I know we shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but what he did to Mary Jo Kopechnie was shocking, She drowned in his car as he sought help from his family and authorities to cover up his crime rather than calling for help. His shocking cowardice and selfishness is how he should be remembered, as it reflects on his life-long career which was marked by a disregard for all human life except his own.

His passing is an opportunity to remember Mary Jo Kopechnie
