thinking of maybe reading some PDFs before using watching the Udemy videos , so can someone suggest good html and CSS PDFs ?
You don't really need pdfs for now unless you want to take a really deep dive, you can get books when you start learning real programming languages. Andrew ngs course is good enough, but nothing will beat getting your hands dirty. Practice once in a while with freecodecamp and the Odin project

I recall the first time myself and my sibling watched "24". I remember saying, "Thank God Nigeria is not having terrorism problems like USA." Few years later Boko Haram issue became full blown, worse than what Jack Bauer had to deal with in "24". Very few people saw that coming.

The only thing that is constant in life is change. We can't predict the future threat Nigeria will be facing which is why we need to prepare for all eventualities.
But internal conflict has always been Nigeria's major issue. You need no prophet, from the Maitatsine riots to Niger delta militancy, kidnapping and all sorts.

There are people whose job it is to 'predict' the future and Defence posture of any country is based on their recommendations.

It is just unfortunate that Nigeria failed to prepare even for this threat we've always faced prior to BH insurgency

What baffles me each time I go through this thread and the other is the audacity with which people who have zero idea or knowledge about military operations give their ill thought out, half baked opinions about military issues.

I can never understand how people who can’t even say properly what a rifle is, think they know better than a commander, on the field, with several years of experience in combat, all from a very short video shot from one angle.

How do you even do this?

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN COMBAT?

HAVE YOU EVER RECEIVED MILITARY TRAINING?

If the answers are no, kindly tell us on which background you make your comments.

No Neighboring Country will be ready to cooperate with Nigeria on this war. You want to cooperate with a country that is not ready to decimate these bastards?

There was an incidence that happened in April last year here in Monguno. ISWAP showed up in the night around 7pm screaming "Allahu Akbar" and firing into the air. Everywhere was cold here in Monguno for over an hour.

Everyone was waiting to see a military reinforcement. An hour later Chadian Soldiers rolled out from the Barracks in hot chase of these bastards towards Marte. That night the Chadians did not return as they camped in Marte LGA.

The next morning they brought three bodies of ISWAP members. From our rumour mills here, they complained that the Nigeria top military did not give them a go ahead to chase these guys on time.

The unwillingness on Chad’s part is deeper than that

Edit: Why do you always type in bold print?
